We had a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq that had a previous front end repair that required new part on the…read morebumper. Unfortunately, the dealership outsourced this and the body shop failed to do their job properly and the paint started to peel. Hyundai or the body shop would not cover the peeling paint. That meant I had to look elsewhere to get the job done a second time. The first body shop, was closing down to move and would not take any business. The second was ridiculously overpriced, quoting me nearly three times as much as what Javier estimated the repair at. It was Shift'n Gears, next door that recommended Calderon's Body Repairs, now I know why. I brought the car in and his wife took the info and pictures and a day later I had received a quote. I was surprised that the estimate, so much I immediately replied with, "when can I drop it off?' It took parts of four days, but the turnaround time was quick. More importantly was the quality of the work. It honestly looked like a new car. I picked it up and it had been washed and detailed and looked great! I was very happy with the work done on the bumper and driver's door handle. Would I use Calderon's again? Hell yes! I waited a couple of months until I adjusted to the new car and then started getting estimates to repair the fender. Two body shops told me the entire front fender would need to be replaced for a cost of about $2K. I found Body and Fenders doing a general search on line and I am so glad I did! Noe said he could repair it and the cost was so reasonable that I did not have to submit a claim to my insurance! The repair work and paint are perfect. Tom gave me a quote that was 5 to 10 percent better than the competition. When I explained the financial pressure that my girlfriend was under, he worked with us on which parts could be after-market and reduce the price further (at the cost of taking longer to order and ship). We worked together to find the right mix of price and speed that worked for us. I called Tom every few days for updates and he was patient and thorough with his communications with me. (Ie, he put up with me being a pain). In the end, we got exactly what we wanted at a great price, with great service. What more can you ask for. I read a negative review below that said his office was a mess. I can confirm that it's a mess and that I don't care. Rainbow is obviously a family owned shop that's been in business, happily serving local customers, for years.
