It depends on when you go. Late night seems to be the best time as, the food is served correctly and quickly with little to no hassle. This is a big step over the others in the area. During lunch hours, it depends on the shift crew. Sometimes, there's a few who make it an unpleasant experience. Yet, there's just as many who make it a wonderful experience. Went to Denny's this morning and was very impressed. I had read some pretty bad reviews on it and I wasn't expecting much but it blew me away! The service was great I was greeted upon entrance and had a very respectful waitress named Marinna. The food was good and punctual. The only concern I had was the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was not as clean as I would of liked but it was still very adequate. I recommend this diner to anyone who wants to go to a family friendly place away from busy crowds. Two thumbs up. read more

If I could give a zero star review I would. This place has the rudest staff I've ever experienced, first they told us it'll be a wait for a seat at the booths cuz they're either dirty or the free, clean ones aren't available cuz the waitress is about to clock out for that section. So my family (four of us) sat down and waited, we said okay and were patient. Then this older couple walks in and they automatically give them the clean booths, the pervious staff member told us wasn't available for us. My father went to talk to the manager and he basically waved us off cuz they were buddies of his so they got those seats. Ordered three breakfasts and waited over 45 minutes and still did not get our order. No one even came over until I looked over and then the waitress said that they were behind! The manager finally came over and all he could ask was, "are you still waiting for your order!" Denny's is another famous restaurant (located in many places) that I go to. The one near me has okay service; it can be slow at times. The food is good though. I usually get the Build-Your-Own Grand Slam with great choices of food to pick. The eggs, pancakes, hash browns, turkey bacon, and the toast are what I go for. read more

Horrible customer service. Not only is their service slow, but they didn't even apologize for getting our order wrong. On top of that, they took forever to bring each course out...waited for like 30 mins after eating too get out dessert. We love the new Denny's in Schertz! Great food and super friendly staff! I sometimes go and stay a couple of hours to get some work done. They have plugs in several locations for my laptop. A great and clean environment and kids friendly. I usually get the Fit Slam. Love the grape tomatoes, spinach and eggs. They are great about accommodating your needs to make substitutions. read more

Since our last visit almost 2 years ago- This place has drastically improved! The restaurant has been remodeled. The service by staff is excellent now: very cordial, professional, attentive, and hard working. The food has much better quality, hot, well put together, and fresh. Our previous few visits were bad enough we stopped going to this location, we thought since we hadn't been in awhile we'd give it another try, we will definitely be going back! I went there with my aon last summer, ended up walking out after waiting 40 minutes for our food. There were bugs crawling on our table and the manager was handeling money then going straight back to the kitchen and handeling food. Yuck! The whole place was gross. The building and all interior is old and worn out. It was a horrible lunch time experience. The waitress was inexperienced, which I found out later was not do to just starting a new job, she had been there for quite some time. She seated us at a dirty table, tried wiping it off with a napkin, then after noticing our menus sticking to the table, my hubby requested her to get a wet cloth to wipe it off. She left us without menus or silverware, then came back asking what we wanted. I asked for menus. We thought about leaving and probably should have. Then she brought my hubby and son their drinks but took another 10 mins to get mine. At that time we asked for straws and it took a long time to get those too. The food was decent, the manager seemed to care, but wasn't able to keep his word by adjusting our bill. He changed our server to a waiter and he was spectacular and even tip worthy! Next thing we know there is another server behind the counter dropping f bombs at the manager and a loud argument ensued. Not only with the manager but she was yelling at other servers. The staff here could use some serious training. I couldn't believe all this happened in one visit. It was like we went for dinner and a show.
