If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The manager was extremely disrespectful--he stood near the front counter and took a photo of my mother's butt. When I confronted him and asked if he had taken a picture, he denied it. I then asked him to show me his phone, but he refused. Instead, he kept apologizing for what he had done. When I requested to speak to the manager, he claimed that he was the manager. Please be cautious of people like this. Some may not see it as a big deal, but as a customer service representative, this behavior is completely unacceptable. read more

Thank you for such great food and services most of all the prices. We are 2 seniors and a budget and really appreciate it.

We were visiting Monterey and came here for breakfast. It was quite busy so it took a while to get a table. We got a bit annoyed though because large groups that came after us were sitting before us before those sized booths opened up first. Eventually we were able to get a table. Service was good from there. We got plenty of refills on our coffee and the food came quickly. Food was standard omelettes and pancakes. Nothing amazing but fine for breakfast. read more

What kind service! My family and I are from out of town and when my brother explained it was his girlfriend's birthday. Not only did the two servers(Zullje and Jose) sing happy birthday but they also got her a balloon and ice cream topper. It meant so much to us that they took the time to do this for her. Additionally our food was excellent and served in a timely manner. read more

The server had no idea what he was doing.. gave the wrong food to the wrong people. My meal came out wrong and 30 minutes before my fiancés. Then he didn't even get half his meal. Coffee was on the cold side, pancakes were missing the blueberries and whipped cream. Very disappointed read more

Four of us went into your establishment and it was not the Denny's we were used to! We were served old cold coffee, which made me nearly vomit, I was so stomach sick that I couldn't eat my food. I have been coming here for years and have never had such a terrible experience! read more

Just walked into Dennys at 12:14 and was told to leave cause they're closed.. yet they have a 24 hour sign lit up in the window.. when I asked why they're closed if they say they're open 24 hours dude started to stutter.. this isn't our first bad experience here.. better off driving to Marina Dennys read more

I got off work and decided to go eat something at dennys with my boyfriend, if I didn't ask if we can get seated we would've had still had to wait at the front desk waiting, it took quite a while to get our order taken and to even get us started with some drinks! The food was not good at all and I paid 98$, my sandwich was very oily and to crispy tasted burnt, my boyfriends fries were burned and tasted horrible! I've never had a bad experience at Denny's! So disappointed! Don't eat at this Dennys! read more

Service is slow because they're understaffed. Food is standard denny's food in a dated facility. Eggs Benedict cooked as ordered. Coffee taste was so-so. The biscuits and gravy were not good. read more

Went to the Denny's near Munras late night and the service was absolutely bad. First the wait was abr 10 mins though tables were available, then another 20 mins wait for the order to be taken, since the wait staff did not even bother to check. He had to be reminded by the other waiter. Then the food arrived with one order missing. The waiter had gone out without serving the food. So another 10 mins. In the meantime there was drama with the kitchen and wait staff which really not required . Finally the salmon arrived and two bites and there was a long piece of hair in the salmon. So got the ordered cancelled. Definitely never going back to this place. read more

Just no. Maria our server was very kind, but the young girl upon paying our bill was so subservient that she let an arrogant blowhard cut right ahead of our family to pick up an order. I totally get a pickup situation and he should have been next in line for sure, but we were already there paying so we shouldn't have been shoveled off to the side to appease him. When we were walking in we thought, "Wow! The wait is so long that people are waiting in the car?" Upon second appraisal, no, these were two people who appeared to be looted out/passed out slouched over in there vehicle. They hadn't budged one single inch in the hour that we were there. They should have called the cops and had these people removed from the handicapped spot in their parking lot. Not cool. It's sad that people have resigned to doing nothing in this world to stop loitering. read more

David is great. He's so welcoming and great at making sure you get exactly what you like. Love it id be coming back.

I stopped by on my way through town and didn't realize at first that I'd been here before, but that was almost a decade ago. It didn't occur to me until I was seated that I was the only customer here. It was kind of creepy as nobody else came in the entire time I was here. The employees were really nice and seemed a bit surprised when I ordered enough food for two people, despite dining alone. I hadn't eaten all day so I was starving. I had the philly cheesesteak omelette and the avocado bacon cheeseburger. Both were very good and were prepared correctly. I've had both of these items at other Denny's and on almost every occasion something was missing or cooked improperly. I doubt I'll ever come back to this place but this visit was definitely better than last time. read more

Denny's - Denny's 300 Fremont Monterey California - Diners Near Me - Monterey, California

Hello management at Dennys 300 Fremont.. I've been sitting here for 20 minutes with not so much as a hello or any kind of acknowledgment. It's 1:40 am, and I'm hungry. Now it's been 2 times that 8v made eye contact with a waiter and still no service. I don't know what's going on, but this is crazy! I can't make out the guys name on his tag, but he is an African gentleman who seems to not see me even though we have made eye contact 3 times now I have a hard time believing this is ok standards in any restaurant. Ok , so now it's been 30 minutes and nothing... I guess I'll gi to Hack in the box. I wont come here again and I hope management gets thier stuff together and straightens up the staff here read more

Food was great and we were served very well but it's just that the restaurant smelled like a bathroom cleaner. We didn't finish our food because it was not appetizing to eat with that smell. read more

Honestly, this was the best dining experience we had in Monterey. The wings were crunchy, not soggy. The fruit was fresh. Our waitress Carmen was excellent and attentive. The bus boy was on top of it. He regularly came around looking for dishes. Definitely recommend. read more

Good food and great service. Rafael was my server today he's very kind and patience and my food was really good.

There was quite the wait for breakfast on a Monday morning, it was about a good 10-15 minutes. Pretty good sized place, but they were definitely understaffed, because there were a few tables open, but customers were not being seated due to not enough servers to cover the floor. Ordered a bunch of items and everything was fresh and prepared well. The coffees were hot and fresh and the food ordered was great as well. The food did take a while to come out though, but the place was packed. Our server was Jose and he was very nice and accomendating to questions, and was a pretty decent server. Took a star off because the place could have been cleaner and the overall customer service could have been better in terms of ordering times, wait times and food wait times. However, this is a great spot to hit up for some breakfast, just be prepared for a little wait. read more

I would give less if I could! My 6 year old and I just walked into this Dennys to receive the worst service ever! There was only one waitress that could be found and she was too busy having a conversation with friends to even acknowledge us. A simple " I will be right with you." after 7 minutes waiting for a hostess, or anyone would have been nice. And there were only two tables full in the entire restaurant! This woman was not only rude but even gave us a dirty look when we left. It is not a surprise with the reviews that she might even be the manager there. I get that it's Dennys but come on. read more

Maybe this is one if the ones closing this year because they like to say they are closed all the time anyway lmao. We don't care. Over the last few years, the service and staff have been damn terrible. The food was always mediocre no matter how many times you were having a decent day and this location would disappoint you. I have seen so many people leave this location with a unsatisfied look on their faces many times. And guess what, the staff don't care anyways. Good luck on starting over somewhere else once again lol read more

Very very disappointing Don't waist your time at this location, wish I could give it zero stars , I waited about 25 min to get seated and I waited another 35 min just to even order my food, no one came to ask us if we wanted drinks and to make it worse our food took another 35 min and the food was so cold by then and my daughter had ordered Mac n cheese and they had forgot about her food , worst experience, I came to Monterey for a birthday trip and my whole experience at this location was very bad.. we asked to speak to the manager and he couldn't even come out to talk to us Instead he sent the waiter to take off an item from our order , it's such a joke here read more

Almost all the orders are wrong, the server was lazy and sent half of the order to wrong table. The cooks took forever on the re-fire and again got half of the order wrong. I had had a lot of bad experiences at a lot of different Dennys, but this is the worst one by far. No compensation for any of the mistakes was ever even offered. Avoid this place at all costs, service AND food was the worst ever. read more

Good service super fast and friendly the two stars it says in the review is a big lie the real service food and staff is going over 10/10

I am not going to lie, I was ready to write them off as a 1. I ordered simple pancakes. Website said 10 minutes, but I been eating in here for over 20..... I was hungry so that may have contributed into everything, but when I opened the plate I was pleasantly suppressed, pancake full of gains and what have you. It tasted great, I can't complain no more hahaha, all this for $3? I'm lowkey satisfied, like alright just fix your estimation system and we are good hahaha read more

This Denny's has a lazy crew that don't want to work at all. They ignore they're phone calls at night. You make a order through doordash or online and they ignore it. When you eventually do contact them they literally say they are closed... Its Denny's, they're always open 24/7 and they have a a nightshift crew in there and answer their phone and tell you they're closed.... I go to the location and they're serving like normal. They just ignore all take out orders because they don't want to work. read more

Such bad food and environment . You think that because it's in a nice area it would be good quality and that the restaurant would be in good condition but it's the complete opposite. Horrible food we found paper in our chicken sandwich. Don't recommend to come at all . read more
