Reading other reviews, i decided to give this denny's a shot. Im glad we did because it was excellent. Very clean, no wait on a Saturday night around 830pm , super friendly staff and the food for the money is unbeatable. Steak was cooked perfect and very filling. Unfortunately I have to update my earlier review. Our last night in Orlando (Wednesday) we decided to have dinner here, as the service had been great and food very tasty. On this occasion we were met by Matt L, who appeared to be a manager of sorts. He had a look of irritation in his eyes. There appeared to be some dispute and the atmosphere wasn't great. Nevertheless we proceeded to our table. Matt immediately asked us if we wanted appetisers before we had even seen a menu. My fiancée was then given a menu in Spanish, whilst Matt stormed off to get drinks whilst still muttering to a fellow colleague. We ordered our food, which was nice enough. Whilst I was eating my chicken skillet, Matt stood over us asking if we wanted dessert. I had a full chicken breast still on my plate! So we said we would probably order after we finish our mains. Matt went off and returned with our bill! With a grunt he put it on the table and walked off.This establishment is 24 hours and half empty so not sure what the rush was! So with his earlier attitude and then having our bill shoved at us, again whilst we were eating. Matt did NOT receive a tip. His attitude was appalling. He was clearly irritated and we heard every word of his mutterings about one of the other staff. Not cool and very unprofessional. I will mention again the service here was great on visits prior to this one. Daphne in particular is a star. Matt L needs some serious attitude adjustment and maybe another course in customer service. read more

Went there twice and ordered the fit slam and the fit fare veggie skillet. asked upfront to use less oil/butter and i have to say that the dishes were good. both times the service was good and fast. different crews worked when i had breakfast overthere. you cannot beat the price. however there is a typical smell that would turn you away. i think that they use the same towel over and over again to wipe the tables. leaving the terrible smell and the fat/stickyness.. Poor customer service. The manager (Bob) doesn't know what he's doing. Completely clueless. We waited for over an hour for breakfast. The food was delicious!!! The hasbrowns are nice and crispy and the pancakes are perfect, fluffy and sweet. The value is incredible with the slam breakfast deal for 7 bucks. Our servers, Amy and Maria, were some of the best waitresses we've ever had. Very very impressed with this place. My boyfriend and I have our car in the shop, and we wanted to eat out. But because our transportation was extremely limited, we decided to hit up the Denny's just down the street from us. I was actually very pleasantly surprised! Our waitress, Kendall Rose, was extremely friendly and made me feel as if I was among friends, not just out for a meal. I had a strawberry cheesecake milkshake, which was very thick and creamy for such a commercial place. My boyfriend had some sort of breakfast sandwich. It was just what I needed. Our waitress also seemed extremely familiar with other customers, as she knew them by name and what they wanted before they even sat down. I will definitely be going back! read more

All you can drink strawberry lemonade was great; the free refills was plus. The nachos were so so lots of meat not enough nachos and peppers not use to nachos without guacamole and jalapeños. Had me wishing I got the loaded Tot's instead. Grabbed the bacon avocado burger cooked medium with season fries. Which was great. I used the rest of the meat from the nachos as a dip for the season fries, which was excellent. Service was good ended up tipping 18%. All in all an average experience. read more

This Denny's was by far the best I've ever eaten at. The food was good; not incredible, but it filled the empty space well (it is Denny's after all). The thing I was most blown away by was the staff--they were incredible even at 12:30 in the morning! Always there to refill our drinks or answer any questions. Very timely with the check. It was an overall great experience that is many times unusual at many Denny's at this time of night. Definitely recommend this one to any in the area. read more

Very happy with our breakfast at Denny's yesterday. We are staying at a hotel next door and needed a cheap breakfast because we were running out of funds lol. I saw Denny's has the $2, $4, $6, $8 menu so I thought we'd try it out. The restaurant itself was very clean and the servers were polite and quick. Neither of us ended up ordering from the cheap menu, I got the blueberry pancake breakfast and my husband got the French toast slam. Word to the wise, the $9.xx FT slam is just the $8 French toast slugger with one less piece of toast but the $8 one includes hash browns, juice and coffee wish the server had said that but nbd. My pancakes were delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. Coffee was hot and fresh. They were busy but prompt service and the food came out quick. I was full til 3! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR VEHICLE TO BE ROBBED WHILST INSIDE!!!!! On the way to Sanford airport on Thursday August 7th we stopped here for breakfast. It took the waitress ages to serve us and people who'd come in after us were served before us. When we returned to our hire van we discovered our cases and hand luggage had been stolen. The lock hand been punched to gain acccess. I had to ask the staff twice to call the police as they didn't seem that bothered. Was our breakfast delayed on purpose? We visited the adjascent premises asking if they had CCTV and were told that it happens regularly here. Please don't leave your vehicle unattended with anything in it. My kids and I ate here a couple late nights on a recent trip to Orlando. We enjoyed it enough on our first night into town after a long day of travel (it was close to our hotel) that we did it again after a day at Disney World. On both occasions, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our food was good (they have some pancake choices that put the neighboring iHop to shame and the hash browns are pretty yummy, too) and service was quick. The restaurant was clean and I would definitely eat here again. It's a Denny's so you know what you're getting, but this is a good one. The best part was our waiter Brandon. No, I'm not a Denny's person. However, when you are vacationing with 3 children, you have to find something they are willing to at least try to eat. They liked it, they liked it! I am a fan of Denny's but my visit here was not as expected. The floor was dirty I watch staff pass chopped bananas on the floor and never picked up.. Finally one lady picked it up with her bare hands threw it to the trash and missed and didn't bother picking it up. The menus smelled and felt dirty.. Our table was cleaned with a dirty towel you can smell it.. The hostess seemed very unhappy or was having a bad day.. Fantastic atmosphere. Food was hot. Servers are very nice. The manager came and refilled out coffee cup.

I had a nice grilled tilapia and then a large sundae for dessert for dinner before going back to my room at the Days Inn across the street. I was quite sad that day because I had attended a funeral earlier.
