"American Breakfast" this was very good. Loved the bread and bacon the most
    Joanna R.

Service was excellent. Very attentive and kind. Didn't hover and did a great job checking in on me, a couple of times. It was a busy morning there, however, I didn't feel rushed out, as I was working while waiting for my flight to start boarding nearby. I made sure to give a cash tip, beyond my company's policy, as I felt like I was cutting in her ability to earn cash. She seemed grateful and tried to refuse, however, I wasn't having it, she earned it and could see she was working really hard to provide good customer service to all of the tables she was serving nearby. The restaurant was clean and tidy, as tidy as a high traffic airport restaurant could be. The menu is straight forward. It was like quality fast-food breakfast. I enjoyed it, not too greasy or heavy nor too salty. The bread was surprisingly delicious and perfectly toasted. The bacon was nice thick cut bacon. YUM!!! It was roomier than most restaurants, with luggage everywhere. One thing...it was SOOO HOT and I even saw the staff fanning themselves with the menus in between serving customers. Overall good experience. If I fly through here again, I will come back.

We had great service from Marisa at Denver Central Market! She made our experience very pleasurable. We had fries and drinks before our flight which were both good. This is a great place to check out. The vibe is laid back with several TVs.

Great service! My bartender did a great job with the food recommendation. I am getting a smoke Gouda and turkey sandwich to go with my Angry Orchard. Sandwich was delicious. Toasted, Dijon mustard with fig spread, arugula, Gouda and smoked turkey on a toasted baguette! I was still hungry and decided I needed a Tanqueray and tonic when I saw my bartender make one.

I came here yesterday on the way to Nebraska. Usually, I order the hamburger and fries when I sit down. I ended up ordering a bacon burrito to go. I didn't have too much time till my flight was ready to go out. It was a good-sized portion filled with bacon, eggs, cheese, potatoes, and salsa. It was wrapped up good and was still warm for when I ate it on the airplane! I also ordered a bottle of water. Burrito was $9.95, good price for nowadays. Water $3.25 a little high. $14 for both items total at self check out. Glad the nice counter lady told me about the burrito as a quick option. This restaurant always clean. When I sit in, I will order at the counter from now on instead of being waited on. Good vibe here and you can watch sports while eating. I definitely will be back. Give them a try if you are passing through!

Date of visit: July 17 2023 While on an extended layover in Denver, I needed to find a place to set up shop for a bit and take some calls, preferably a high top table so I could stand if I wanted to after being on a flight for awhile. The Denver Central Market was just the place to do this. There were a few higher tables and it was quiet enough that I could spread out a bit and get things done. I grabbed a piece of pizza and a Naked Juice and was able to get quite a bit done with minimal interruption. I have to go three stars here though, as the pizza was not very good and gave me serious indigestion later in the day. The pepperoni on it was insanely over-seasoned, think they were trying to mask the lack of sauce and/or flavor in the sauce but I was not feeling all that hot afterwards and wouldn't recommend that.

Traveling with the fambam to Houston and we had a mad 8+hr layover at Denver. I just want a cup of hot tea and the coffee shops (specially the ones in the middle of the path) charge an arm and a leg! Glad to find this shop as it is so far, the cheapest at $3.50 for a cup of hot water and a packet of Bigelow Green Tea. Sigh.

The prime rib was for my birthday dinner so my husband left his phone number with them. He received a call later that day asking if the prime rib should be fresh or frozen. We went together for pick up. The person who helped us when through the entire smoker bundle to show us the contents and then got the rib roast. Everything was well packaged and arranged. Even though it was the Friday before a religious holiday, and many folks were picking things up, it did not take long for us to get our order, pay and be on our way. Celebrated a big business success recently and decided to go whole hog (is that even a saying these…read moredays?:) on a dining-extravaganza. Decided on A5 because 1) it's got some great appetizers / starters, 2) love the servers there, and 3) was in the mood to chow down on a hunka-chunka serious steak, and for the first time get a tomahawk slab o' beef that I had seen before on the A5 menu. Came in early on a Thursday night (6:15 pm) so the place was losing its happy hour crowd and had not yet been swooped down on by the hip dinner crowd. A great time to go. Could not have been better. Started with their crab and shrimp dip app and Japanese milk bread, both of which are stand-out non-steak items on their menu. Ordered the tomahawk steak which is ridiculously large (over 40 ounces (10 of which is from the large rib bone)) and ridiculously good (and ridiculously expensive . . . as in like over $225), along with an order of asparagus. Loved it all. Of course, we split the steak and had no room for dessert. Brought home probably 10 ounces of meat along with some other leftovers which will give us another night of good at-home eating. Bottom line . . . wonderful experience. Pricey but they made it a true celebration for us and it was well worth it. Go. You'll have a great time there, and if you don't want to blow a bundle and its your first time at A5, check them out at happy hour. It's probably the best deal for the best HH food in Denver.

Very cool!! The food was good but not great. For the price, I'd expect something a little better but the beef tenderloin was cooked exactly the way I ordered it (complete with peppercorn crust). It was tender but maybe a bit dryer than I like for a filet. The peppercorn crust was amazing! The Saratoga chips are made in house and they are very good as well. Super crispy with the right amount of salt. We got a history lesson from one of the servers, about 10min worth of backstory about the restaurant and it was almost like dinner and a show. Parking is a bit tight if they're busy but it's downtown Denver so that's typical. Other than the price being a bit high for the quality, this place is a good time and a good meal.

This was by far the worst part of our trip to Denver... be warned. Parking: There is free parking in the back of the building. When we first walked in we were greeted and brought to our reserved tables upstairs. If you decide to try this place, get a reservation and do downstairs. There is so much more to look at downstairs! Instead, we were brought to a backroom that was much cooler(in temp) and had way less to look at... we felt "put into the corner." It was busy, and it appeared they were short staffed. It took a long time for our server to get to us. She was very sweet and I definitely felt for her, she was really trying! However, it took awhile to get our drinks, the complimentary bread came out after our appetizer and house salads... anything complimentary should come out right away. The food: We got the Rocky Mountain oysters and I actually thought they were good! The cocktail sauce is very tomato forward and the "horseradish sauce" was a joke! There was absolutely no flavor and I am convinced it was just sour cream! If you do order these, ask for their ranch- it was dill flavored and delicious! The house salad was good But wet... like I had water on my plate. If you want a Caesar Salad it will cost an extra 7.50!!!!!!!!! Why!? That doesn't make any sense! The complimentary sourdough was good but the whipped butter had no taste at all... we had to sprinkle some salt on it for it to actually taste decent. We got the New York strip 16oz and the Elk steaks. The New York strip was the worst steak we have ever had! It was supposed to be cooked to a medium but was definitely closer to a medium rare. The butter on top did not have any flavor and was pointless. It had a fair amount of fat on it and the crust tasted "ashy" to us. It was expensive so we ate it, but terrible! The mashed potatoes were not mashed well! I had a whole potato in it! The veggies were mushy and overcooked. The elk steaks were actually very good! I would recommend that! The wild rice was brown rice with a few wild rice pieces... and again mushy veggies! The total price for one alcoholic drink, one bottled soda, a half order of Rocky Mountain oysters, the New York strip and elk steaks was over $200 with tip. We went to the restrooms afterwards and they were disgusting and dirty! If we are spending over $200 on a meal it better be great service, food and ambiance! This missed the mark HEAVILY! If you do feel the need to go here, get a table downstairs, make a reservation, get the Rocky Mountain oysters with the dill ranch and the elk steaks.
