We decided to have dinner (planned to eat after the appointment). By 10:30pm we had given up. No phone call, nothing. They just didn't bother to show nor follow up. "Eek! Methinks not" just about covers what we think about RRS... Update: The next day they left a voicemail indicating that they were on a job until 2am and couldn't make it to our appointment. It would have been nice to know BEFORE our appointment rather than 1 day later. We are well aware you did not show up, thank you.

James is a pleasure to work with (so easy going and professional) and he is always around working and managing during the project. For the work A Better Craft did for my project - see below. WORK COMPLETED: Painted my unfinished basement from top to bottom (including painting and tacking up messy wires and finding a way to conceal them), smoothed over an uneven concrete basement floor, patched up parts of the ceiling where you could see the rafters, installed recessed lights and moved electrical outlets, built a closet with doors that his team constructed from a picture I showed them, patched up and painted my cracking concrete steps in the front and back of my house, installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom, hung heavy gym wall mirrors on the concrete walls in my basement, eliminated my rodent issue by adding wood siding under my steps and deck and had my iron gate repaired in front of my home. James is a talented painter and he knows his team well in addition to knowing all the local hardware, paint, and electrical stores which helps with product and pricing. You will enjoy working with A Better Craft!

Shafayet and his crew did a truly amazing job, and I am so thankful for all their time, care, and commitment to making our house special and beautiful. This was a big job. We installed 2 new kitchens, 2 new bathrooms, rebuilt the back wall of our house to add large windows, added a deck, skylights, and a bunch of other things in between. At every step, Shafayet worked hard to make sure the house turned out perfectly. I have nothing but the best things to say about our new home and the care Multi put in to make it right. For this type of work, we received bids from a number of different people. Multi priced everything very competitively and they are very transparent on costs for change orders. I recommend them highly, and I will be sending friends to them for years to come!

The work included structural work to repair / replace old decaying beams and to add new support beams. The work included the relocation of 2 full new kitchens; all new internal plumbing; an upgraded electrical system; and the installation of split air conditioning systems throughout all 5 floors. The millwork / finishing / painting done by his team were meticulous, and we ended up 2 beautiful new apartments - a triplex with 2 bedrooms 2 baths, and a duplex with 2 bedrooms / 2 baths. Shafayet was always responsive to our inquiries / requests and provided solutions to the many problems that were encountered in a project of this size. He also coordinated well with the architect and third party vendors that were involved in this project too. His bid for the job was very reasonable compared to the bids of 4 other general contractors. Great value overall!

Malik is the owner and he is onsite every day and is always reachable for questions. He and his workers are all gentlemen. They are very kind, polite, capable and extremely hard-working guys and treated us like we were family and treated our house as if it was their own. They cleaned up very carefully every night before leaving. Malik stayed in touch throughout with status updates. My job was an extensive one involving tuckpointing, waterproofing, lintel replacement and roof and gutter work for a 2-Family building after it sprung some severe leaks this winter. When the water started pouring in, Malik came over immediately and even sent his team over free of charge to de-ice the entire building and roof. On top of it all, he gave me a 10 year warranty, so I felt completely comfortable in booking them for the work on the spot. These guys are so professional and just top class. Their prices are fair. Some of my neighbors will also use them in the future. I am a single woman, and they did not jerk me around like some of the rough characters out there you have to deal with when you're talking to contractors in NYC. Thank you, Al-Arsh Construction!! I am so grateful for you and I am a customer for life. Book with confidence.

I'm thrilled with the job that Creative Construction did! At a time when most contractors w/great…read morereviews were "too busy w/other jobs" for my kitchen backsplash projects, Creative construction was available, prompt, very professional, courteous, maintained constant communication, very friendly and finished the job sooner than expected. Reaz is very thorough, polite and responds almost immediately when contacted. He wasn't on site constantly, but I didn't expect him to be, as he thoughtfully explained prior to being granted the job, that he would there initially, then check in throughout the day - which he did. I had already purchased the backsplash tiles that were to replace the existing and had it on site. They were not the easiest tiles to work with because they were stainless steel wrapped around a ceramic tile. I knew what color grout I wanted, but one of the workers suggested white. I was skeptical, so they mixed up a small batch to show me how it would look. I appreciated that. The white created a contrast I didn't want, so we went with the "Delorean Gray" as I wanted to minimize the contrast. They completed the job in two days and I am very happy with the attention to details with this stainless steel 2x4 subway tile. My only minor complaint is that I had to constantly remind the two workers to close the sliding screen door behind them so my cat wouldn't run out and mosquitos wouldn't enter the house. So, I felt like i had to stay nearby to monitor that the door was kept closed. Again...that is a very minor criticism. The workers were very polite and did a great job in a timely manor and completely cleaned up the end of each day. I highly recommend Reaz and Creative Construction to anyone who asks!! Thank you Reaz!! :-) Jim & Dave
