I noticed the cleanliness and the smell was not of a typical dental office, it smelled nice. The front desk staff is friendly and nice. The office is very professional. I like the setting. This location is constantly changing personnel, and you always see new people for cleaning, as well as Doctors. But,,,, More importantly.... They are the The "Master" of up-selling additional cost of special gum medicine or other products that your insurance doesn't cover. The last time I was there, they told me I had 3 cavities (covered by my insurance) and also should buy a special product to improve the enamel on my teeth that would cost me extra. This didn't make sense to me since I just got my teeth cleaned within the past 6 months with NO cavities. I got my teeth cleaned, and decided to see my Son In Law Dentist in New Jersey, while on vacation. Guess what he found? NO CAVITIES. I don't trust this company, especially after going there for well over a year with several questionable, and BAD experiences. read more

I wish I could give this place more starts. The customer service is great, buttt! My appointment was at 4:45 I arrived 10 min earlier because I read on yelp how waits can be long, it is now 6:34 and I'm just leaving. This Office over books themselves. My daughter took her X-rays first, they put her in another room, then it was my turn for x-rays. When I was done I went to go wait with my daughter which was another 20 min or so. I had to leave the room to wait in another room for maybe 15 min to be seen. I've never had to wait this long. If you plan on making a visit, don't plan anything else you will be here for a while. I came here for a tooth ache. The dental assistant did xrays and told me "looks like you're front teeth are bad and will be falling out"??? Like ummm okay. Then the dentist didn't say anything just that I needed some fillings. Got those done. Came back a different time for a tooth ache again. Well they said it looks like I need a root canal as she checks my previous xrays she said oh i see you've been needing it. Yet no one brought it up at my previous appts instead they wanted me to get a loan to do gum treatment? They also said my insurance didn't approve any of the gum treatments a week later I got a letter from my insurance saying I got approved for it. So instead of doing my root canal they wanted to do other treatments? So I'm trying to see how soon they could do my root canal because I'm in pain she said I have to wait until I get approved and prescribed me some meds. I ended up going to a different dentist office got a deep cleaning by my second appt I got my root canal done. They also had to fix all my fillings that I got done at dental masters and they did a deep cleaning which I never got done at dental masters either. A month and a half later they call me to tell me I finally got approved for my root canal at this office. Months later have passed and I get a call from the office to do a review about their office I was trying to tell the lady their office needed work well she didn't want to hear me out she was quick to hang up she said ok thank you and hung up on me. Oh I forgot to mention how as I'm getting my fillings done the dentist and his assistant are talking over me and he brought up how he walked out the day before leaving his patients there. Amazing dental visits!!! From day one the whole staff was very attentive and helpful; from the front desk to the back office. Dr. Tran has angel hands and is very patient & gentle. Just started coming here about a year ago, and have to say it's better than the other locations I went to go check out before I settled on this one. Sandy and kenia always make my visit here lit. They're friendliness goes a long way. They're more friends and it makes my visits there not feel like a drag. Although sometimes there can be a long wait time it's worth it coming here. They genuinely care about oral health and I am very content that they were able to provide solutions to my pain. I came In 3x this week because my gum infection was horrible and causing immense pain. The 1st time I came was in an emergency basis I was provided antibiotics and pain killers.. I thought that would make things more bearable. I was wrong I came again the next day and was given local anesthesia and stronger antibiotic. The dentist cared so much to put me out of my pain I truly loved my dentist for that. The day after that I came in for a tooth extraction and bone graft. They really made it easy for me. I am terrified of dentists so I want to give them thumbs up for the level of care they provide.. I hope to see improvement in the wait time but other than that I am happy to have came here read more

I take no pleasure in giving any small business a one star review. Prior to today's visit, my previous visit was a year and a half ago and I recall waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room to have x-rays taken, an hour or so to see the doctor, and finally, it took the doctor about 45 minutes to perform a cleaning due to oversharing the details of his personal life. For the record, I'm not complaining about the Doctor's friendliness; I would imagine most people can't afford to spend 2.5 hours at the dentist on a Saturday. That day, I promised myself to never go back. Since then, I've received monthly emails, quarterly calls, and reminders asking me to come back for a check up. I decided to give Dental Masters another chance. I made a 9AM appointment ahead of time and showed up at 8:55AM. After 10 minutes I was given the Dental questionnaire and after another 10 minutes, I was escorted to have X-rays taken. What followed was an hour and a half of waiting at the operating chair. Not once did anyone check up on me and mention that the doctor was on his way, or in any way given a courtesy update. I proceeded to the front desk and expressed that I had a 9AM appointment, I arrived on time, and that it was now 10:30AM and that no services were rendered by a doctor. The person at the front desk went after a doctor who apparently expressed that they would be with me in 10 minutes. I waited until 10:45AM (10 minutes plus a courtesy 5 additional minutes) and after realizing that no one was going to see me, I walked out. It is simply unacceptable to be kept waiting nearly 2 hours on a Saturday for a general cleaning. I can understand if a business is busy and understaffed but an appointment between a customer and a dental practice is a commitment to provide a service, conditional on the patient showing up on time. I wouldn't be as upset if someone would have periodically checked up on me but this didn't happen either. Dental Masters is very good at getting people to come in but they obviously fail to deliver on their services. I will not be returning to Dental Masters. read more

Even today's visit I was supposed to get wisdom teeth pulled. I called off work, I went to buy soups/jello/pudding etc. Spent money time. Cleaning prepping for this weekend and procedure To just walk in and ask to pay extra. The money is not the problem its why didn't you say anything before. Seriously!!!! I wish yelp had a no star or even a negative star option. This place isn't deserving of the one star. Dear reader, don't go here. In fact, you should probably stop reading this review and just skip to the next dentist office option that came up on your search list. I made an appt here for my son who needed to have a couple of cavities filled. My dental office thought it was best that he see a pediatric dentist so he could be put to sleep and avoid being traumatized. When I scheduled the appt, I asked if they put kids to sleep. Of course they said yes, and it turns out they don't. They actually heavily sedate the kids. I was annoyed that they clearly lied to us over the phone just to get us in. This of course should have been a red flag. They took more X-rays, even though they were told to contact our dental office who was gladly going to send over the X-rays, just to make a quick buck. We were given the treatment plan and scheduled an appt. my son could not eat or drink 8 hours prior to treatment. Asking this of a child is hard in my opinion. My son has a schedule and usually wakes up with an appetite of 20 men (where it all goes, I have no idea lol) Only one person was scheduled ahead of us. We were told treatment would take one hour. I got there early, the girl at the desk could not find the sign in sheet for quite a while. We watched the time fly past our actual appt and then some. I had to remind them that we were there, the receptionist, who was busy eating, seemed confused about why we were there. I could tell she knew I was annoyed and did attempt to be helpful....unfortunately it wasn't up to her. She asked my son how he was doing and he replied that he was starving. She thought it was best to start telling him about cookies, cake, and candy. I had to stop her, I mean he's hungry and you're talking about food? The dentist walks over and tells me that they quoted too many cavities and he was only going to do small fillings.....but I'd have to come back in 2-3 hours or reschedule for another day. This is where I started seeing red :) They sent over their manager who was very unprofessional. When I explained a purpose of an appt to her, she kept going off topic. Her apology was fake, she kept snapping her finger nails on the desk. She made excuses for the time frame and said that every treatment would take two hours. That's the opposite of the information we were given at the consultation. We were told we would be out no later then 10:30-11am she also stated that they had helped 2 other kids before us and one was in treatment right now, we were second last I checked, not fourth. I can see why the front desk is so unorganized, every question I asked her was answered with something that had nothing to do with the question. While I was waiting for copies of my paperwork, I notice them rolling a wheelchair then to my horror, watched the dentist drag a kid from his arms onto the wheelchair. It was appalling. Waiting on my refund, contacted my insurance to make sure they didn't charge us for anything. I suggest you stay far away from this place as possible. I realize I've written a novel but trust me, I left a lot out. I partially blame myself, I am usually good about doing my research on doctors and dentist before I go there....this time I didn't. This place is awesome! At first I was not too sure if I should come here based on these reviews but I decided I would try it any ways and I am glad that I did. The staff is great! Very friendly and down to earth. They made me feel very comfortable and that's good because I usually go feeling tence. (minor fear of dental equipment lol) My first visit i was really impressed. I had an appt at 6 i arrived a little early for the paperwork and as soon as I was done 10mins later I was called in. So that's a plus! I was expecting to wait at least 30-1hr based on previous experiences at other dentist offices. I especially like that they are really Really spotless clean, from the front desk, to the individual areas for patients and even the restroom! (nice restroom btw) They are super organized, Modern equipment or at least up to date. The dentist/Dr was awesome !! I wish I could remember his name...( I will add it later) he was really informative, explained all my options thoroughly and very patient with all my questions. Very gentle, all thru my procedures ( yes, I am having a few ) always asked if I was ok, lol probably noticed how tence I was. he did a really good job. And cannot forget the staff! The girls are really nice. No bad attitude from anyone. If they were having a bad day, i couldnt tell. Very friendly and easy going. The xray tech is funny, he made me laugh. Time and time again they would screw up my appointment time, verifying my insurance (I managed to do it myself to prove that whatever they were doing was wrong), generally being slow and rude, leading to excessively long wait times. Going to the dentist is never easy, but somehow the people at dental masters made it as easy as possible. I had my first visit here just a month ago and they made sure not to only make me feel comfortable but get me into appointments as soon as possible to get all my dental work done! Mickey was especially helpful and nice helping me with the payment plan and answered all my questions without hesitation. Dr. Christine, Julio, Mickey and all the rest of the staff were very friendly as well. The dental hygienist was a little rough around the edges but got the job done fast! I've had many visits including getting my wisdom teeth extracted and each time has been pleasant. They also make sure to text and email you as a reminder for your appointments!
