Like a lot of guys, my car is my baby. When I found a small dent with what appeared to be a small chip in the middle, my heart sank. It was right in the seam of my rear quarter panel and was just big enough to be annoying and noticeable. I immediately did some research on Google and found Dentmasters at the top of my results. The Yelp reviews were outstanding and the before and after photos of the work performed were amazing. Considering the cost that the dealer quoted me, I thought it was a good idea to check out a place like Dentmasters. Richard was immediately ready to give me an estimate during my scheduled appointment and was also ready to do the work right after he explained what it would require. My Dodge Challenger is not the easiest car to work on, but Richard was confident it would be fixable. Within an hour, the dented area was looking brand new. Richard even buffed out the apparent chip and it turned out it was just paint from the car that dinged me. Not only did he get the dent out in a difficult spot, but he made the paint look new in the dinged area. He charged $200, which was very much worth the result (and was well under half of what the dealer would have charged me). I highly recommend Richard and Dentmasters. He is a personable guy, knows his cars, and knows how to fix dents in them. This was the fastest quote and repair I have ever experienced. read more

Fast and efficient! Someone gave me a door dent at the mall and after seen the reviews I requested a quote. Richard responded within 24 hours and gave me an appointment for the next day! I probably waited for 40 minutes. I had some hot chocolate in the waiting area. He also buffed my bumper making it look better (someone hit me in a parking lot :( ) I highly recommend him. The dent was fixed as if nothing had happened. read more

Richard did a phenomenal job on the door ding on my 2017 Camry today. He gave me an estimate based on the photos I provided. Richard not only kept within the estimate, but also got the work done within the hour and a half timeframe he gave me. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The photos speak for themselves. I was referred to Dent Hero by a body shop, and I am glad they did. I had a dent on my driver's door that I thought would be an expensive repair. I was wrong. I was able to contact Richard over the phone, and sent him some pictures of the dent. In less than 5 minutes, he gave me his input and an estimate. Fast forward to today, the dent is completely gone -- Richard did a phenomenal job! As a bonus, Richard also repaired another minor dent on my car, free of charge. I had a big vertical dent on the right front door of my 2019 Volvo XC 60. My wife wanted me to take the car to a body-shop but I wanted to try with Richard so they did not have to take off the door and end up repainting. He did an amazing job, I expected to see some of the dent, but nothing was visible. He did a great, great job. I hope I don't have to see him too many times in the future, but if I have to go back, I can do that with confidence. Thanks Richard ! read more

Somehow I managed to get 2 big dents on the front and rear of my car during the past year. I was getting tired of driving around with my car looking all ghetto like that. I found this guy on yelp, gave him a call and got a quote. He charged my $350 to fix both sides. I stopped by in the morning and about an hour later he was done. I was impressed. One of the dents was in the rear bumper corner that was hard to get out. But he did a good job. I've very happy with the time and quality of work. read more

Richard did a great job removing a tricky acorn dent from the aluminum hood of my 997. It was on the edge of the hood, and I knew it would be tough to get PDR tools to reach it because of the support frame in the way on the underside. We looked over it and he quoted $250 to remove it and said I wouldn't have to pay if he found later he couldn't reach it. I also had a smaller dent on the same hood and he quoted $100 to remove it but agreed to knock $50 off because it was on the same panel. The price wasn't the lowest I've ever paid for a difficult paintless dent removal job, but the service and quality of work was excellent. He allotted two hours for the work and I got a call two hours after the appointment time saying he was done and the car was ready to be picked up. I will be bringing more work to Dentmasters in Arlington. read more

Dent Hero - Before and after. Acorn dent at the edge of an aluminum hood and convex dent on same panel. 300$ to remove both. - Body Shops Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

Came here for one 2" dent and a nice football size dent. Rich knocked it out of the ballpark this morning on the dent and was upfront he about being unsure he could fix the larger dent (which is awesome, since shelling out cash and getting bad work product is no bueno). The 2" dent was fairly complicated as it was on the belt line of the car. Rich took an hour, brought back the car, and was good as new. Cost $200 due to area of the dent. When Rich pulled the car around, the 2" was completely gone. I was surprised when he showed me the larger dent. He spent a few minutes adjusting at no charge, and it came back looking MUCH better then before. Rich was honest and let me know he could do the work after all once he took a closer look. I'll return shortly to have completed. The shop is in the back of the Mercedes Benz dealership. And you know what? Free coffee, capoccinos, espressos, pastries (and not the crappy Holiday Inn ones), and waters while you wait. The five star ratings don't lie. Rich killed it. read more

Writing this review has been at the top of my sprawling "to do" list forever but I've never forgot about it because of how great of a job they did on my car. I'm a car guy. I have a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX - the first year WRX sold in America (the original 'bugeye' model) - that I bought new in 2002 and have driven and maintained since then. It's become pretty much a hobby car (shows, meets, etc) and I'm probably going to keep it for years to come. Regrettably 14 years of ownership had taken its toll on some of the body panels. In that time span I had accumulated door dents, a dent that a family member put into the trunk as an almost new car in 2004, and the "pièce de résistance": an 8" long indentation scoring the side of my rear quarter panel (e.g. rear side panel). Let me tell you something about quarter panel damage: it is literally the worst. It is the only exterior panel on your car that is actually seam welded to your chassis. Why? Who knows. The front fenders, doors, hood, bumpers on most modern cars all bolt on and with the right tools you could pop it off in your garage. To remove the quarter panel you have to whip out the welding tools and be a master metal worker, or otherwise pay someone that is and it is pricey. When I got that hit I was dreading taking it to a body shop for fear of the final bill, as other cars of mine have had full quarter panel replacement. I let it slide for a full year before I got the idea to try 'Paintless Dent Removal' (PDR) before a car show I planned on attending. PDR, like Dentmasters does, is the process of popping out dents using special tools without any traditional body shop work. I selected Dentmasters Arlington primarily based on their Yelp reviews. Spoke with Richard on the phone and it was really easy to set up an appointment. Richard works in the Mercedes dealership in Ballston, which means its Metro accessible -- you can drop your car off in the morning, walk 5 minutes to the metro, and you're on your way to work. My instructions to Richard for the big quarterpanel dent was "just do your best, I don't care if it's not perfect, anything that is better will do." He quoted me a price ahead of time for all the dents that was agreeable and I told him to go ahead and give it a shot. I paid by check, but I forget if that's the only way. I came back later in the day to find out that all all the dents were popped out completely - including one I missed that Richard did for free while he was in there (really nice guy!) - and the big quarter panel dent was completely gone -- 10/10 flawless. It was literally unbelievable that he was able to pop out a dent that big (see pictures as this has to be one for the record). Didn't think it could happen with PDR. Now I'm a believer. Richard is just that good. The only thing you have to understand coming in expectation-wise is that PDR can only fix 'dents' and not paint scratches or paint damage, so there was still a little clear coat scratch leftover (which was expected). My next stop will be to the car detailer to polish out the scratch and it ought to be good as new. I recommended Richard to my parents whose neighbor gives them door dings about every other day and just about anyone else I meet who mentions they are dent-ridden. I'm sure I'll be back too with parking in this city. Really great job Richard / Dentmasters Arlington! read more

I had a dent in my car from an unfortunate incident and I didn't quite know where to turn, so I began to search around the internet for an option. Once I came across RIchard at Dentmasters in Arlington, I knew he was the best person to fix my car. He was professional and responsive to every question that I had. He was able to get my car in quickly and I was out the door equally fast. He explained all of my options available and charged a very reasonable price. All in all, I was in and out in less than an hour and the dent was completely gone! You can't even tell a dent was there in the first place. Richard's performance certainly lives up to the 5 star ratings he consistently gets from his customers. If you have a dent, I highly recommend Richard at Dentmasters Arlington. Give him a call, you won't regret that decision. He found a customer for life in me. read more

I had a self-inflicted, small dent on my truck. The repair prices were so high compared to the tiny size of the dent. I toyed with the idea of a do-it-yourself kit. A random Living Social check, revealed a 50% coupon to Dentmasters. Two Virginia locations accepted the coupon. I saw Richard at the Arlington location......and, Boy am I happy!!!! The hours were flexible (my appointment was at 7:30 AM and was able to get to work on-time), the location was easy to get to and comfortable to wait (Mercedes dealership/service center on Glebe) , the service was stellar and the work was solid (Both thanks to Richard). Great experience all-around. No sign of the dent remains. I highly recommend. read more

I came here to get a dent out from the back left side panel of my car. The dent had a radius of about 6 inches so it wasn't small but not very big either. I made an appointment (very easily via email) and brought it to Richard at Dent Masters Arlington. He did a quick 2 minute estimate and then was able to get the dent out in under an hour and a half! He had to remove my back left tail light in order to use his fancy devices for dent-removal but he did everything with expertise and I have no complaints following the service. I would give Dent Masters 5 stars if they could miraculously remove all scratches as well as dents - sorry Richard, you lose one star for not having magical powers (I know, very rational). If you have a dent, don't waste your money at the dealer without consulting Dent Masters first! Your wallet will thank you. read more

This was my first trip to Dent Masters. I'm a bit OCD about my truck since I work out of it and it's more than just A to B to me. Really it's my office. I'd been using another local company (who will remain anonymous ) to fix the dents and dings one receives when driving on the nations finest roads here in DC. I was going to let a few of the small tailgate dings go but there was some slight rippling in the driver's side of the bed that was driving me a little batty. It looked like someone had leaned on it too hard so it wasn't really a dent but more like wavy or rippled metal. The truck is black so when clean and in the sun it looked horrible. The guy at the previous company I used said I was nuts and I was the only one that would notice it. Well right. I notice it and I want to give you money so I don't notice it anymore. He told me I was better off leaving it alone and it could be worse if he fooled with it. Actually he wasn't the only company that told me that. He also said that he could do my tailgate if I left it with him for a "week or two." I went on about my routine until it was time to get new tires and when I got home it looked like somebody had banged some tools into the side of it. Enter Richard. The appointment was set up for first thing in the morning and I got hung up in a little traffic and got there late. His next appointment was pulling in and he told me not to worry but he would do theirs first and still get me done. Totally understandable and my fault in the first place. He walked around the vehicle with me and I showed him every little thing that was bothering me. Again this (until the tire shop) was not really dent removal but more fine tuning of some slight creases. He didn't have a problem with my request and he understood what I wanted done. I didn't have to leave any parts with him and he was done ahead of his estimated time. He worked on 3 different areas of the truck and I'm still blown away by how smooth he got it. I mean the body on this truck is perfect and I've been on hand and knee trying to find an imperfection. Great guy, great work and a completely satisfied customer. When nobody else could or didn't want to do it Richard and DentMasters came through and the results are better than expected. It's perfect and the price was more than fair. read more

Rich Routson was the tech. Nothing short of perfection. In terms of execution, it was excellent. From start to finish. Today I went back to Richard for a second dent. Same great service! I recommend him without reservation.

Richard was very professional and he did an excellent job repairing the small (a few inches) dent on my hood. While repairing, he also found another smaller dent on my hood that I hadn't noticed and he repaired it without additional charge. Went in for an estimate around 8:30 AM and he was actually able to repair the dents right after my estimate and fit my repair into his schedule. The repair took about an hour and half and I can't even notice any dents at all on my hood. His estimate was for $200, but with the $25 Yelp coupon, bill came out to $175, which is reasonable for the quality work he did. I highly recommend him and I can tell he takes pride in his work. read more

I hardly ever write reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. When I noticed a door ding/scrape on my brand new Mercedes-Benz CLA while parked in a parking lot, my heart sank. Did some research and found that a full repair with paint job would cost me 300-500$, while the paint less dent removal would only be 100-200$. Was a little hesitant at first because I heard that after the fact (with these types of repairs) my car will never come out "factory" new. (I am VERY peculiar when it comes to quality). After calling around for quotes, I've decided to go with Richard. So I brought my car in and he did his magic. After a 90 minute wait and 150$, my car was returned back and the dent was gone; basically 99% as good as new. You REALLY have to look to find any trace of it.
