Like others, he approached me at HEB and offered to reattach my bumper that was held on with bungee cords and zip ties. Obviously, I am not overly concerned about the look of my car. This is actually the second time it needed to be reattached and I paid someone twice as much to do it the first time. I met JJ in the parking lot of my favorite grocery store. He introduced himself with a very friendly and respectful manner. I had been driving a once beautiful Lexus that now had dents and scratches on it that made me feel embarrassed and self-conscious that I hadn't taken very good care of such a fine vehicle. In the heat of a Texas summer, he came to my house and spent a few hours doing his magic. The dents and blemishes are now gone, even inspiring me to get the interior detailed. Parking lot mechanics are a known SCAM. This guy rushed up to my girlfriend in a Randall's parking lot- was pushy and insisted on doing repairs today, asked her to go see his tools in his trunk, and was generally shady. If something seems too good to be true it usually is- go to a reputable business instead these guys are con artists at best, dangerous at worst. read more

Someone ran into my car while it was parked in the lot, and dented it, scratched paint, the whole thing. Sent JJ pics, and the vin of the car to confirm paint match, and he was out the next hour to fix it. Showed up promptly, had everything he needed to pop out the dent, buff ouf the scuffs and paint correct, and the finished up with a few layers of clear coat. He even patch up some paint scratches on another part of the car (unrelated to the initial damage) free of charge! The repair looks great, dent is about 99.9% home and the paint correction was perfect, totally invisible, did a very good blending it in and buffing it so there it looks stock from the factory. There is a tiny bit of a dent if you look really close, but he asked if I would prefer to leave it or fill it with body filler, I opted to leave it as it's basically invisible unless you look right at it. Saw there were some negative reviews, I am guessing that they had more severe damage that would require much more than just popping out the dent and paint correction, if you have sever damage, don't expect a mobile dent repair service to totally reshape a whole bumper. For small-moderate dents/scratches/scuffs, JJ is the man I'll be calling for now on. Also very reasonable price as well. Thanks JJ! read more

I had a dent in the back bumper of my Honda from backing into a pole. These guys follow people with dents around and talk fast. I had been approached by several in parking lots wanting to pop that dent out. Finally surrendered to JJ. He popped the dent out in minutes for a hundred bucks. I'd give JJ with Dent Man ATX more stars if I could. When we bought a camper last week, it came with a credit card-sized dent/hole in the fiberglass door. The rain came, and we were worried that if we didn't do something quickly, we would have a big problem. We called Dent Man. JJ came out to our home, assessed the damage, and told us how he could repair the hole. After approving the repair, he began working right away. He left for a few hours while the materials cured and then returned to finish the job. He did a fantastic job! It looks so much better than we thought it would. JJ with Dent Man is the best. He saw me in my car at McDonald's and noticed I had a dent in two different places on my Mazda CX-5 and told me he could repair and repaint in the driveway of my home. It didn't take him long to do the repairs and you couldn't tell there were ever dents in my vehicle. He got the VIN # for my Mazda so he would be sure to match the paint. However, what he or I didn't know was that the paint was a tri-color which meant mixing 3 different colors including a toner which was not available due to supply constraints resulting from Covid. It took months for him to be able to get it but he never gave up and finally got it from a paint company who had just gotten the correct toner in. It really looks good. I know he lost money on this job due to buying several incorrect cans of paint which aren't cheap. He never seemed put-out or irritated which I admire greatly. I'd recommend JJ to anyone who needs dents repaired. Just be sure to ask for JJ who I know you can trust. read more

Felt predatory for the amount of work performed and the fact that he gave a free estimate and then told me that it was going to cost more to finish the repair. So he's either incompetent at providing an accurate estimate and guaging the work that needs to be done on a vehicle or he is a liar and manipulated the situation in an effort to get me to pay him more money. Either way I would not use this service again and if you happen to be so unfortunate as to be approached by him adamantly refuse to allow him near your car. read more

So good! The moment I sent photos he scheduled to come out quickly, quoted on the spot and was even prepared to start immediately. The amount that would have been paid out through a deductible or a body shop was negated and saved so much! JJ did such a good job and you can tell he's just a great guy too. J.J. approached me in a parking lot. It felt a little like an ambush, but I thought what the heck. $100. He said he could fix my dent. He popped out most of the dent but left lots of little new small convex divots and did a sloppy job with the sealer. Left primer residue on my tail light. I have taken it to 3 body shops and they all said it was a poor job. I still have to pay a body shop to fix what remains of my old dent, and now the new dents that were left after J.J's job. I do not recommend. read more
