We had four people in our group and three of us were told the thing we wanted to order was not available. Very slow service.

New chef is fire!!!! He made my man's steak perfectly! We talked about it all weekend. Thank you chef!

My server natalie was amazing we got a berry waffle slam, and it was perfect. She was very kind, and was on top of everything. She made sure our whole order was correct with a smile. read more

I ordered an everyday value, my server was new so I was a bit worried at first but Annie ended up doing an fantastic job, while we waited she made good conversation, our drinks never went empty and when we got our food it was simply delicious. read more

My first Denny's experience and it will probably be my last. The one worker here was trying but he was the only one on staff on a Saturday morning. Once the managers arrived less happened and more chaos ensued. We had to get up refill our own coffee. My breakfast slam became something else... pretty much missing everything for $13. I can get similar quality at McDonald's for cheaper and faster. Took over an hour to make but they were the only place open. I'm taking a road trip to a wedding and I think Denny's made me late. They need to go out of business sooner rather than later. read more

Denny's - Diners Near Me - Oakhurst, California

The manager was mopping the floor, and then asked to go around and see her selves. If it wasn't for one of the workers looking over, it is sitting there waiting they would've never sent a waiter over to help us. I don't know it was worse the service for all the flies were surrounding us at our tables. Took them a long time to even bring us our food and most of the food was burnt or overcook real bad. There was no customer service. They were out of a lot of food. When I asked about my burnt chicken strips and onion rings, he read more

Food was good and served quick. Servers were really nice during late hours in the day.

The taste was as good as any Denny's you would visit. The only thing hat I did not like about the long wait time and the fools delivery. The joint is less staffed. We went during the winter time. Still it was medium crowded, the food came to the table little late but everything tasted good read more

I happen to stumble into this Denny's after a long day at work being a good American. I ordered a Cali club sandwich for pick up. I received my food in great time and was plated well. Great service great sandwich. read more

Is it possible to give zero stars. Ordered breakfast here this past week for the family. Should have gone just down the street to McDonalds. Would have been cheaper and tasted better. Matter of fact my wife's meal came with the wrong sausage and practically NO hashbrowns. My English muffin was so hard it was almost uneatable and my eggs were dry. Will for sure never return here again. The staff was friendly which was their only saving grace. Recommend go somewhere else. read more

Best dennys I have been in a while I'm from Fresno and the dennys down there are alright but this Dennys they take pride in there work If I come up here again I will for sure come back to this location read more

Arrived to seat for a party of 9. Before telling the hostess that it was 9 of us, she had said it was a 20 minute wait. It jumped to 45 minutes when we told her the amount of people, which was fair enough. We told her we wouldn't mind sitting at separate tables. She said it would still be 45 minutes even though we could clearly see two seepage tables we could fit at. She has said that her "boss" said that was the wait time. Sucks aa we have a 5 hour drive ahead of us. I can see this place has a terrible rep based of other reviews. read more

I waited 10 minutes to be seated after they seated me I ordered the drinks and it took 25 minutes to deliver them very bad experience I will never go back read more

After a 5hr drive, we found Denny's and had a great meal, everything tasted so delicious and fresh. Great service too. The nachos were superb! read more

While visiting Yosemite for several days, we had supper at Oakhurst Denny's every night. The service was polite and courteous, and the food was great. Nina, our waitress every night, deserves more than 5 stars for her outstanding service beyond what we expected. She truly went the extra mile to make our dining experience and visit to Oakhurst one to remember. read more

Very good service even during peak hours! They were able to serve everyone in a timely manner, while keeping a happy demeanor! Food was lovely, service was even better! read more

Wonderful service is provided at this establishment. Alongside a quick wait time, there are many interactive specials on the menu. The decor of the restaurant is relaxing. Customers in the restaurant were a bit loud but of course that will defer based on each experience within different times. The food was just The right temperature and throughly cooked. read more

We came around 10:00pm because most places were already closed in the area from a long drive from Orange County. No one acknowledges us as we were just standing at the front waiting to be seated. I had to finally say something. Once we ordered, it took a long while to get our order. She even forgot our drink order even after I reminded our server. I finally asked where our food was since we saw other customers seated after us already eating their meal. I was told it was because my daughter's chicken kabob she ordered was frozen. When our order finally came, my pancakes were fine and the soup was fine but the chicken kabobs were not cooked right. We ended up being there almost 2 hours! Ridiculous! We do not recommend dining here. read more

My family and I have been here at Bass lake for a whole week we've eaten at various restaurants unfortunately we made the mistake on our last day to come to Denny's for breakfast! This has been the worse mistake we've made all week! Please do yourself a favor do not stop here the service is horrible the food tastes really old! Corporate needs to pay attention to this particular restaurant because it serves a variety of tourists it needs to do better! The staff is less than professional! If you eat here is most likely that your experience will not be any good! They need help here!!!! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place actually use to be really nice and I am shocked at how bad it is. Service is SUPER slow. Bathroom look as though it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Disgusting! read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. Cold chicken , and water pitcher so fucking nasty I could puke had a couple glasses of water until I noticed some crusty black gunk on the pitcher. Didn't drink anymore water. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED. Absolutely crusty read more

We visited this location during a weekend trip to Yosemite. We were greeted and seated right away. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. They made recommendations for a hearty breakfast before a day of hiking. Overall, it was a good breakfast. I will definitely come back on our trip to town. read more

We decided to come to this Denny's after we received horrible service from Round Table. We couldn't be any happier with the food and customer service that Nina provided we will definitely be back to visit. The cleanest Denny's I've been ever been to. read more

Waiting for breakfast, it was obvious that it was under staff when I arrived. Waited about 15 minutes before anyone asked if we would like coffee. After ordering our breakfast meal, we waited for about 30 minutes for our breakfast to be served. read more

Visiting Yosemite from out of town ..First time in a Denny's in 20 years, but decided to go as the sign said: "kids eat free". Great service by Jenny, fun nostalgia pics, and the food delivered. However, after I paid the bill, I noticed my 9 year old son had been charged for the meal. When I requested a refund, both staff said that I don't get the kids' meal free unless I ask before I pay. When I insured how a customer was to know such policy minutia, they said I could talk to a manager tomorrow (which is not possible as I leave town early in AM) This is my first yelp review...i would never ordinarily bother but I was rattled by this unethical and sneaky misleading advertising ...a small-print bait-and-switch. I will never go back to a Denny's on sheer principle. -N read more

Nina was the best thing about this Denny's. She is the best waitress and always shows great hospitality. She needs a raise by Mr. Denny's himself because she looks like she be putting in that overtime without that overtime pay. read more

Hello out there! For reasonable Dennys price we had orders of nachos, chocolate chip pancake with eggs and a jr hamburger which more than satisfied our hungry pallets. Winding our way to Yosemite we stopped in humble Oakhurst for a late lunch. Though the food was good it was the Class triple A service from our waitress Daisy that will linger in my mind. Thank you Daisy for not only service with a smile but service with patience, kindness and expediency. Drop in and you will see for yourself at how fortunate Dennys is to have Daisy in their employ. read more

I recently visited Yellowstone National Park for I am a traveling professional photographer. Because I get up really early prior to sunrise, I always look for a clean, affordable place to visit and have a nice breakfast. I was very happy to have been staying so close to this particular Denny's restaurant because the service was exceptional, especially from my waitress (Tere) I had the privilege of waiting on me two days in a row. Not only was my food cooked to perfection, the restaurant clean and sanitized, and easily accessed off of Route 41, but the service was exceptional, too. Tere was so super friendly, courteous, kind and very good at what she does. She consistently came to my table to make sure that everything was OK, even though I know that she was busy attending to other customers. She even made the time to ask about my photography work and showed a genuine interest in what I do for a living. I was so happy to come back the next morning and have Tere wait on me again for the second day. I have been to many Denny's restaurants before in the past. But this one was one of my most enjoyable visits. I highly recommend this restaurant for it is comfortable, friendly and inviting, especially after spending a day exploring the beauty of Yosemite National Park. Thank you, staff! And thanks especially to Tere for making my visit so enjoyable and memorable! read more

Slow. Rude. Terrible. Don't come here. Denny's is usually pretty consistent. This one is complete garbage.

Awesome service!! Been here many times for late night munchies with my gf and it always hits. Normally have the same server Nina and she's amazing. Always on it and a super sweet girl. 10/10 read more

We ordered food for pick uo they charged my card almost 60 dollars we went to get it and said they had no order and I could not have my money back after arguing with myself and my boyfriend and him driving back home they all of a sudden found the ordered.... Surprise surprise and the two workers who were on shift were so extremely rude so I asked to speak with a manager and it gets better she was the manager lol don't ever go there read more

The consumer service there food and there hygiene when I went there one time they gave me spoiled food

This place is an absolute joke. Rude hostess, she also dropped an entire tray of food and said "I'm done" and walked away, letting someone else clean it up. The only saving grace is that the food was hot and the blonde server was putting on a happy face in what can only be explained as a s*** storm! Give her a raise. If it weren't for her this place would probably go out of business FAST. read more

With limited options on eating establishments we hoped our visit to this Dennys would've been better than it was. Service was horrible. Floors were dirty. Bathrooms were dirty. Trash on the floors. And the food was not good, no taste, horrible presentation. read more

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. Decided to eat here after a day of hiking in Yosemite. It wasn't busy as it was towards the end of the evening around 8:30/9 on a Sunday, but all the waitresses were hanging out by the kitchen, and when they saw us, there was no urgency to greet or approach us. We waited about 5 minutes until a host asked us how many of us were in our party. There are multiple large tables open, but the waitress seats our group of 6 at a small booth. Then we get passed up 3 times by other waitresses who said another server will be with us shortly. Now we've been here for about 20 minutes from the moment we walked in and still haven't been asked what we want to drink or given water. When we finally get our drinks she said she'll come back to take our order. After another 10 minutes and still not having ordered, we decided to leave. It is absolutely ridiculous to not have your order taken after 30 minutes. Service here doesn't exist. read more

This is absolutely the worst Denny's I have ever been to. Bathroom was horrid with overflown full toilets. My over-easy eggs were ACTUALLY raw and slimy... bacon was black and burnt..Meat on my husbands burger was freezer burn. If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would..and I'm not one to ever post reviews but this restaurant deserves it. Do Not Recommend eating here!!!!! read more

I really didn't want to believe the reviews for this place when I read them but they are correct - this Denny's just sucks. But not for lack of trying to be better though - the staff here was always nice to us, but noticeably understaffed. What this adds up to are long waits, clogged bathroom sinks, coffee stained menus, unkempt floors, not fully cooked pancakes, and dishes that don't look too clean. It's a shame that this is Oakhurt's only Denny's and one of the few places in town open after 9pm - it leaves both hungry residents and travelers to nearby Yosemite with a subpar dining experience. read more

Worse Denny's ever!! Waited 30 minutes for the host to greet us and put our name down, once she appeared, she had a snarky attitude. Once seated down, took an hour to receive our food and the place was empty. Messed up/forgot our order. Don't bother coming here, take your money some place else. read more

Everything about this dennys was the worst dennys experience we've had. what I want to emphasize is the food. The brisket n Mac skillet was horrible. Overdone, the outside was super burnt and super salty. The rest of the food has a distinguished overused oil tast. the salmon smelt rancid and it gave my mom stomcah issues. Hell I'd go as far to say that most of the food was beginning to spoil. Don't come here or you'll get a stomach issue. and don't get me started with the service. We're they watching a movie? shit it looked like it. If a person whom they knew came in, they would come in and sit and talk with them and forget about the rest of the customers for several minutes at times. Yea not worth it read more
