In June I went to get an estimate to have my car painted, a dent in the rear bumper removed, and a…read morereplacement of one of the black strips on the roof because an end had come loose and I'd cut it off. Tom gave me the estimate, which I considered to be reasonable, and said the removal of the dent would cost an extra $100. Since it had been there for many years, I didn't care if it cost extra. The work was performed the final week of June. We had agreed that Tom would paint only the tops of the doors since the bottoms were in good shape, and he would put striping along the division. He painted the rest of the minivan because it was badly in need of it. When he called to tell me the car was ready, I went and picked it up. Not only had he done a great painting job, he had fabricated two strips for the roof because the original kind weren't made anymore; replaced the bumper because if the dent had been bashed out, there would have been cracks in the bumper; replaced one of the struts on the rear hatch door because the door would only stay up if the temperature was above a certain warmth; and replaced the ignition switch and made two new keys because it took multiple tries for the key to turn in the switch and he feared that I would be stuck one day. The subtle striping added class to my old vehicle. When I asked the total amount in order to make out my check, he stated the original estimate. I protested, saying that he'd made all those extra improvements that we hadn't discussed. He said, "It was an ESTIMATE!" Of course, I was more than pleased. He also gave me some touch-up paint for a few spots on the lower edges of two doors. During the entire process Tom was kind, friendly and straightforward. I didn't care what state of order or disorder the shop was in--I was impressed by the good work and that I didn't have to go out of town to have my car painted.

This spectacular team provided an experience that goes above and beyond the typical collision repair shop. The moment I walked in (a huge plus that they take walk-ins--no appointment needed!), I felt welcome. Valerie, Keith, and Josh are an incredible team who treat you more like family and friends than just customers. They are professional, prompt, quick, and genuinely kind. What really sets them apart is their dedication to quality and transparency. They use top-of-the-line equipment, and their facility offers full visibility. You can literally sit in the waiting room and watch your vehicle being worked on, which gives incredible peace of mind. If you are looking for exceptional service, high-quality work, and a team that genuinely cares, AutoCraft Collision Center is the only place to go. In my situation I had been backed into in a parking lot as I was pulling out of my spot someone else decided to pull out of theirs quickly and without looking. The corner of their SUV punched into the middle of my new Niro. The damage they did put a crater in three large pieces of the back of my car, damaged several sensors, and broke my soul as it was my first brand new car. AAA recommended these guys, and I cannot go on enough about how amazing they did. My car literally looks like I just got it off the lot again. I'll always be thankful to them.

That meant I had to look elsewhere to get the job done a second time. The first body shop, was closing down to move and would not take any business. The second was ridiculously overpriced, quoting me nearly three times as much as what Javier estimated the repair at. It was Shift'n Gears, next door that recommended Calderon's Body Repairs, now I know why. I brought the car in and his wife took the info and pictures and a day later I had received a quote. I was surprised that the estimate, so much I immediately replied with, "when can I drop it off?' It took parts of four days, but the turnaround time was quick. More importantly was the quality of the work. It honestly looked like a new car. I picked it up and it had been washed and detailed and looked great! I was very happy with the work done on the bumper and driver's door handle. Would I use Calderon's again? Hell yes! Have a '52 Studebaker that needs some new paint and a little body work and I know where I will end up taking it. Thank Javier for the amazing work!
