I called Guy after I scraped up the bumper of my sister-in-law's new car while parking it in our carport. He gave us a free estimate, and offered different fixes he could perform - he gave us a middle price point option and explained the pros and cons of that approach, as well as a more expensive top-of-the-line fix. I really appreciated the multiple price points and options. Because it was my sister-in-law's new car that I scraped up, I wanted to get it as close the best fix I could, so we paid for the higher price point. Guy's work was outstanding. He got the bumper back so you could not tell anything had ever happened. Even better, we saved money by going with Guy - I understand that a body shop would have charged hundreds more because taking off the bumper is a very labor-intensive task. The difference between what Guy charged and a what I understand (from an independent third party) body shop might charge was maybe $700. And the fact that he is mobile and extremely courteous and kind only adds to his amazing service. Thank you Guy. I backed into a pole and mangled my Nissan Altima number and broke the left taillight. Guy (Dent Guy) gave me a price to repair and recommended a place to purchase the taillight. I asked him to also handle the taillight for me and he made the bumper look good as new. He took it off, heated it and re-molded it to the original shape. He re-adjusted all the bent bumper brackets and remounted the bumper. He buffed out all the scratched and the bumper surface showed no signs of the accident. He found an after market light assembly but we decided to go with the Nissan replacement part to get the LED features. Guy ordered the Nissan part and installed it. You can't tell I had an accident. I'm going to get some touch up paint and ask Guy to show me how to do touch ups. He performed all the work at my home and it's educational to see how a car bumper is connected to the car. There's no substitute for experience (Guy's VAN says 35 years) and this business model makes for a much lower bill for body shop work. Give him the opportunity to recommend a solution. read more

Guy's an expert. He is straightforward, honest, and is truly concerned about making your car repair "better than new". He works diligently, with great attention to detail. My new Subaru, with less than a 1,000 miles had a bent bumper with scratches. The first "ding" and yet Guy made it "disappear"--he took out the dent, carefully sanded the scratches, matched the paint and blended it with the rest of the bumper. The quote for this repair from the auto body shop was "somewhere between $850-$1200". Rubbish. Guy came and completed the work in 4 hours at less than $250, with materials. After my cabana boy ran into a couple of sheister guys who claimed that they could repaint a few dents in the bumper of my 2003 Mercedes, which is red by the way, in the Safeway parking lot, he drove home with a really bad paint job. In need of a repair to that job, I was reluctant to trust an independent guy, but Guy was the perfect answer!! Upon checking prices at body shops, we came back to Guy, and am so glad we did. His work is perfect, the colors matched -difficult in reds- and he was very professional in all aspects. Now my not so vintage beloved car "Baby" looks great and of course, runs better too. Someone backed into me in a parking lot, leaving a huge, deep dent in the body of the back right door of my car. I had several dent repair folks look at it, and they said it would be very expensive and difficult to fix--a few told me they couldn't remove the dent, and I was referred to a body shop to have the entire door replaced. I'm currently in graduate school, and I definitely couldn't afford to take the car to a body shop. Fortunately, I found Guy here on Yelp, and he literally did the impossible. He made the entire door look as good as new in one day, he gave me an excellent price, and he even drove me to class after I dropped my car off!! Guy came to my house and repaired two badly dented bumpers. He was thorough and took care to get everything as perfect as possible. He cares about doing a good job and communicates clearly with clients. When he was done, you could hardly tell there had ever been a problem. Only a few scratches remained. I drove all the way down from Northern Canada on a road trip. We are driving an older VW imported van that needed a new windshield that no one wanted to touch due to the condition of the frame and channels. When I found the glass needed to get my windshield replaced Guy was the one they recommended to do the body work around the frame. Guy came to the home depot parking lot and for two days rebuilt the rusted sections of my frame, then primed and painted it. All of this in a damn parking lot. Guy was awesome! When I got a dent in the fender of my BMW other body shops said it couldn't be repaired but had to be replaced. Guy proved them wrong. Within a day he had beaten out the dent to a point where there was only a very slightly uneven surface left. In just one more day he had finished it off to the point where there is no way to tell there was ever any damage. Guy took the time to explain what he was going to do and how the process worked and how he calculated his costs to come up with a fair price for old world workmanship. Guy did a great job fixing my fender bender and saved me about $1200. from what the body shop would charge to replace the bumper with a fairly big dent. Prompt, efficient, honest, good value. He comes to your house after meeting in a public spot to inspect and give you a bid. He went above and beyond the call of duty to get my situation resolved when we had to order a connecting bracket, he came back again to finish the job.
