Took a hit by a metal rod on the highway that shattered my windshield and damaged the roof. Their work was impeccable! Totally took care of the insurance, updated me on the progress of the repairs, coordinated all the services fluently, and overall made like me feel like family. I can't recommend them enough & wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back to them anytime. read more

Loved my experience with Preferred Auto! They fixed the side of my CR-V after a hit a run and did a fantastic job! Dennis was very friendly and super helpful with all of my questions and concerns. They kept me up to date with everything and the status of my car and also finished quickly (2 weeks)! I highly highly recommend them for all of your auto body needs! read more

I had a fender bender last month and this was the only shop that would take my car! I will start with my criticisms first. Hopefully they will learn from them. Send more email communication or calls to let the customer know what is going on. Don't assume that the customer understands what they need to do to get things taken care of the way they want! Clarify by spending a little extra time making sure you let the customer know how to get exactly what they want! Not everyone understands that everything is backed up now! I was originally told that it would take 7-10 days for my car to get repaired! It took a month! They repaired my car excellent! Looks like new! read more

I contacted this place for a quote the owner told me they dont offer auto body service. Dennis if that's was the case the. Why not say you were unclear and needed more info , you sent a response that said you were UNABLE AND DIDNT OFFER THE SERVICE. Instead of responded to my review and basically looking like a liar. How did I know you needed more info you didn't request it, you blew me off . You didn't ask because you didn't want to . It was easier to just blow me off. Don't come up with the solution after the fact Dennis. I requested a quote, if the information wasnt enough all you had to do was say that, but you didn't you sent me a message saying you were unable and didn't offer the service. PS Stop contacting me Dennis you are a liar. The message is there in black and white. Directly from you Dennis saying exactly what I said you said. That makes you a dishonest liar. I'm glad I found out now and not after the fact. read more

I highly recommend you get your auto body needs done at Preferred Auto Body and Custom in Fairfield. Everyone there (Julia, Dennis, etc.) was very helpful and they did a great job fixing the back of my car. Got rear ended by a tailgating, uninsured motorist. They did a great job repairing damage under the bumper, the bumper, the rear hatch door and a quarter panel. I felt their prices were pretty average. Did it take awhile? Yes. Partly because I went on vacation but mostly because they had to find the parts in salvage as Chevy doesn't make my car anymore (Chevy HHR). I'm very happy with the work they did and will return there for any future auto body needs. read more

Definitely one of the best in the county when it comes to custom detail work. I purchased this car online In Arizona needless to say the car looked flawless online, it wasn't until it was delivered that I found a few cosmetic issues. Horacio and Rene did a complete once over on the vehicle and we discussed options. They completed some minor body work, repaired some gaping issues added another set of teeth to the grill and flawlessly repainted and cleared the entire car a beautiful shade of silver making her truly show ready read more

I brought my 2010 mustang gt here to be repainted and have a boy racer body kit installed. Most body shops don't do custom work they just want to do the insurance work. Horacio and his team did an amazing job and took every piece off and painted them individually. The kit had problems fitting but they were able to fix the issues, attach additional mounts the kit didn't come with and just go the extra mile. These guys do amazing work and I would recommend them 100%. What sold me on this body shop was the other reviews and photos of the work they did. So I'm submitting my photos so you can see the job they did. The car shines like a mirror. read more

These guys do great work and their customer service is on point. I highly recommend for body work. Matched paint perfectly.

I have brought many vehicles for repairs here. Needless to say they always do extremely well quality work! You can never tell where they did a repair and the paint longevity hasnt failed me yet! I have triple A and they have a different "in-network" bodyshop they told me to go with because they will cover "lifetime of any repairs done" including electrical components etc.... i said ok, cant hurt. Well you can tell where they did a repair because the paint is just slightly off, they forgot to put back on inner fender and mudflaps (its an outback it comes with it stock). How do i find out? Because they left screws and the components on the passenger side floor. From now on you can guarantee me a new car if i have issues with a different body shop i dont care. This bodyshop has always taken care of me, does great work and guarantees their work. I have never had to go back a 2nd time to correct anything. Always flawless from the get go! read more

I recently had my 1940 Nash Lafayette repaired at this shop. The work that was done was the best I have seen. Horacio and Renieri are masters of their craft. The sheet metal work and painting were not an easy task. After all it is a car that was built in the 1940's. The task was not a simple replace and paint. They did it right and I am very pleased and proud to tell everyone where I had the work done. I highly recommend this Preferred Auto Body. Bill read more

we recently had to have our truck bumper painted from being scratched. We chose Preferred Auto Body and Custom because they are local and a small shop. When I took the truck for an estimate I was welcomed by the owners and the receptionist. Everyone was professional, welcoming and knowledgable. They took our truck in that same week and we had it back very quickly. The work they did was wonderful. The bumper looked as it did brand new. shortly after I noticed more imperfections on the other side of the bumper and they took care of the other side well after the original work. They are professional, take great care of your vehicle and their customer service is top notch. Will certainly return if ever need any other work done. Best in town and the area. read more

Preferred Auto Body and Custom repaired my 2003 Toyota Tacoma SR 5 pickup truck in 2006. My entire front end had been damaged from me losing control hitting center divide going from Hwy 80 to Hwy 680. My good friend referred to Preferred Auto Body and Custom where they repaired entire truck, costing me over $12,000.00. Well last few years I noticed the clear coat had come off and silver paint was faded. I took the truck in for an estimate and the company starts with a 'M', and their quote was $3,200.00. The salesman kept telling we give our customers life time warranty. I made an appointment, but later decided to cancel. Anyway, I decided to take my truck back to Preferred Auto Body & Custom, and Mr. Horacio Angel reviewed paint job. He asked me to bring truck back, so his paint guy can take a look. He apologized telling me sometimes paint is defective. I returned a week later, and Horacio told me Preferred Auto Body & Custom gives their customers a 'Life Time Warranty' on all cars painted by them. He asked when can I leave my truck, so they can paint it at 'No Charge' to me. I responded I can leave it today. I picked up my truck today, and job done by PAB&C is 'Outstanding'. I gave Horacio and Team a Tip telling him lunch is on me. "It's Nice To Know There Are Some Great & Honest Companies Still." read more

In short, superb work by Horacio and his team! I never expected my beloved old 1999 Acura Integra GS-R to be restored as beautifully as it was after my unfortunate accident that destroyed my front end. The car now looks better than it did before the accident. It was obvious that Preferred Auto Body demonstrated pride in workmanship that went above and beyond what I expected. I was recommend this place by a few friends with show cars and I was very please with the work they did for my car, which is now a show car. When I first went and was trying to figure out a pearl to mix with a color they sprayed 5 different pulls on a metal fender to see how I would like it. They made sure that my paint had the effect I wanted which was a subtle gold pearl on a alpine silver base. This auto body shop is 30-40 minutes away from me, but well worth the drive for this excellent service and quality of work. I recommend this shop to everyone who wants excellent quality. read more

These guys are THE BEST. I took my Lexus IS to them a few years back and they did a fantastic job. It turned out most of the vehicle needed to be re-painted (luckily insurance covered it) and they went out of their way to make it look as good as new. They were super nice, honest, and kept me informed. They take pride in their work. They are so good that I took my car again when some jerk keyed it a few months back. Again, they were professional, timely, and did a fantastic job. It turns out my wife's Lexus SUV was rear-ended around this time as well, and again I took it there and they hooked it up like always. Car comes back looking brand new. I have recommended a couple of other people here, and would not hesitate to do so again. These guys are the best. read more

If I could give Preferred Auto Body more than 5 stars I would! They repaired my vehicle and I can honestly say it probably looks better than before the accident! They even cleaned my vehicle inside and out, so when I picked it up it was spotless, which was a nice thing for them to do! Horacio, Reneri and their team really go above and beyond! They're honest in regards to what your vehicle really needs repaired, they work hand in hand with your insurance to make the repair process so simple. They kept me informed and due to the fact that I was coming in from out of town to pick up my vehicle they even stayed open a little later to make it possible for me to pick up my car and not have to go another day without one! Honestly if you need repairs this is the place to go! From the customer service, to the quality of the repairs everything is simply above and beyond work! read more

Horacio really knows what he's doing, and he's upfront and honest. He's taken care of us a few times now, over the years, and he really takes the stress out of dealing with accidents and repairs. Susanna is great, too. She gives really good, genuine, customer service. Most recently, we took our Corolla to them. Horacio assured us it would be good as new, and he really delivered! He returned our car to us looking even better than it did when we took it to him. This auto body shop won't nickel and dime you, they won't try to pressure you in any way, and they won't exaggerate or lie for any reason, least of all to squeeze you for more than your repairs are worth. Is it possible to give six stars!? These guys are amazing, and Susanna at the front desk is a sweetheart. They're all extremely picky about detail, which so am I.
