After an unfortunate hit and run along with a ~$1300 body shop estimate, decided to get a quote from Sean as Dent Pro Mobile was the highest rated Paintless Dent Removal Mobile shop in San Jose. Sean was quick in providing a quote and was able to do so via e-mail with merely photos. The scheduling of the repair took a few days and Sean was able to come by making it super convenient. After a couple hours, the car looks significantly better without having a couple panels repainted. Upon closer examination, there is a "clip" mark along with a slightly uneven rear quarter panel. The biggest highlight is that in low light, the panels aren't darker than the rest of the vehicle. After having the paint cure for the full 30 days, took the car out for a good wash and the panel looks much better, ~90% better. ...next time I have an unfortunate incident, I'll make sure to call Sean! :) read more

I needed some work done on my W204 Mercedes. Roughly 5 or 6 decent size door dings and dents needed to be repaired.(couple on the hood and doors etc.) Sean got back to me very promptly. Was serviced by Sean. The 2 stars are for communication and staying on schedule. The quality of the repair wasn't anywhere near the what I was expecting. Maybe I expected too much or what not but had I known that was what I would be getting for the price i wouldn't have even bothered and wasted both our time. I'll just let the pictures do the talking before and after and let everyone else decide if they are willing to pay $250 for this kind of quality. I will say he did seem to be in a hurry and rushed to finish and go. Was hoping it would be cheaper than discussed once I seen the work. But no so I guess it's a lesson learned for me to just do it myself. After photos were taken moments after he finished. This is only my experience I'm not saying this happens to everyone. Update: Moved up to 3 stars, Sean emailed me to attempt to work something out. I definitely respect him for that but after some thought my expectation for the outcome was unrealistic even for $250 but not 5 stars because details of the repaired weren't specific on either one of our ends and I can't justify $250 for the work that was done but I do understand that it's a business. Someone dinged my fender with their door and left a small dent and paint transfer right at the fender body line which was killing me so I needed to make sure that someone with experience could fix the dent and not be worried it was going to look rippled or something after. Sean did a good job getting a door ding out of my sister's car. It was a pretty noticeable dent right along a body line so I wasn't too sure how well it would come out via PDR, but honestly after the repair I don't think I would have ever noticed it unless I was already aware. I do think the work was a little bit rushed at first- the first pass was done in only about 20 minutes but after realizing the dent was still a bit visible Sean happily did a second pass to fully blend it in, although there was no work done to remove the paint transfer from the clear coat (a minor thing only). Like many I got blinded by the 5 star review and reached out to Dent Pro Mobile. Don't know how good their work is but poor communication and response is my experience. Sent him an inquiry, got a response asking for make and model. Provided the info and after that just crickets. Not sure if it's because he can't do the job or what, but, If you can't take 10 seconds of your day to respond to a customer than that's a red flag for me. Personally I'd look elsewhere if you care about customer service. Lesson learned is you have to look at the bad reviews versus just the "Sorted" 5 star reviews on yelp to get a clear picture of the company before trying to do business with them. Good thing is there are lots of great PDR options in the bay area so not too difficult to find someone that values your business if one doesn't. All you have to do is be diligent in your search and not choose the first ones that pop up on Yelp. read more

Honestly the interaction was fine, making an appointment was fine, but the work just wasn't worth the price. If you have a nice car and want scratches to actually go away, I say fork out the extra money to an actual body shop, or go through your insurance company. I had 3 scratches "fixed" on my car back in August 2017 and the one I am including with this review just wasn't worth the price I paid. As you can see, it doesn't look any better or different in the before and after photos. I commented on that particular scratch when the job was finished and was told that in a few days it would look better. A few days later, Sean emailed me to make sure I was completely satisfied and urged me to write a Yelp review. This was my message back to him.. "Hello there, Thanks for your email. I am satisfied with the 2 out of 3 repairs. The scratch near the gas tank doesn't look any better than before it was worked on. We did talk about how it looked the day of service and was told in a couple days it will look better; and as you can see in the picture it doesn't." Called Sean to fix a minor scratch . He ask me to send him images ( see images attached) for the area to be fixed. After he replied with a price quote of $225+ material. I had to fix it so I scheduled a time for him to come over, and he came and finished in about 15 minutes and asked for payment. The dent was very obviously still a dent and he just applied some paint over. We asked him to really fix the dent and he last temper and declined. He then went ahead chipped off the paint he applied to the car and drove away. In doing so, he actually created more damage to the car body. (See picture).
