Great service by Alejandra! Food was amazing and the service was proper. The ambiance is typical of any busy diner!

My mom and I were looking for a place located between us to meet for lunch. Denny's, being a typically standard restaurant, and us not knowing the area, Denny's fit. We both ordered entree salads. We got to chatting, but noticed it was taking a while to get our salads. The server came over to let us know they were out of salad lettuce. We found that odd, but placed a new order of a waffle meal & a bacon gouda caramelized onion burger. We made jokes about having to butcher the cow & crush the wheat for waffle flour.....but after 45 minutes, our food finally came. Uhg. The burger had mushrooms on it (not supposed to), which is one of the few foods I can't eat. The server offered to make me another, but at this point I said no - I'm hungry, we've been here well over an hour. When I went to pay, the manager was handling another payment. A server came up and asked about our food. I told her I was disappointed as first we couldn't get our salads, then my burger was prepared wrong. She melted away and I began to explain to the manager. He asked me if the server had told us there was no lettuce, to which I replied after about 20 minutes, he did. He asked me again - why? Was he blaming the server? Then I explained about my burger to which he asked, "Did you eat it?" To which I replied, "I ate the burger, red onion, lettuce (yes, they had lettuce for burgers) tomato, but not the bun or bacon since the cheesy mushroom mixture was throughout." He asked again if I ate it, and I said the server had offered to make a new one, but I'd said no because we'd waited 45 minutes and I was hungry. Again - "But you ate it." I said he should take it off the bill because it wasn't what I ordered. He said he'd take 20% off the bill. What?! Really? I said ok, I'd eaten part, but alright, I'd be willing to pay 50% for the small bit I DID eat, including the fruit. He said 20%. Additionally, I said that I didn't know if this is typical of this restaurant or not because I'd never been here before, but that I would definitely not be coming back. The manager was unyielding, borderline argumentative, and short sighted in that for $4 bucks and change, he lost our business. My mom and I will continue to meet up in Redlands, but will walk a block to hit up what looked to be like food Mecca down on State Street. read more

Nice location, first time here! A bit of a wait after being seated. Food was great. Server Veronica polite and pleasant!

Want to give a shout out to Veronica for her great service! The wait was a little long for food but given it's a Sunday what's to be expected? While waiting Veronica made sure we had our coffee and water filled at all times and was attentive even after the food was brought out. Thank you Veronica ! read more

I like the new building from where it used to be across the street. However we went at night and it was full of roudy drunk people that must have gotten done from the bars down the street. Our waitress told us its normal for them to have that action at night especially on the weekends. Definitely make sure to go during the DAY time. The food was alright, more on the bland side but all Dennys are like this. The prices are too high for bland food. read more

Worst service ever. Asked waitress twice for condiments. Finally got what I can assume is one of the owners he was just as bad as her. Waitress went on break never handed us over to the remaining waitress. Argued with the manager over an item could not give me a simple yes or no. I will no longer give my business to the restaurant. In order to post I must give a star but otherwise I would not. read more

First time at this location. Service was bad food was even worse. If I'm not mistaken I believe everything is $1 more at this specific location, I could be wrong. Overall terrible experience. Will never return that's for sure read more

Great service and friendly staff! Thank you Veronica! Our family will be returning again.

Wednesday 4-18-18 9:10am, I brought my 83 year old Dad in for breakfast after his Doctor's appointment. He was starving because he couldn't eat before seeing the doctor. We sat near the front. The first booth at the window. Our order was taken promptly; and we got our coffee, water and OJ pretty fast....... we watched people that came in after us being served. I could see a skillet platter waiting to be picked up.....I knew it was busy......I watched the skillet.....I watched my watch........I watch the lady that came in after us be served her Free Birthday Breakfast!!!! At 9:45am, I helped my father to the car. That took some time. I came back in to inform them that we were never served our meals. That skillet was STILL sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up!!! The Manager apologized and said that she could make us another. My Dad is in the car saying that his navel is touching his spine!!!! He wants MiMi's Café!!!! He no longer wants Denny's!!! I'm trying do give my Pop his every wish in his final days. We were not offered a voucher of any kind. Just an offer to wait again. read more

We love coming here for breakfast! Whole wheat pancakes are such a treat! My husband had the cherry crepes breakfast special and he loved it. The crepes melted in his mouth! Best thing are the crispy hash browns. The onion add one were caramelized to perfection and added on the top. read more

Went here to see the new building, it was really nice and big. The service was great and food was great. The only negative point was the price of my item but I guess everyone has raised there prices now. I just may not go as often as I would like, can't afford it on a retired person budget. Nice new decor, see for yourself. read more

My wife and our 1-year-old daughter and I visited on Sunday today after church, and we were very impressed by our waitress Veronica and commented to the manager as well. While we were there, we requested a plain bowl of extra strawberries for our girl and did not have to wait long. The food was good, but the main reason for the five stars was the enjoyable family outing experience we had. read more

I was rob at Denny's Redlands last night. I received a text that I hv a free Beyond Burger (vege) at this establishment. Yes, the burger is free but the fries and soda is not. I paid $7.59 for a glass of soda and french fries. To top it all the burger is horrible. Don't attempt to try it. Better go to McDonald's or In & Out Burger. read more
