Pulled off here on my way back from a highway run needed lunch and didn't want to keep driving on an empty stomach. It's attached to a gas station, so I almost kept going, but I'm glad I didn't. Inside it just felt like a normal Denny's. Clean, not too loud, plenty of open tables. I was expecting it to feel a bit grungy or rushed given the location, but it didn't. Got the classic pancakes with bacon. Food came out maybe ten minutes later, which surprised me a little since it was the middle of lunch. The pancakes were hot, soft in the middle... the bacon was actually crispy, which doesn't always happen. Nothing that's going to blow your mind, but it hit the spot. read more

Why in the hell did Denny's remove wheat bread? The answer I was given in Tulsa was that it was because of people with celiac disease. So , basically, 99% of us are having our food choices dictated by the 1% of the world's population that claim to have a gluten disease. I would be willing to bet that half of that 1% also have a beer on the weekends. BTW, beer has gluten. I'm sorry if you really do have an illness or allergy, but if your situation only consists of 1%of all people...COOK AT HOME. The rest of us shouldn't have to suffer because these morons, like Denny's, are trying to please you and telling the other 99% that we don't matter. I don't love pancakes! I love Denny's pancakes. They specialize in fluffy pancakes. The cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing also, if you want fancy They also have a range of healthy choices. I love their zucchini side dish However, the service was frustratingly slow that day. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. read more

Stopped to get some food. Was told they were having kitchen troubles and that they wouldn't be seating anyone else. Weird! We left.

We were visiting the Tulsa area and was looking for a place to get a snack. We ordered the nachos and the sampler appetizers. service was great, the appetizers were great and the frozen margaritas was great. If you are looking for a Denny's still in business, this is the one. It is attached to a gas station but you would never know it by the interior. I'm giving this 4 stars with the understanding that isn't fine dining. The experience was just what I hoped for. It was clean, spacious, bright, friendly and a crazy good value. Very slow evening not very busy and still took a bit to get orders and drinks. I ordered a two egg omelette with just American cheese and hash browns with American cheese. I was charged 11.99 for my omelette and then an extra 79 cents to have cheese on it. Never received the cheese for my hash browns that were all harder then potato chips. The waitress was prompt and very personable. The food on the other hand was ATROCIOUS! I ordered an omelet that the had the peppers onions and spinach cooked with the chorizo and filled up TWO NAPKINS WITH GREASE before I sent it back and ordered something that a child could prepare but low and behold my sausage links were pink as could be in the middle as well as my hash browns still being cold in the middle of the pile. This spot was very close to where I had just done my laundry. We were traveling through for work and decided to stop for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Lovely location, been a semi-regular customer for years. Cary is always so helpful and kind. Even when its busy, the food is quick and delicious. Even on Christmas when there was a wait, everything was perfect. Years ago a young man served my ex and I while we were yelling at each other and I was crying and the server was still so polite and accommodating. I'm thankfully not dating that ex anymore but my love of Denny's remains. read more

Accidentally went there on Veterans day. If I were a veteran, it would have not been worth the hour to get in a seat an wait to be waited on for the free breakfast. This place has the worst manager ever, his name is James. I was in there earlier and I spent 40 bucks on food and tipped the waitress $10. So I came back earlier while I was on the phone with my Wife. I go in there to try and sit at one of the many empty tables for a few minutes and James the manager says I have to buy something to sit in there. I explained to him I was in there earlier and spent a good amount of money and he didn't care. He said it was policy, if you ask me that's a stupid policy. Denny's needs to revise that one. Wednesday morning 9:45am. Parking lot looked very crowded. Restaurant surprisingly was not. We were seated right away and had a choice of booth or table. Our server was Andi; she was great. She was very friendly and got our orders out so fast and more importantly correctly. Me and my husband ordered build your own grand slam. This was by far the worse Denny's I have been in. We were seated right away. I ordered the red white and blue pancakes. I could not break them with my fork. I had to use a knife. I believe these pancakes were microwaved. The eggs that came with it were cold and the sausage was pink. My eggs were not the only cold eggs at the table, 2 other orders also. Okay, it's a Denny's at a truck stop but it wasn't half bad. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. I ordered an 8 oz sirloin with grilled squash and mashed potatoes and gravy. The steak was good and cooked correctly, the potatoes were pretty good (doesn't gravy make everything better?), but the squash was grilled with butter and thus came with a brown appearance. I have ordered Tilapia ranchero. My waiter later came and said that there was no avocado in the kitchen. When the food was ready I saw her taking out something of the plate that I am supposed to eat. Right after that she was eating same thing she got out of the plate. ( I guess that was avocado) A Seconds later my 2 peaces of tost arrived on a small different plate. She grabed each peace of the bread one with left had other one with the right hand and put that on the main plate. I refuse to eat the meal.
