With the cornbread they used to give you a big square of homemade cornbread but now you get a little muffin shaped piece about 2" in diameter and hard as a rock (see photo). The pulled pork tasted bad and after about five minutes after I was done, it hit my stomach and I got very sick. Luckily there is a Family Dollar store across the street and I went there and bought some Imodium. Had to stick around and use Bonnie Blue's restroom twice before felt comfortable enough to make the 45 minute drive back to my home. Got home and felt so bad that I went straight to bed. Eventually he made our bagels, put them in cardboard baskets, covered them with aluminum foil (not sure why we needed that cardboard waste -- would have been happy with my bagel just wrapped in foil), covered them with paper towels, put them each in separate paper bags, and placed them on the counter while calling our names (even though we were the only people in the place and he had confirmed he knew who we were when he received the order). I'm always tempted to order another cup of their sausage gravy and chipped beef gravy to take home it's that good. I've had the gravy on fresh homemade biscuits and a plate size pancake. We like the chunky home fries and the country ham and cheese omelette and I would specify how well done you want your omelette. For a lunch I liked the hot roast beef sandwich with real mashed potatoes and gravy and a normal appetite sized cheeseburger. I definitely prefer to skip the chain food with the higher prices and take a downtown mall stroll to the OTD.
