We didn't really have a bad experience at this location. All of the past times I came here, I never had a negative experience compared to other reviewers. There is always plenty of parking. They are open 24 hours. We were seated immediately. Our server Nicola was very attentive and got us everything we needed. We got the strawberry and mango lemonades and those are unlimited refills. They are definitely worth getting since they are refreshing. We ordered T-bone steak and eggs, sirloin steak and eggs, and strawberry stuffed French toast. The meats were cooked to our liking, medium rare. Meat was juicy and tender. Eggs and hash browns were nicely cooked. They do have seasoning but you can add more. Pancakes weren't soggy, they had a great texture and chew. The highlight was the strawberry stuffed French toast. It wasn't too sweet, a perfect balance of cream cheese to French toast. read more

I ordered the nachos online from this Denny's location with extra meat and no pico de gallo. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it had pico de gallo on it, and the amount of meat and chips was noticeably less than what I usually get when I dine in or order from other locations. That said, the flavor was still great overall--the nachos were delicious! But I personally can't stand the taste of cilantro, so every bite with pico kind of threw it off for me. It's a small thing, but it made a big difference in the experience. Delivery itself was excellent--on time, contactless, and followed all my instructions perfectly. Worst place, and the manager is person who pretends to be "nice" but he is not. We use to came every Tuesday at this location for so many years, I'm done with Dennys. So I ask for take off eggs and replace for fries, but they denied my request. Every week we ask the same exact thing. But today they decided to charge me extra, when I ask the waitress to ask first before order. So she just came with order ready and said "sorry I have to charge you extra, because I can't do what you want" I ask for manager, but he came and told me "we can't change the thing how menu is set" So disappointed about this place! Me and my daughter went to have a late dinner, around Midnight. I ordered a meal and asked for no mushrooms. They Served me mushrooms and I'm allergic to mushrooms, just for them to charge me extra for mushrooms on my receipt. I didn't notice the mistake on the receipt until I looked at it this morning because I rushed out to handle my allergic reaction. I called to speak with a manager and I spoke with the manager Kermit and he tells me I should've called last night. He didnt even offer to rectify the situation! food, service and customer service is always wonderful. the place is clean, welcoming and very family friendly. not a long wait to be seated or served longest i have ever had to wait was 8 minutes to be seated when they where busy and understaffed. they work great and fast and the food is absolutely fantastic and delicious. my boyfriend and i go here most of the time when we want to eat out and i have never once had a problem at this establishment. absolutely wonderful and would definitely recommend for a family night out. wish i could give more stars. 100/10!!!! read more

Had breakfast here this morning. Food was ok, the bacon was so thin though that you could see thru it. The waitress brought me two additional pieces but being a big guy (6'6" and 270lbs) I expect decent size portions not skinny bacon. Work on it Denny's! I go to dennys all the time, I love it, but I came on Christmas Day obviously expecting it to be busy because there's not much open, we ask for a table for 2 and they said about 30 minutes so we put our name and number down, about an hour later we ask how much longer and we see they crossed our name off, we didn't get no call or message, a nice girl told us she will seat us right away but then, I believe it was the manager, she starts giving us attitude saying pretty loud and rude "they probably didn't answer the phone, you know we're not leaving voicemails, maybe they should check their phone". Also there were about 6 tables with people sitting, was not busy in there and they're turning everyone who wants to dine in away bc they have "70+" online orders, if you can't take care of the guests waiting in the restaurant don't take that many online orders, many tables got up and left after waiting probably 1hour or more. Denny's is my absolute favorite and the North Aurora location is the best by far. I've been going here for years and years, and even though I live in Naperville and the Denny's over by Fox Valley is closer, I still make the commute out here. It's always clean and the service is outstanding. The employees that work here are the nicest people I've ever met and provide better service than most higher end restaurants I've been to. The food is great and always fresh. I've never had an issue. I always get the sampler platter with buffalo chicken strips, quesadillas, and mozzarella sticks. So unhealthy and fattening, but so delicious. I especially love it because the other day my husband and I went here at 8AM and they still let me order the sampler platter! Where else am I gonna get buffalo chicken strips at 8 in the morning!? So awesome. The prices are great and they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. What more can you ask for? read more

Denny's food is always great at night after a night of having some beverages of choice. I also really dig the different 2, 4, 6, and 8 dollar specials that they have. You can't beat unlimited pancakes for 4 bucks. I mean get your eat on for syrup sakes. If your looking for a late night place with good food and service you definitely need to stop in here and have some tasty items off their menu. The staff here is always nice and friendly. They also do a great job with keeping the restaurant clean. Another pet peeve of mine is making sure I have like 50 refills of water cause I drink like I'm finding nemo. Denny's is like Old Faithful! I dunno why, but we used to hang out at one in high school and I know I'm not the only weirdo that did! Not every location is the best. In an area like this in Aurora, this location is clean, bright, friendly and prompt. That makes it a true gem! We've never had an issue with service and the food is good! I always gravitate towards breakfast and I would usually get the country fried steak and eggs! But times, they are a changin'! I've had a dinner here and there like the slow cooked pot roast! Lately, I've been workin on the Fit Fare courses. I go back and forth between the banana pecan pancake breakfast and the veggie skillet with egg whites. It all depends on the sweet tooth and if I feel I can handle all the calories and sugar! I can never eat everything and always take home leftover breakfast for the next day! The boy goes back and forth between a breakfast of the all American slam or the T-bone steak and eggs or a burger of some sort with a soup on the side. His grandma got him into have soup at diners, even if it's with breakfast! She ate it with every meal if she could lol! Our servers have always had smiles for us and kept them throughout the meal! They could be slammed with multiple tables with screaming children and still be happy to see us! That seriously says something to us. The 2 of us are just as important to them as the big table of 10! Haven't been here in a very long time but stopped in at the spur of a moment on a weeknight with a friend. We walked in to the smell of brewed coffee! One of my favorite smells at a restaurant.Very clean restaurant. Good service. Our waitress smiled but wasn't that interactive with us. Food was hot and delicious! I was craving an omelet so I had the Ultimate omelet with hash browns and an English muffin. Omelet wasn't over cooked with those browned edges. Fluffy and heaped with fillings. Shredded Hash browns nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I had ice tea which was so so. Not enough flavor or ice. My friend had the Avocado Bacon burger and it was huge! This is the place to go after a movie out at Tinseltown in Aurora, IL. My hubby and I usually get hungry from a late night movie after work, so we hit Denny's right after. This was my first time there. I went about 9AM on a Sunday morning and was surprised at the crowd. My usual spots don't get that busy so soon. Despite the long line of people we were seated in about 10 minutes. Considering how busy they were, service was reasonably quick. The food was all Denny's, which is something to count on. The waiter took orders from our table and the one next to us without writing anything down. My girlfriend's order wasn't quite right, but we let it go. I did have to deduct a star. If I could give zero stars I would. My friends and I went there after our homecoming dance and keep in mind that it wasn't busy so service should not have so bad. When we went in it took 20 minutes to seat us even though there were only two other groups in the restaurant and they were seated. When we got a table the waitress came over and took our order. Most of our party with the exception on three people ordered water but it still took about 15 minutes to get us our drinks. When she took our food orders we were told that it would be about a 20 minute wait because they were a little short staffed which we of course understood. But an hour and 30 minutes later, after we brought their mistake to their attention, we finally got our food. All of our plates were wrong and the food was absolutely disgusting. We asked the manager for some money off, maybe about half the meal because we were all very upset but he only gave us $7 off. This was one of my worst restaurant experiences. You sometimes gotta take the good with the bad. The good...the meals here are so cheap especially the $4.00 breakfast. The food isn't bad either, I mean it's better than fast food. Dinner is nicer, and surprisingly good. The turkey panini and soup combo for $6.00 is great, and it's much less wait time during dinner than at breakfast. Sometimes the breakfast service is slow, and if you are impatient don't bother coming cause it can be really slow. But overall, not a bad place for a cheap bite to eat. We ordered food on Uber Eats; 3 items. We only received 1 item (with the wrong side) out of the 3. We drove 25 minutes to retrieve the correct food. The food had been sitting on the table for over 50 minutes, however we still accepted this food, as we understand they only had one cook. The woman at the cash register at 1:30 am on Sunday 11/7 was less than pleasant. She wore glasses and had a bun and I hope to never see her again. We informed her that the side with the burger was incorrect, and she loudly was complaining to the kitchen that we didn't share this information to her on the phone. Because we only received 1/3 of our order, we didn't look in the box to ensure our sides were correct. When asked why she was complaining about customers who were present, she proceeded to complain more about us about a mistake that was not our own. The hostess was about to set me and my girlfriend down when someone came from out the back and said we need to wear mask. I found it weird the hostess allowed me and my girlfriend to walk-in and come close to sitting down before another individual had an objection that worked there. I reminded the lady i'm from Indiana which is a state that doesn't wear mask and it is not enforced so I don't have one obviously. But yet it is at the discretion of the business. They didn't have mask there for me to purchase. So the lady said we would have to leave. As I was leaving I looked over at a couple that were sitting down waiting on their food and they did not have on a mask. A question I don't get is why was I told to wear a mask but the other people weren't wearing theirs and what's the point of loosing a customer permanently and demand they must wear a mask when in order to eat you must take off the mask. I'm currently at the Chillis down the street. I'm writing this waiting on my food and the hostess have on mask and some of the customers do and don't have on mask. A business gained my business and money and a business lost money and a customer. I'm sorry I came in tonight without a mask when my state doesn't enforce it where i'm from and I couldn't get one from them .
