I stopped in to look for a new bed. I was quickly approached by a sales person asking if they could help. I let them know I appreciated it but would come find them when I was ready. I know everyone is trying to be helpful (and earn that $$) but its annoying to be asked every 5-7 minutes by different people if you need help. I found just the right mattress for me and found the sales person I spoke to at the start. The mattress was reasonably priced. Not too soft and not too stiff. We wrapped up the sale and arranged delivery for a few days later. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes flat. Perfect! read more

I interviewed at this location, I had a great first interview, but the second interview with the Regional Manager, Cliff, was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. He began the conversation by threatening me--stating that if I lied, he would find out. From there, the interview took a very personal and invasive turn. He asked extremely detailed questions about my childhood, family background, relationships, schooling, and even girlfriends going back to elementary, middle, and high school--none of which were relevant to the position. At no point in the interview did we discuss the actual job, the company, or anything related to sales or qualifications. As a 45-year-old professional with years of experience, I've never encountered an interview like this. The questions were not only inappropriate, but crossed a line into being uncomfortable and borderline interrogative. I nearly walked out. I brought my concerns to the Director of Regional Sales, Mike Lipchik, who unfortunately dismissed them by saying they "just have a different interview process." This is all based on delivery service. Delivery team was very rude and careless. From the second they arrived to when they left you could tell they were in a hurry. The old mattress was thrown down the stairs, which broke three picture frames and damaged the wall. Glass everywhere! Not even a sorry. He said " do you have a broom and trash can?" Then was told to call the store about the damages. They made it seem like it was our fault. My wife with 3 kids under 6 was left crying and cleaning to make sure all the glass was picked up. 11/11/2021 - 7:30AM - Aggressive Truck Driving Behavior I-70 East bound from Commerce City to Aurora. 7:30AM on 11/11/2021 - Driver Driving Fast, Aggressive, Jerky, Tailgating (1-2 car lengths), Staying on Passenger vehicle lane (left lane) for several miles. Trucker merged late driving outside the lanes in order to squeeze into a heavily trafficked highway on the left lane (this was not an on ramp lane). There was plenty of notice that the lane was ending and merging. This was on to a passenger left lane, where a van line should not be. This is where I took notice of his behavior as it was very unusual from any trucker I've ever witness on the highway. Then he proceeded to tailgate the car in front of him trying to push traffic forward it seemed in a very aggressive intimidating fashion. I drove along side for the next several miles, and he was continuously aggressive, it was irrational because nobody around him was aggressive nor giving him a reason to drive like he was. We were exposed to sexual harassment, intimidating, hostile, offensive, and uncomfortable behavior when shopping for a mattress on last Thursday afternoon 1/4/24 and being helped by the Manager Danny, who was helpful showing us different mattresses. When my girlfriend excused herself to use the restroom the remaining 3 male sales people were observed at the sales desk watching pornography in full view on one of the computers, which was very disturbing. Great selection of mattresses. It took a while for someone to approach us to see if we needed help but that's not a big deal. We were told that the accessories needed to picked up in store. When I went to get them they did not have the pillows so I would have to come back or they could fedex them. I chose to have them shipped. We received king sized pillows which were too big for the protectors we received & our queen sized bed. My husband went to exchange them for a smaller size. They brought out mediums instead of firm as ordered. No big deal they corrected it. Turns out the firm is too firm for my husband & after 2 nights he can't use it. We are hoping to exchange it. Tried once & they didn't have any in stock. I'm very happy with the mattress & haul away. It would be nice for as much as you invest in a mattress etc to make the process as convenient as possible on the customer. read more

We ordered a mattress last Thursday and was promised that it would be at the store today Monday. We called to see if it had shown up yet and the lady told us that they never put it on the truck and it would be here this Thursday. We told the "manager" that we already got rid of the old mattress and that we needed it today and she said we won't get it until Thursday not an I'm sorry let's fix this. It took a lot of patience, and I almost gave up, but once I talked to the right person, my concerns were handled immediately. Once one of the guys who runs this company realized what was going on, he didn't waste anytime, he got shit done quick and orderly the right way so I can absolutely say I am a satisfied customer. Exceptional service while dealing with any type of dissatisfied customer goes a long way. A+ thanks for the quick and helpful delivery. A note for the "warehouse" employee who initially answered my questions by informing me there was no way I could exchange my mattress, and wasn't allowed to speak with a manager because "they would say the same thing." - I would highly suggest you remember that happy customers are what you want, and in order to do that, some times you might have to ask someone above your pay grade. Denver Mattress makes me late for work. My old mattress was from the 70s and I kept falling into the same body indentation every night. I decided to visit Denver Mattress for an upgrade because I'd heard good things and I didn't have thousands to blow on a mattress. I bought "The Breckenridge" model and it was relatively inexpensive. Mattress + 2 pillows and a pad for $400. The experience was painless. Blake, my sales person, was very helpful and friendly. He didn't try to up sell me and the transaction was fast. I was there maybe a total of 20 minutes. They had the mattress in stock and I drove home with it that day. Now here's the problem. The mattress is so comfortable, I've had to increase the volume of my alarm clock three times. It's like sleeping on a magical cloud. I'm actually looking forward to finishing this review so I can GO TO BED!!! read more

My salesperson Leonardo worked hard to get me a fantastic deal, then coordinated with the other two adjoining stores to get my mattress delivered on the same day in the same delivery window as other pieces I'd purchased the day before- all in 20 minutes. Not only did the process go seemlessly, my salesperson later sent me a hand-written thank you card to follow up. In an age where customer service seems a lost art, like a dead language, or vinyl records, these guys shine. Later that week, I saw a presentation at my church: Denver Mattress found out about Musana, an African orphanage, where the kids were sleeping on these thin foam strips on their bunk beds. Denver Mattress donated a new, top of the line mattress for every child - and didn't advertise a word of it. This is practically what I would define as true nobility: doing the right thing even after there's no further reward, and no one's looking. These guys rock. read more

Denver Mattress is a solid company. I like that they are attached to a series of home furnishings stores, which makes it easy for one stop shopping. The biggest draw for me was that they offer really kick-ass financing. You can do deals like 4 years no interest, which makes it manageable to upgrade your furniture. The sales guys were all very friendly and not extremely pushy. They were able to look at the big picture of what we were looking for and help us come up with good solutions. We had a problem with a less than two year old Simmons Recharge mattress ($1800 King, so not low end)...I sent ONE email to Denver Mattress, Derek picked it up and called me with an hour of my sending the email. Remarkable. He solved the problem to our complete satisfaction. It was handled in the utmost professional and proficient manner. So I decided to go into the store off of 6th and Kipling (bigger store more variety) and was soooo glad I did. Cloyce difussed the situation brought it to managements attention. He didn't need to take the amount of time he did with us since it was a warranty issue, but he spent almost 2 hours with us. After struggling for several weeks with pain in our hips, I called and sent the picture of how bad it was. So they sent a replacement out and it is/was just as bad as the one they took back. I bought a bed from these folks and I must say, I was very pleased. Neither the bed nor the mattress were actually made by them and although I'm quite happy, mostly this is about the store. We shopped HARD for this thing. It was expensive. My wife is disabled and we wanted an electric adjustable frame in king size. Those things cost upwards of $1000. Some are over $2000. That doesn't include the mattress or the furniture. Yikes! They're also kind of picky about what mattresses will and won't work with them. We started shopping in July and finally actually bought it on New Years day. They were having a sale in July when we went in (they have a lot of sales) but not when we bought. It turns out that this was the best sale of the year. No problem, they honored the sales price even though we waited 6 months after it was over to actually buy. No pressure to buy the upgrades although we bought most anyway. Delivery was 3 days later. Woo hoo. That's where it sort of went south. They ordered in the wrong parts and bumped us a day for delivery. When they finally showed up it was missing a critical cable and the delivery guy said it takes 3 month to get one from China. We were pissed although we were nice about it. The next day the sales guy called. He said they were out of the cables, he didn't know at the time of the sale, and that was unacceptable. He went out and bought one, brought it over (we live almost 20 miles from the store), installed it, and said the store will reimburse him for it. Andy really went above and beyond for us. My problem is I kept the old box springs and mattress just in case I was not happy with the latest purchase. Now that I am in love with the new mattress, Denver Mattress wants $90 to pick up the old one. SO... if you make a purchase make sure you get in writing that they will pick up the old mattress after the trial period at no charge. But then after finally being "helped" by one of the guys, he walks back to his group to then speak secretively together, laugh and stare at us. We left. Very uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience. I don't know about the mattress, but so far, I am incredibly unhappy with Denver Mattress. The delivery service was the worst I've ever received. They arrived 30 minutes early prior to their delivery window, (which was 8:30am-10:30am) and expected to be able to deliver. We have a half-flight of stairs up to the bedroom, which is almost a straight shot in from the stir well, so they didn't have to do a whole lot of maneuvering to get into the room. No foot booties were worn, (there are now dirty footprints up our stairs) and no gloves were worn. The delivery service includes an old mattress haul-away, but we are keeping our old mattress, so they only had to bring in the new mattress and base. And yet they were in SUCH a hurry they: left our door open while they were setting up (Which was only 10 minutes, but they could have closed the door behind them, since it's just below freezing out;) they gouged a corner of drywall, they left some trash (they picked up most, but were in such a hurry, they missed some.) And the most inconvenient part of the delivery was that after they put the mattress on the adjustable base, and I told them it was a little high, instead of removing the mattress and lowering the base, they told me how to do it and left. They were gone at 8:20am. (That's TEN minutes BEFORE their appointment window started. When I lifted the mattress off the base, and lifted the base up to lower it, I found a bunch of styrofoam pieces on the rug. We have cats, so it would have been nice to be able to vacuum after they unpacked everything to prevent them from eating styrofoam pieces under a bed. AND you have to unscrew leg segments to make it shorter or taller, and I couldn't untwist the leg segments to save my life. I tried clamps, wrenches, hammers, nothing. We called, and were told we'd have to wait until the store opened at 10am to schedule another service appointment. So now I have a disheveled house, I have to go back to work. Worst service ever. You're better off doing it yourself. read more

In 2003 my girlfriend and I noticed severe sagging in the middle within 12 months of purchasing a $800 mattress from this company. When we laid in it, we both rolled to the middle of the bed because the bed was like a valley. WE called and complained and a guy came out and measured it with a string across and said he didn't see any sagging. We laughed and asked him to please lie down in it. He refused and said it would not be covered and all they could offer was $50 credit towards a new one. Total BS. A mattress should last 10-20 years (20 if you get the kind that you can flip and sleep on both sides). This company is the worst mattress company in the world. Buyer beware. read more

This review is really for Furniture Row, but inclusive of Denver Mattress ... and it's not my review, it's my sister's, but she doesn't Yelp. Hold on ... Yep, I'm wearing my own underwear. Long story short (if you're even still here): 1. She bought my niece's beautiful white bedroom set from FR a few years ago, with the warranty. 2. She busted the bed. Gross, not that way! While moving it, the frame literally broke away from the headboard in a fugly way. Atta girl, Wonderwoman. 3. Since she needed to take advantage of the warranty anyway, my sis requested to have the desk and nightstand fixed too as their surfaces were awkwardly discolored. Pictures of all 3 items were emailed to the warranty company. 4. The warranty company representative lady, stated: a. They would replace the bed - but the design was discontinued so she'd have to pick out a different one. (mismatched expensive furniture? Does that new bed come with an old trailer?) b. The other icky items are too bad, so sad. The warranty does not cover user error. (5 year old + fancy furniture = fubar'ed) 5. At the time of purchase, my sister was told by the saleswoman that such damage was in fact covered, she noted this in her reply. 6. The warranty customer non-service chick blew her off. 7. My sister surfed the web for a higher man on the furniture pole and emailed him. 8. Chief Row called the FR Store Manager, Scott, in for back-up. 9. Scott called my sister and offered to replace the whole set, if that's what it takes. 10. My sister went into the store, let my niece pick a new bedroom, and completely furnished my nephew's room at the same time. After a recent dealing with Best Buy's CC team and being told to just go buy what I needed somewhere else, I can't help but be super stoked to know that there are still retailers around that can do basic math. One pissed off customer CAN equate to multiple lost sales, particularly in a rebounding economy. Scott spoke to my sister like she was a real person, not customer #4,554,234, and he cut to the customer-serving chase instead of wasting anyone's time fox trotting around the mattress. Nathan from the Littleton store went above and WAY beyond expectations! He was wonderful to work with in the store. Usually that is where it ends. I live in Florida, and scheduled delivery for the last day of my visit to my new Colorado condo, and my mattress set never made it onto the truck. My good friend (Laurie) said she would be available to accept delivery for the the day we were told they could deliver it, but only between 1-5pm. This morning they called to say they would be there between 8-12 noon. Duh. Laurie was unavailable for the delivery as told. This afternoon, Nathan got another set and drove it to Castle Rock, navigated a parking lot that was being re-paved, and carried it up to the third floor to make this customer happy! I had everything delivered yesterday and HATE the height of my new bed due to the box spring. when we walked in the door we were greeted by a nice salesman. he was new so he didnt know his product very well. the prices at this place were much higher than that of mattress king. they offered to match my price at mattress king but mattress king did a much better job on the selling part so i went their to purchase. i really didnt like the fact that this place donates money to tim tebows foundation. that foundation is not a good business pratice as it discrinates towards groups of people. read more
