We are new to the area, it was our second time there. Took us 15 minutes to get seated. We ordered T-bone steak and eggs. We waited a half an hour and considered leaving as we still didn't have our food. The waitress came over and told us they ran out of T-bone steaks but would substitute sirloin steak instead for lower price. We waited 15 minutes more and got our order. Why it took a half an hour to tell us they ran out of t bones then waited 15 more for our order is beyond me! Also, The water is terrible---their excuse is "Yuma water is bad" If you go there, be prepared to WAIT. At least we get a 15% discount with AARP and the waitress was nice. read more

I was very disappointed with our recent breakfast at Denny's. The hash browns were not brown, meaning they were undercooked and cool besides. Eggs were overcooked. Service was ok. Too many good breakfast places to settle for Denny's mediocrity !! read more

They have the most amazing crepes. Ive had good service, the food is freshly made and cooked properly.

I was expecting the worst when I came here due to other reviews but it's really not bad at all. I had Marcela as my server and she was very kind and efficient. I could see how having other waitress' would make you have a negative experience. I just got to hear all of their work gossip from the tall blonde.. It's not what I want to hear while eating breakfast. She could've been more self aware of who was around at that time. Will request Marcela from now on. read more

The food is good. The service from the older woman with short gray hair that works late nights is not the best. EVERYTHING bothered her that night, and we were her only customers. From what my husband and I ordered, to asking for silverware. Our food order came out wrong and that also annoyed her, but we didn't want to inconvenience her anymore. Typical Denny's.... slow service.. greasy hash browns. Stood at the Host Station for about 10 min, before anyone showed up to seat us.

Don't know why I come here. This is the 3rd or 4th time and it's always something. Today they cleaned the table and left it soaking wet. We've been here 30 minutes and no food. To make it worse the place is only 3/4 full. Hope someone slaps me the next time I even think about coming here. read more

Normally we have good service here. In the last 6 months we eaten here about 10 times, of those, 3 were not as we expected. Some of the issues Salmon dry and served cold Waiting over an hour for food, not a full house We have had to ask for refills on drinks As a whole..... they do good. I love this place! It is convenient, food is good to great, and the restroom is clean, as well as the dining area. I have a favorite waitress, Kimberly, who always takes the best care of my wife and I. My coffee cup is always filled BEFORE it is empty. This even happens on Sunday mornings, which is the busiest time. If you are wanting good food at a reasonable price, then this Denny's is a great place to visit. read more

I've gotten breakfast and lunch here and it was all good. Eggs as I asked , bacon so crispy it almost broke from looking at it. The hash browns were great and so were the pancakes. I asked for french fries instead of hash browns once and got them, the waitress said no problem or extra charge. I got the cheese burger twice, the first one I didn't know it was a double burger and almost couldn't finish it. I am a big eater . The 2nd one had a bourbon sauce on it that was one of the best I ever tasted. Suggested they need to bottle and sell it retail. read more

Very poor service @ Fortuna Road in Yuma, AZ..... repeatedly. We are done with this restaurant. Yesterday we were seated right away; didn't seem to be much business at 7am. Person who seated us gave us menus and walked away. We expected to give our drink order while seating but that was not to be. While waiting for the server to arrive, three other tables/booths were seated with menus, no drinks. After we waited about eight to ten minutes, the woman server started taking the order of another table who was seated after us. We decided that if she didn't wait on us next, we would leave. After a long time, the waitress provided drinks to the above table and then went to another table to take their order who arrived after us. We got up to leave and as we are walking toward the door, the waitress gave us "the look", shrugged her shoulders and continued to glare. As we walked out, I stated, loudly, that it was too late and the waiting was too long. This is the third time this has happened to us in this particular Dennys over the past month.This has not happened to us in other Dennys we have gone to. We enjoy Dennys variety and quality of food served and generally find service to be acceptable. This Dennys has been acceptable in months/years past, but has dropped in performance of service of late. read more

Went last night with coupon we received in the mail. Newly remolded, but that is where the satisfaction ends. Food was mediocre and service was below par. I ordered the chicken avocado salad and had to look hard for the four very thinly sliced avocado pieces and few pieces of chicken. Nothing close to the picture on the menu. Very disappointed for the salad that cost $9.99. I was told there is only four slices if avocado allowed. Not even four pieces were put on. read more

best breakfast in the Foothills. The grand slamwich was very filling and good.the hashbrowns were excellent,so were the pancake puppies.

Dennys Foothills Yuma. We took a chance once again and problems again. We ordered and since there was hardly any other customers, we thought the food shouldn't take long to arrive. Wrong, about 30 minutes later we received our food. I ordered eggs over hard but the waitress thought the runny eggs was okay ! Never offered a replacement either. Oh ya ! The main problem was the whole plate with bacon, sausage and eggs was floating in cooking oil. Took a couple of napkins to mop up most of it. Waitress saw the napkins with the oil but didn't seem to care. Never was asked about a drink refill even thought our glasses were near the edge of the table, empty. Since there was just a few customers we waited for the check, another 15 minutes or so my wife departed for the grocery store close by as she got tired of waiting. The waitress came by and asking if we wanted anything more, guess she didn't notice my wife was long gone earlier. Since I paid by credit card, the check out gal wanted to know if i wanted to add a tip ! I don't have to tell you what I said. If this Dennys was not nearby the freeway they sure couldn't make do with us folks that live here all year long, I know as I have chatted with neighbors and most do not like this Foothills Dennys. We have had a meal or two at the Yuma Dennys in town, never a problem so if we have a desire for Dennys, we will go into town. read more

I had to listen to a 5 min conversation, not work related, between the mgr. & staff while waiting to be seated. During this hilarious conversation, a waitress peeked around the partial wall to see if anyone needed to be seated, when she saw me, instead coming to seat me, she returned to her spot behind the wall. She was not alone. Only 1 waitress was actually working. When this restaurant representative (cough cough) finally came to seat me, I was angry & told her NEVER MIND & left for another restaurant. People that I know have since then told me how rude & terrible the service is there & like me, they will never go back to that location. It is worth the 20 min drive to go to the Denny's in town. read more
