I finally washed the car after several months of on off rain and left it on the driveway. A few hours later I took it to my destination and found a horrible dent on the driver side fender. Thinking back, my next door neighbors had people visiting and gathered in front of their house. We greeted each other when I got into our car but they never mentioned if one of their party did something or saw anything. Although I remember some of them kept looking over at me while I was doing my thing, probably because they know what they did and was hoping I would not notice. In all actuality, I'm sure it was just an accident from someone in their party who was horsing around with their kids, but to not to take ownership of what happened was really upsetting. Especially, since this happened in the middle of OUR driveway and we purposefully take great care to always park our vehicles far away from others when we are out to limit the possibility of this type of damage by careless people. Anyway, after showing pictures in a car group I'm in, the consensus was to go the Paintless Dent Removal route. From a recommendation, I went with Dent Performance. I left a message with the owner, Brad (Called him at 9:45pm when I saw the dent and was still Piping Mad), who who called me back the next morning and set an appointment for me. On the day of, he showed up as promised and went to work. Brad was very professional and knowledgeable, in his field. He noticed there were two dents in separate body lines, but also a protruding dimple from the panel being pressed against the structure underneath, which I did not initially see. This makes sense because the neighbor's guest who was looking at me most nervously was very heavy set and could have caused that kind of damage (No Proof, Just Guessing :). After the all the tapping, banging, pressing, maneuvering, heating, pulling, etc, the finished product was more than I had expected, despite what Brad had initially promised which was 90-95%. I have a Porsche Cayenne. With dents on the front and driver side front doors. The passenger side door had 3 dents and and then driver side just had 1. This guy is a cheat!! he takes parts of your car and does not replace them. He took a part from the Car when i had left it in a body shop and did not replace it when i complained it was missing. Everyone thinks he is amazing in dent repair, but be ready to see some holes in the inside of the car, since he steals those parts. NEVER EVER GET YOUR DENT REPAIRED BY THIS GUY SINCE YOU WILL HAVE TO REPAIR YOUR CAR AFTER THAT. I had a terrible experience since he does not pick my phone calls and even if he does, he does not own up for the missing parts. Just 18 days after I had bought my new car (a 2015 Forester), I discovered that someone must have hit my rear right door in a parking lot --- sigh --- there was about a 1-1/4" long vertical dent (luckily, no paint damage) right between the two horizontal lines in the car door. Not a major, major dent, but enough to bug me because it was such a new car!!! (Later on, as the car ages, I know I won't care as much about dents that happen...) I went to Service King (formerly known as Car West, which had fixed my bumper damage back in June of 2013) to get an estimate on what it might cost to fix the dent, and they referred me to Brad Treece. (Checked him out on Yelp, and he had all glowing reviews.) Called him up, and I could tell right away that he seemed extremely knowledgeable, honest, and fair (and nice). It took him around half-an-hour or so to fix it, and it was like magic. He is a perfectionist and cares about doing a quality job, and you can't even tell that there was any dent at all! The tricky thing was to fix the dent so that the two horizontal lines are back to their normal shape, as well (the dent extended into both the upper and lower lines, pushing them both out of alignment). (It was pretty fascinating to see how he does it.) It only cost me $100, which, to me, was a pretty reasonable price for the quality of the job. Now I have my new car back (at least until the next dent --- hopefully, not to come for a long, long time). I am a happy camper again. I HIGHLY recommend Brad, if you need a "paintless dent removal" guy. He comes out to your location to do the repairs, so it's super-convenient, too. He's usually pretty busy and will get me in within a few days. He always comes to my office. He inspects the whole truck, usually finding dents that I never even noticed.
