Waffle slam.

It's a Denny's, but it's a really good one. The manager is super nice, very attentive, and goes out of his way to make your experience special. The food was really good. And they're open 24 hours a day too. I'm absolutely coming back lots.

Overall rating 3 1/2 stars. Food was a good value for the price. I placed an order over the phone, and the food was ready for pick up in less than 15 minutes. The restaurant looks very nice and lovely. Appears clean and well organized. The hostess that checked me out to pay my bill was very helpful and the order was accurate with all of the cutlery napkins And desired sauces. The turkey and dressing meal looked nice, we may partake in coming back to give that a whirl.

Great Spot for food 24/7 ! Standard Denny's, Nice design. Great service. Overall great experience !

First of all, I absolutely LOVE Dennys restaurants. I usually seek them out for a Grand Slam breakfast, solid (and consistent) coffee, and a gluten-free english muffin. The ambiance for a diner is like, wow. There is a fireplace (yeah, a freaking fireplace) and murals on the walls of the Poulsbo waterfront. The interior is all wood themed, and sorta reminded me of the inside of a ship. So very northwest! The food was GREAT and fast. They were out of gluten-free English muffins, so I knocked a star off, but truthfully, that is just me being picky. The server was super sweet and very attentive. She was a SUPER hard worker and was even hoping in the back to help in the kitchen. Our experience started with a smile, and the server kept our cups of coffee filled. This was overall a great diner experience, and yeah, it's Dennys, so you know I will be back!

Awesome to have a Dennys here in Poulsbo. The folks working there are kind and a pretty good vibe. A great low cost family diner.

There is no place to sit inside but there are sidewalk benches or you can walk as you snack. I love that you can look at all the pastries from the side walk. They not only entice you to get a pastry or three but you can plan out what you want while waiting in line. When you order, if I remember correctly, you only get your items in a box if you order more than six items. If you order less they are placed into a waxed bag. I ordered the sour cream donut, Viking cup, and a butterhorn with almonds. I loved them all! They all tasted so fresh, had a great texture, and was absolutely yummy. The Viking cup had the perfect balance of frosting to bun.

First time visiting after I tried going in the past and it was closed. I got the Viking cup, which…read morewas highly recommended by reviewers and the person taking my order. There was a line out the door even 30 minutes before closing, but it went pretty fast and the shelves were also well stocked with pastries; not bare like I expected them to be coming so soon before closing. The person behind the counter explained that the Viking cups were all 20% off as the batch that day came out with irregular shapes. Taste wise it wasn't bad, tastes like a regular cinnamon roll but with more of that homemade touch you get with good quality ingredients and handmade cream cheese frosting (the contrast from store bought to homemade is big when it comes to cream cheese). The frosting had good texture and surprisingly I liked it better than the actual roll, especially since I'm known to always remove cream cheese icing. I think the roll would have been better if it had been served warm. Overall it was not bad, a little sweeter than I would have preferred, but I'm also not a huge cinnamon roll or cream cheese fan because of how sweet they always are in general, so that could just be a personal preference. Want to try the pecan roll or any of the cookies next time I visit, those sounded promising as well. Prices here are also pretty decent considering how touristy this place is, and coming from Seattle, anything under $5 is a relief. Definitely will become a place I hit every time I'm in Poulsbo!

This is a Pub/Bar with a view! And or you can sit outside and see the local seal swimming in the marina the outside area has Umbrellas in case its too hot or bright. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the most genuine and knowledgeable young lady, immediately let us pick a seat, near the window in the . Gave us options and directions to best suit our thirst, and food questions were addressed to help us decide on which delicious entree to pick. The kitchen is modest they have great selections and variety and I am pretty sure whatever you choose you will leave happy! My husband had the catfish basket with two HUGE hush puppies ( a tiny bit spicy) we loved them! Crisp and cooked to perfection do not be fooled by the darker outside. Catfish was cooked perfectly and we wanted more! They have medium thick fries which we really enjoyed also. I chose the Cuban sandwich because I love it and I also was not disappointed. Very filling and delicious. I think their tartar sauce is homemade and if you like tartar you will want to try it. Drink specials were also offered at a price that you could have two and not break the bank . Happy vibe, great service, delicious food and a view whats Not to like?! 5 stars and well deserved. We will be back and soon.!!

They have monthly specials that highlight different themes, so be sure to ask about the current food and drink offerings. They offer 18 beers on draft and two ciders, along with Ghostfish Brewing Company gluten-free beer in cans. The menu includes oysters, elk burgers, nachos, wings, calamari, cheese curds, tacos, and more. On weekends, they serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The patio area is nice and features bar stools that wrap around the entire building (there are no tables, just a bar-style railing). It can get a little warm outside since there's limited shade, but the view is to die for. For my gluten-free friends, the Brass Kraken offers gluten-free buns, corn tortillas for tacos, and one fully gluten-free beer option. A great place to visit it you are in the Poulsbo area.

Caffe Cocina "The Good, the bad, and the ugly"…read more Caffe Cocina is surprisingly busy, perhaps due the the Finn Hill Road drive through? I have very mixed feelings about this local Poulsbo, and soon to be Silverdale, establishment. The good: Caffe Cocina's food is arguably the best reason to visit one of their cafes. In particular, the chicken chorizo breakfast burritos are really delicious! The drink selection is extensive with some innovative twists on lattes and other coffee and tea based drinks. Unfortunately, I really judge a coffee shop on its ability to brew a really flavorful cup of black coffee - I will come back to that later in the review. The bad - The Finn Hill road location has mediocre to bad customer service depending on the day and the shift. Unless you are a charismatic individual under the age of 30, you are likely to be received with no shortage of attitude and general disdain...as if it is your pleasure to be ignored for as long as possible and then to have your order taken with the type of apathy that I would normally approach a Monday morning work conference call where you know you are going to have to listen to that one coworker that seems enamored with their ability to ask questions on points already sufficiently covered...I digress. The downtown location has much friendlier service, so head there if you do not require drive through services. The ugly - The coffee and coffee beans, probably tolerable if you are having an espresso-based drink, but I would shy away from the drip coffee and the beans for brewing coffee at home. The coffee is frankly over roasted, too oily, and decidedly one note for most of the beans that I have tried. I have sampled dark, medium, light roasts and single origins and have not tried anything worth recommending. Should this have been a 3 or a 4 star review? That depends on the location you are visiting and what you are visiting for. If you simply focus on the downtown location, I would by default increase this to a (4) star review due to the excellent customer service and the fact that they offer a pour over (unfortunately, the coffee is still mediocre). If you are visiting the Finn Hill location for anything other than the food, I stand by my (3) star review which is frankly generous given my experience most visits.
