After doing research on YouTube, I've discovered that I'd like to go with dentures for 3 reasons: 1) It's a non-invasive solution to fill in my missing teeth, without grinding down my existing healthy teeth. 2) Cavities can form underneath caps, which may result in a loss of the tooth. 3) Price.

So now it's time to leave, and the dental assistant didn't know what to do with my insurance. Crowns look great, but what's underneath doesn't…read more After their initial root canal and crown (done wrong), I ended up with a year-long infection that eventually required an apicoectomy and then a full root canal redo by an endodontist -- who was shocked they had let it go so long (more than a year) and hadn't caught, on imaging, that the entire root canal seal had failed and was leaking. Right after the crowns were placed more than a year ago, I called them in urgent pain -- but they didn't answer for a full week because of "phone issues." In desperation, I went to a 24/7 dentist who misdiagnosed me. When they finally answered the next day, I went back because they knew my case and I didn't want to risk losing my new crowns. They loaded me with antibiotics, did the apicoectomy, and gave me a free bottle of "fairy dust" mouthwash, assuring me that time would help. It didn't. They could have caught this much earlier with proper imaging like an MRI and a timely referral to an endodontist. Instead, it was delay after delay, unnecessary procedures, and more pain than I should have endured. I will not be returning. I paid a lot of money for a nice crown with a hole in it.

Normally when my teeth feel like this it involves a root canal and a crown and about $4,000. I was dreading that possibility. Dr Larsen knew what to do. Part of an old crown had broken away leaving my nerve exposed. He filled in the missing part with a white filling material. He was like a Master Painter as he worked to make it blend in. Tonight I'm back to chewing ice and drinking cold drinks. My Cost with insurance was a 10th of what I was expecting. What I know is Dr Larsen is a kind and experienced Dentist. He has seen it all. He was just what I needed so now I have a new Dentist I can trust again. You have no idea what a relief this is to me. We told the front desk this and they gave us his costs. I paid the bill before I left the office. We were supposed to return after having a root canal. We did not. The endodontist told us to find an alternate dentist to finish the crown. Weeks later we received a bill for hundreds of dollars. The front desk receptionist was rude and dismissive. Stay away!!

While Dr.Young did great work with the actual process of getting the implants put in, the billing situation was as sharp as a root canal without the Novocain. My bill looked like a tax return and didn't resemble the costs that were agreed upon prior to this process kicking off. They refused to bill my insurance (for about 6 months until I asked my insurance provider reached out to them) for reasons unknown, did not provide procedure codes upo request, and were genuinely the worst to work with. The individual who runs their billing takes the cake for being the most confident yet least knowledgeable person in regard to how insurance works and exactly what they will and will not cover. Luckily my provider was able to have a 1:1 session with her to (hopefully but unlikely) get her up to speed on best billing practices moving forward. She's extremely rude and becomes increasingly so as you call her on her shady and unethical practices. I'm sure there will be some cutesy reply to this placing all the blame on me but at the end of the day I hope I can dissuade at least one person from going through what I went through with this place. However, if you ever find yourself needing any kind of documents or papers regarding the work done on you, or any service/ Detailed information or help, don't expect much! Honestly, I felt like I was just begging for the greatest favor ever when all I needed was a note from a doctor and/ or signature to prove that all my work was done so I could send that to an institution that requested that from me for other personal purposes (which were clearly stated to staff in the moment of my request). When that couldn't be granted, I had to come up with alternatives myself seeing if I could get them to also tell me what other way(s) I could get what I needed, which was a totally reasonable request (a completion document/paper, something to prove that I'd finished all the work from my treatment plan) and it would VERY likely be granted were it a common private dental clinic). They simply responded with a dry "no" several times to some of my questions. no why's, no alternatives, no explanations, and no willingness at all to provide the service requested in a manner that would suit *their* policy (whatever that was, because since they wouldn't explain it to me, I honestly don't even know - not even if there's any policy regarding that subject) and what I requested, in the most balanced way possible. Unfortunately, with lack of information, even though I was continuously trying to find a solution with then, I was the only one doing so, which led to me having no solution at all. So that was very frustrating, and made me not want to rely on their services anymore, because now I know that if I ever need anything from them that isn't just a dentist appointment, I may be very much neglected and let down.

This has to be used by March 31,2021 so call them soon. I have had a full exam, my teeth cleaned better than they ever have and one cavity filled. I haven't paid a dime because this care all fell under the $250 coupon that you have to print and take with you. To get all of this done I had to do three separate visits which was the only frustrating thing. Each visit is just over an hour but it was hard missing that much work. These future Dentists have Professionals that monitor their work and make sure they did everything right. All of the students come from all over the United States. So far my favorite Future Dentist is going to practice in Miami. I guess I'll have to move there when he gets his practice going because he was the best. If you need some work on your teeth call them.
