Very disappointing experience with our experience at this branch of Denny's. Although this is not a steak house but they serve T-bone steak and we expect to have a decent one at least. Steak served were cooked incorrectly not once but 3x. The steak were very hard to chew. We felt that the person who served us was disappointed already and when the lady manager came - she did not even apologized but justified that it's cooked that way coz the steak is thin - thus, why are we given an option how we want our steak cooked. As much as the rest of my family wanted to order steak- we have to tell them not to order steak anymore. Moral of the story, if you're store will not be able to serve food correctly - remove it from your menu. read more

I've been to this location before and it was good, but this time on a Friday lunch time business was scarce. There was one waiter that dont make the place enjoyable to eat in. She publicly complained to a couple diners that "she has to leave early because management is cutting hours" She joked about the FBI and called them "Female body Inspectors" and was just being loud. Based on previous reviews, i was weary of coming here. Job recently relocated to rosemont, and it was kinda cool to have a denny's down the street. Wasn't sur ei could go there order eat and get back within my lunch time, but it worked out with time to spare. Grant it, i took a really late lunch and there was pretty much no one there 2-3 tables with ppl, so i figured i'd get my food pretty quick. Ordered and food came within 10 mins which was nice. My waitress checked up on my a few times to see if everything was ok. Great customer service and food was good and quick. Will def hit here again. read more

As soon as we walked in we were treated at the door and seated in a booth. The waiter was very friendly and right away offered us drinks. We got our drinks right after 2 minutes of ordering them. But then again we got here on a Tuesday at 3:00 so there weren't many people at all. We took a few minutes to order our food and the waiter was very polite and came around twice to ask if we were ready all within 10 minutes which is good. The second time we ordered and within 15-20 minutes we got our food. I ordered the peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes and the order cake out perfect my boyfriend ordered the strawberry and banana pancake but they gave him sausage instead of bacon. The food is consistent with every other Denny's. Not anything special about it, however they are open 24/7. The service has been great even at the odd hours of the night. They are open to make substitutions if you are vegetarian or want your food made a certain way. If you're craving breakfast at 4 am, I would suggest it. If it's not 4 am, try to find a brunch place :) read more

I didn't have a very good experience on both occasions that I've visited this restaurant. The first time, the wait for the food took forever. The waitress explained that the cook called off and the manager was the one cooking the food. The most recent time, we ordered banana walnut pancakes. The food was cold. So we requested a fresh order. The manager brought out the pancakes without the bananas and then stated that they ran out of bananas. You would think that they would have adjusted the bill without a hassle. Nope. Not at this Denny's. Next time, I'll opt for IHOP. read more

Cancelled flight, ended up in the neighboring motel. 10pm fairly empty restaurant. The manager who greeted me, immediately knew I was taking out and quickly took my order. Is Denny's improving or is it just me? I normally avoid the place if at all possible because I like local flavor when I go out to eat but it's the only restaurant open late near O Hare Motel Six. I like their new American regional cuisine menu and they must be doing recession pricing or something, you can fill up on the $4 and $6 value menu. I walked into this restaurant on new years day after celebrating a great transition into the new year. we ask for a table for 6 and the host tells us it will be a 45 min wait. which is fine because they were busy. however the host kept trying to split up my party. and instead of putting 2 tables together since a table for 2 and a table for 4 has opened up next to each other processeds to seat people who just walked in. so assuming there is only one table for 6 I started watching the service line. I saw ask food sat for 10 min under a heating lamp where the fastest thing made is toast keeps coming rather than dishes. earlier I reviewed another local Denny's location, and I don't mind if I do adding another last night my pretty party of 4 (4-1/2 if you count the carry-out end item) ate here and I had the A-U-C-E stacks of pancakes from the 2-4-6-8 what dish do you appreciate menu they were thick (the pancakes, not my party of 4), moist, fluffy, correctly browned, and (not to leave anything out) with eggs so easily tasted in their delicious flavor perfect service brought me the next plate of pancakes intuitively just as I set the first (emptied) one aside, and the exact same goes for the free refill soft drinks the rest at my table ordered other different items--including a chicken-loaded-potato-skins hot skillet that met with the gluten-free desires of my lovely D 'n L. but their eyes nomatter how I tried couldn't be taken off my pancake plate and sharing some made everything right in the world for the moment (this location closed for a few weeks a couple months ago but reo-opened now after nice remodeling). you want to eat here at Dennys if only to add the suburb of schiller park to your cuisine traveling p.s.: it's at the corner of River Rd and Lawrence Ave, a 1/2 mile south of all the popular Rosemont entertainment attractions also on River Rd (casino, Rosemont theatre, stephens center, fashion outlet) read more

Awful place: The food was ok, not until I found a hair in my broccoli. I asked the waiter to change for me, after few minutes he gave the same plate I have before. I saw only the broccoli has been changed, maybe they just take out the hair and re-boil the broccoli. After that, I began to examine the surrounding, the floor was dirty, the smell was .... After I paid the bill with credit card, the cashier asked me do you want to leave a tip on the receipt. The food here is horrible, we ordered a burger meal and chicken nuggets and a junior 's burger. It was disappointing to say the least!!!my daughter loves chicken nuggets and she didn't like them there, the meat in the burgers tasted bad and not fresh at all !!!given the fact that i was hungry ,and still barely finished half of my food. The fries were very few , we gave this place a few tries since it is near us ,and it is the only place open late at night. I don't usually write reviews but I feel this one is necessary. I went with a group of 8 and we waited at least an hour for our food. When the food finally arrived, we weren't given silverware, some contained hair in it and some of the orders were wrong. Some of us didn't even end up getting our order. Well... that's probably because the waiter didn't even bother writing them down! The service was honestly horrible but don't let my experience stop you from checking them out. they deserve a no star review. went to the denny's in rosemont. both hostesses were rude and had major attitude. after getting seated, my 4 year son asked the hostess for pancakes and she she snapped back "im not the waitress " with a very bad attitude. as i was checking out, the same hosetess with a bad attitude was rude about splitting the check. the other hostess was staring at me like i was a big inconvenience. on another note, my server was super sweet and very nice. he took our order very quickly and the food came out very quickly as well. i hope he doesn't have to split his tip with them. read more
