I have been to this Denny's several times in the past, and I've had good experiences. However, this time was the worst. Our server was new (she didn't tell us her name) and very kind, but the staff, as a whole, seemed to be struggling. I ordered a Denver omelette, but it came out as the Hammy and had to be taken back. When my correct order came out, the fake cheese wasn't even melted AND there was a green pepper stem in my omelette. Our server forgot to bring my husband's fruit to him. The guy sitting two booths back from us had his soup sent back because it was cold. There was a family of five (3 kids) who had been sitting for about 10 minutes. The dad asked our server if they could order. Her response was, "You haven't been helped yet?" Nope. I left a review last year about the porta potty smell in the entryway... That hasn't been taken care of. And, one last thing, the milkshakes are over $5 for a very small portion. read more

We had to ask for the value menu, which is the only place I can find the biscuits and gravy. (I suspect this menu may be habitually withheld.) With 4 orders, a really good late breakfast/lunch was had for just under $30. Denny's seems to have consistent quality across the board, and this location was no exception. Inconsistent service and food quality. Convenient location I came twice in a row ( once on Friday and once on Saturday) On Thursday the food obviously came out fast. But my pick 4 order came out separately. The sausage and double egg came out really fast and the eggs were very fluffy and moist. Sausage was a bit dry By the time my pancakes came out the eggs and sausage were cold. There were barely any guests in the restaurant...my pancakes were chewy and stale. It had a weird after taste. Maybe too much baking soda ? The server wasn't very helpful at all. I only saw her three times. First to bring me water. Second to take my order and third to bring me food and check. And it wasn't even busy at all. My Saturday visit was a good experience but the food was alright. Even though it was busier and it took a bit to get our order. The server Lori is the best! She is very attentive and made sure I got everything I needed. The order however wasn't too good. I got the same thing ( pick 4 - pancake, double eggs and sausage). The sausage was moist this time but the eggs were so dry and the amount seems so little for 4 eggs. Denny's is one of those places that we all secretly love to eat at while away on vacations, but never really like to admit it too openly. Well, here I am sayting that I am a fan, but only really for their breakfast which usually kicks ass. Grand Slam anyone? Actually, I hit up this location for lunch yesterday after finishing up the trade show I was attending at the nearby convention center. As I was starving and on the way to a long drive to Ocala to see the parental units I saw this Denny's and made a beeline for it. I was in the mood for breakfast since I had not really eaten today and was craving pancakes. This is actually a Denny's Diner and is a bit larger than other locations. As it was late in the afternoon it was pretty empty and I just took a seat at the counter. Looking over the menu I noticed a new Fit Fare item that peaked my interest - Banana Pecan Pancake Breakfast. Glazed pecans cooked into two thick and fluffy whole wheat pancakes, topped with banana slices, and served with scrambled egg whites and turkey bacon. As it was lent and I was trying to be good I asked if I could subsitute fruit for the bacon. My waitress was accomodating with my request and gave me a parfait glass full of fresh fruit. Sweet! Hey, I have no complaints here. The pancakes and warm syrup were delicious, the egg whites cooked just right, the fruit was fresh and flavorful, and my cup of coffee was constantly filled. Typical poorly managed Orlando eatery. Regardless of day and time long lines with no manager on site. Cashier disappears 10-15 minutes at a time. No one sitting people or taking names. Total caos! We could have walked out without paying the bill and no one would have noticed. In fact, I am sure some just get up and leave as the line to pay is just as long as to get a table. I would've given this Dennys 5 stars if the Manager- A tall old white guy, was more courteous and professional. When I got ready to pay for my food, he didn't acknowledge me or greet me, he just stuck his hand out to get my credit card. I handed him my method of payment and greeted him with a "Hi, how are you doing?". That's sad that a paying customer has to walk into or out of a business and not be greeted 1st. My fiance and I came here for brunch after we checked out of our resort/suite. I've always enjoyed eating at Denny's because of their low priced, but tasty food. This was the second Denny's we been to in Orlando, FL and the decor and atmosphere never seems amaze me. It was busy on a Monday afternoon that we went mostly because there was a conference taking place across the street and people needed a place to eat. Service here seems to be mediocre and seriously slow! Our waitress was friendly and nice, but the time it took my dish to come took forever. My fiance ordered the "Moons over my Hammy" which looked really good and fresh. He also ordered the vegetable beef soup was absolutely savory and delicious. I really enjoyed his soup. Unfortunately, I was sick on our last day in Orlando so I wasn't able to savor every flavor in the soup. It always seems to me that my dish is typically last, I don't know why. I wanted something that I typically wouldn't order and the Wild Alaska Salmon Skillet which looked and sounded amazing and I love, love, love salmon. My dish took a long time to arrive and I was able to hear our waitress yelling through the kitchen that the salmon doesn't need to be well done, well thanks lady! When my skillet arrived, she apologized for it taking long. I lost my appetite since I had to wait forever and also the salmon was hot or smoky, it felt like room temperature. This is the first time I ever experienced a crappy experience at Denny's. I probably won't be back here again with my fiance. The service is just horrible and slow. Don't waste your time here unless you are willing to wait for your food for 10+ minutes. read more

Had a great chicken melt, they add mushrooms and 2 layers of spinach on toasted potato bread, it was soooo good add what they call seasoned fries. And a sweet tea.what a good filling meal all for $11 bucks. She had the hamburger and fries 8.50 Food was for a fast hot and the waitresses were great. We are both left their full and happy. This is your typical Denny's although I will say that they are very good at handling a large number of customers. I sat at the bar and saw that the entire wait staff work together as a team. That spoke well of management. The food is a typical Denny's, nothing to brag about, nothing great. However the service was phenomenal. My server's name was Kim. When I mentioned her to the manager, he said that her customers are always bragging about her. She worked hard, and did a great job. I also saw her resolve conflict between some of the employees. We had a larger group of people. 8 were already in the building and 3 were pulling in the parking lot.
