I was feeling adventurous, (honestly it was pure laziness cause I didn't feel like going out of my way to one of my regular hangouts) so I stopped in at Dennys. Yes, Dennys. :-/ For some reason the parking lot was packed and so was the restaurant. I was seated after a short wait. The restaurant was fairly clean considering the crowd. Certain nothing fancy here, just plain basic American food served with no frills, kinda like an edible motel 6. You pays yer money, ya take the ride. I ordered a Belgium slam, waffle, two eggs scrambled (since when do scrambled eggs consist of an omelet with no filling, nothing scrambled, but I digress) two strips of bacon and two sausage links. The eggs, although folded on to itself and not scrambled, tasted fine. The sausage links were decent, the bacon barely edible. I don't know where Dennys gets their bacon but I suspect it may be the same supplier that is used by Taco Bell for their meat. Barely fit for prisoners or feed for livestock. The waffle was actually okay, crispy without being overcooked and not doughy. I would rate it as adequate... Nothing special but what you would expect a waffle should be. Coffee... Well, for some reason I like Dennys coffee, it's subjective, I know. Don't hurt me. Service was actually quite good. Jordan regularly checked in, kept the coffee coming, offered a smile, and generally took pretty good care of the table despite the place being busy. We decided to go here instead of Smitty's up the street. Just being waited on to get a table took more effort than it should have. Service was super slow all around. They brought the adult meals before the kids meals. Never have had that happen before. The kids still had to wait for food. I normally love Denny's....but not this location. Food was meh. Nothing to rave about. Next time we will just got to Smitty's. Even when they are busy they at least acknowledge you and speed things along. Don't waste your time.....I'd say money too but I also value my time. So much time wasted this morning...I could have made breakfast at home and my food and service would have been better and quicker. read more

Took the kids here for breakfast..they LOVED the Rudolph Pancake!! Also paid a little extra for a Rudolph cup that came with a Rudolph-Ear'd headband and red nose! The kids had a blast! The customer service was excellent! The only down fall, personally, was the crowded seating..but typical with this type of establishment! read more

Waitress was prompt, accurate and attentive. My salmon was the worst I have ever been served. Was not a quality salmon to start (Denny's- Try Costco and compare the quality) but also VERY overcooked. ALWAYS great, prompt service when I've eaten here while in Wenatchee for work. Food is your typical Denny's fare, you really just need to know what you like on the menu and what to avoid. Super friendly staff whenever I've gone. Great place to get in, get your food pretty quick, and get out for not a lot of $$$. Always pretty clean. read more

Usually we are a fan of Denny's but not this one. This was By far the slowest service out of any breakfast restaurant I have ever been to in Washington. We called in an order for a hamburger and Pancakes and they told us it would be a 10 minute wait. We showed up 15 minutes later only to be told that our food was not yet ready and we should wait in the lobby. The food took an additional 30 minutes once we reached the restaurant just to get out to us! Needless to say We were outraged and will never be back to this location. read more

The food was ok, its dennys, you get what you pay for. The service was fine. However, the manager Maria, is very unprofessional, not personable, and we witnessed her being semi rude and unprofessional to another customer. She took her sweet time cleaning tables and doing other things besides seating and cashing out customers. With only 2 servers on the floor, the manager should've been more involved with ensuring food, that was sitting in the window, was getting to the customers promptly. Went in for breakfast around 8:45AM Monday 7/11/16. Place was a busy but not packed and no waiting to get seated. Glanced at my phone when I sat down so I noted the time. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food, the food was still really good but the waitress was so disrespectful. Not once did she smile, she brought me two different glasses of water that were dirty and had black things floating in them, and the silverware was dirty, you could see finger prints on everything. The AC was leaking so bad that the floor was all soaking wet, they used the same lid for the containers that they make smoothies and milkshakes in. So if they made a smoothie or milkshake that had peanuts in it, then used the same lid for another drink, someone could get very sick off that. Poached eggs should be cooked soft and shells should not be included in bowl. If toast is ordered it should be served. If English muffins are ordered they should be served with meal not after. I didn't get food. But I'd rate my experience 0 stars. I was here for an interview. I'm 19 and was discriminated against for my age and religion by the owner Irene. The overall interview was very unprofessional on Irene's part. And she embarrassed and offened me when she asked me during the interview, " Are you on something!?!" She asked because my eyes were dilated due to the dark lighting. According to my aunt who works for HR told me that is an illegal question to ask. I wanted to get up and just leave. I was so so embarrassed. I also have a tattoo on my wrist related to God which I had showed her and after I explained to her what is meant she said "Tattoos are offensive and embarrassing and people should just not get them" That really hurt my feelings. I was really excited for this interview and it just instantly faded away. I was pissed and she even told me to smile because as a hostess (which was what I was applying for) I'm the fave everyone first sees. Well Irene, your face is one I don't want to see. Thank you for your insults and judgments...my entire family will be calling you shorty and will have tons to say. I will be emailing corporate about this...Apparently to Irene I'm just a 19 that knows absolutely nothing. I may not be as wise as you but times have changed and I am no where near as judgmental and discriminating as you Irene. And for the record, I've has a year in a half of experience in the food industry and I would've made everyone at Denny's feel welcome. I don't usually eat at Denny's, but thought I would try it for breakfast this morning. Very impressive! The waitress, Cher, was all smiles and briskness, even though she was serving a huge crowd. The manager was out greeting guests by name and even clearing dishes and wiping tables - also all smiles. I ordered something not on the regular menu, but it didn't phase anyone. The food was served quickly and my eggs were cooked perfectly (which isn't always the case in other places I've eaten.) Well done Wenatchee Denny's! Breakfast at Denny's is great. Too bad I don't care about breakfast. Dinner items, on the other hand, are hit and miss. Had a spaghetti meatballs that was ridiculously dry. Hamburgers don't hold together, whether you order one from the menu or make one yourself. Chicken strips are heavily breaded and dry. The fries are great, though, I have to give them that. We walked in on a Saturday morning with a group of 18 people. The diner was already hopping and busy. The staff greeted us with a smile and were beyond accommodating the entire time we were there. We had one waitress and she ran the whole time we were there, I couldn't imagine doing her job, getting questions and requests from 18 people all at once and she did it, happily. My grandparents wanted to go back the next day as well, just with the 4 of us and while she wasn't our waitress, we experienced the same joyful treatment as we had the day before. The manager was there both days, very nice man and you could see he was there to support his staff and make sure customers were happy. When my grandma had mentioned she forgot to give her discount card for the check the day before, he gave us double the discount on Sunday's check to make up for it. I went to Denny's this AM w my adult autistic son & service animal designated by my physician.I had been to this locations under the same circumstances many times before.Can't say that I will return.This time, there were only 2 staff present, the cook &waitress. Thin-ish middle-aged blonde. I came in with my walker, my service animal in the basket of my walker.&moved my animal next to me on the bench as I always do. The waitress seated us at a booth and provided our drinks, soda and cocoa, gave us menus.When she came back to take our order she instantly changed her attitude&behavior to hostile, rude, loud,&unprofessional practically yelling at me that she would not take our order until I got my dog out of there. Refused to provide service. Tried to humiliate me. Refused to provide written policy against my service animal being there, though stated there is one but the manger has it and the manager is not there. She came back to the table with the same rude, loud hostile attitude several times. It wasn't until another waitress came in that she acted normal, even offered to refill our drinks, stark difference now that there was a witness. When I went to leave, she tried to not have me pay. No thank you, I pay what I purchased. I am a professional woman that travels with my service animal a lot. Never have I had any person for any reason treat me in this way. She never even considered the service animal rights and laws that protect me. She stated she was not going to loose her job over me by letting the animal stay, I tried to tell her that in fact it was quiet the opposite, she would not allow me speak without raising her voice and flailing her arms around. There were other customers. This is a small, rural community. Humiliating to say the least. The effect this had on my son was extremely unpleasant as well. Bottom line, my rights were blatantly violated in a publicly humiliating way. I am strongly considering taking further action on this matter. 5:30AM 8/19/17 read more
