I have a 2013 Cadillac SRX that had 4 parking lot dings in the left rear quarter panel and one in the passenger side door. My local body shop gave me a quote of $2,000 for the repair that they said would take the better part of a week. They gave me Ian's card and a terrific recommendation, saying they'd been working with him for 18 years. They suggested I call Ian, even though one of the dents was a crease that they said could be tricky to fix. I called Ian the same day and scheduled and appointment for him to come to my house in St. Helena early the following week. Ian showed up on time, quickly identified the 5 dings I'd wanted repaired, and found another one I hadn't noticed. He gave me a quote for the work which i thought was more than fair, saying that the one dent could be tricky because of where it was located. In little more than an hour, working in my driveway, Ian had expertly repaired all six dings so that you couldn't tell they'd ever existed, giving me back my car in showroom condition. The total cost was $340, which was what he'd quoted before hIe started work, and which I told Ian was a bargain, considering the outstanding quality of his work. Ian's being doing this work since 1991 and is a highly skilled professional with a unique skill set. I wouldn't trust my car, about which i'm more than a little compulsive, to just anyone, the price of failure or mediocre work being much too high. However, I won't hesitate to use Ian again, and can recommend him to anyone needing dent repair work on their cars or trucks. I have a 2017 BMW M3 that I am completely obsessed with. I spend hours every week detailing it so it stays perfect. I know this is not everyone's norm but the point is I trust very few people to work on my car and Ian at Dent Solution is one of the few. I had a very unfortunate thing happen to my M3 recently, My daughter backed into the passenger side front door and left a large and very irregular dent. Ian is not only great at customer service (answers calls promptly, arrives on time AT your location, explains what he will have to do and how long it will take), he is a WIZARD at dent repair! This is the third time I have used Ian's services on my truck. The first two times I lived in Napa, and he did an excellent job on some door dings, and a bigger dent in my right front wheel well, but this time I had a complicated two part dent on the side panel between the right rear wheel and the right rear tail light. I now live in Cool, California, but was not about to let anyone else but Ian touch my truck.... so I made the two hour trek to Napa for my scheduled appointment with him. After exactly the amount of time had passed that he had estimated it would take....the unsightly blemish on my truck was completely gone with out a trace! Although Ian didn't personally work on my repair, he went above and beyond when there really was no monetary value in his efforts to assist me. In my opinion, the gesture alone speaks volumes in the type of business he operates. Especially in today's society of "what's in it for me". I don't live in the California area. Im on the other side of the country and he was still able to assist my problem, with great results. After many body repair quotes, hours and days of research trying to find the right solution to my specific dent repair, and dis-satisfactory options, Ian was able to resolve the problem in a mere 3 hours. I can not recommend these guys enough. I'm not the type of person that leaves reviews very often but they did a truly amazing job. I had two door dings very close to each other on my brand new WRX, one of which had already been worked on by another dent repair service. The previous guy said that there was no way to fully repair the dent because it was to deep and honestly made it look only slightly better. Not more than month later I got ANOTHER ding about two inches from the first one. Not only did Dent Solution completely, and I mean COMPLETELY remove the second ding, he fixed the first dent to 100% perfect too. Just rolled off the lot perfect, I was stunned. I bought a brand new Alfa Romeo, and with 4,000 miles on it, a stray shopping cart dinged the side panel. Rather than getting too frustrated, I called Dent Solution because I knew Ian would take care of it like nothing happened. I used him before on another vehicle. My 2013 Honda Accord was hit by a rock while driving down the freeway leaving behind 2 dents and chipped paint. Ian came to the rescue.
