Great service and excellent pizza. A relaxed and friendly sports bar with plenty of TVs.

The most phenomenal food and service. We at here for the first time on Friday and came back on Sunday. We love finding new places to eat with our family, and this place did not disappoint. The halibut special was mouthwatering, and according to our son, he would eat the ribs daily. Our daughter ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it could have fed an army. For dessert we tried the skillet cookie and mousse, and once again, and they were delicious. If food is good but the service is mediocre, it ruins the entire experience. However, the staff checked on us about every two minutes, and even brought a small dish of water and extra napkins for our son who was eating ribs. We'll be back...very soon. Super bad attitude and very slow service, even on a day when it wasn't busy. We used to love coming here with our friends, but sadly we were really disappointed with the staff's attitude today. They didn't seem to care about the guests at all. We waited a very long time even for our drinks, which has never happened to us here before. It took a long time for someone to take our order, and the food took an extremely long time to come out. Meanwhile, we could see the staff laughing and chatting while doing nothing. No one apologized or even said sorry. We wanted to support locals. But we'll just go somewhere else next time. read more

Ok experience but i probably wouldnt be back. I ordered the pasta bolognese. Pasta was a bit undercooked and was flavorless. The dish was a huge portion but not great. Very underwhelming. I also ordered a pomegranate paloma. Its was just ok. Additionally, the service was a bit slow and not too accommodating. Overall, for the price and experience, I probably wont be back. read more

OMG! Like steak? There's a ribeye steak, garlic mash with veggies for only $25. Hello? The sauce on the steak was to die for~bourbon sauce. I mixed with the mashed potatoes and it was divine! See the pour on my wine. Very generous comparable restaurants walking distance away do not pour as generously. (see this restaurant is one street away from "downtown") My favorite server and the server today is Kristie. She will make sure your service is catered to you. For example, I always want ice tea. I'm never out of ice tea. And I drink it fast. Her service is the best. She gives the best recommendations. And of course the chef is yummy. His name is Miguel and he is always looking for ways to to elevate a dish to my liking. Is that not amazing service? See the berries on this dessert. Need I say more? -Bad attitude, careless wait staff- What a fall from grace, I used to recommend this place when I used to do ride share. I used to love their friendly and accurate service. I gave them multiple chances before I wrote this review. On one occasion I attempted to move a bar chair over so my friend and I could sit together and I was told "we don't do that here" Last and final time I was grossly over charged for me and my partner's drinks. I asked the waiter if I really had 8 old fashion's, 2 espresso Martinis and 2 Pliny the elder beers in about 2 hours and he said definitely. I wasn't going to argue while having cocktails, just will never go again! read more

My friend and I were so pleasantly surprised with this meal! Other than bakery treats, this was probably the best meal I had in Monterey. We went on a Saturday evening before a stand-up comedy show and they weren't very busy. We were quickly seated outside and our server was super friendly and attentive. I got the Turn 12 sandwich which was totally loaded with ingredients and came with some of the best truffle fries & aioli I've had in a while! My friend got the Rodeo Salad and kept raving about how good the steak was and how generous the portion was. There was no way we could have eaten more, but the table across from us ordered guacamole and it looked phenomenal. If I lived in this neighborhood, I'd be a regular for sure. read more

A fun place to hang out for just before the show. Our group came in for drinks and lite bites after pub crawling around town. It's a happening vibe with great atmosphere. There were a few servers helping us and it was a nice experience. We ordered up some flatbread pizzas and calamari. read more

Very cool place in downtown Monterey. Wait staff was super nice but I recommend avoiding the bar if you want food. They took good care of us, but it did take a little longer for food than is ideal. I got the Corkscrew burger for dinner. It was excellent. The balsamic onion compote with the cheeses, arugula, and lemon aioli play off each other super well. It was almost refreshing, which I don't know if I would describe any other burger that way. The fries were also killer. read more

I like this place. The salads are great. The food in general is good. They are great with large groups and it is a really big space, so it is easier (quicker) to find a table here than other smaller restaurants in the area when you are fighting conference crowds. read more

Really cool shop with vintage car decor everywhere. We came here around 10pm for a late meal. Kitchen stays open til 12am. The host was attentive and kind. Our waiter looked exhausted. It wasn't too busy but I just assumed he had a bad day or was working multiple jobs before this or smth. We ordered the buffalo pizza and switched out the pineapple toppings with mushrooms. That was very nice . We tried their draft beer and it was smooth. Loved the overall vibe of the place. Our waiter gave us our check and then forgot about us . After 10 minutes, we decided to get up and bring it to our host but the waiter came by and I just handed him in our card with the check. We weren't acknowledged for several minutes even though the place was nearly empty. The server came off rude, inattentive, and honestly unprofessional she even seemed possibly intoxicated. She tried to rush us to order after we clearly said we needed more time. She didn't ask for our drink order and walked off before giving us the chance. When we tried to get her attention, she ignored us until we had to wave her down again. Only then did she tell us the drink machine was "broken." On top of that, she was arguing with another table nearby. The overall service was unacceptable. Staff like this shouldn't be put in front of customers it reflects poorly on the entire restaurant. read more

I used to go here regularly to watch sports. The food was ok though overpriced and there wasn't much for vegetarians--nachos and a cheese pizza. The pizza was usually underdone with floppy crust. But I came to watch sports. I stopped going a few years ago when the bar tender refused to put my college basketball game on because of Monday night football. There were plenty of tvs so he could have put my game on one. This Saturday we gave it another shot. Sat down and there was no bartender at all. Someone finally walked by but didn't greet us or give us a menu. The game wasn't on any of the tvs. If we couldn't even get a menu, and we waited ten minutes, how would we ever get them to assist with tv? They need more staff and they need to realize people go to a sports bar to watch sports. I won't be back again and can't recommend it. 2 Sundays ago around noon I went to this bar which was half empty I asked the woman at the door if they were showing the FC Barcelona game and she basically rolled her eyes and said "this is FOOTBALL season look". I was appalled by her answer last I read it said Turn 12( SPORTS BAR) not exclusively an NFL BAR and come on the place was kindda dead anyways. Don't all Sports bars show all sports from Tennis to MMA? I went to another place down the street which was also half empty and they happily accommodated us as well as change the channel of one of their tvs and put on the Barcelona game, after a few minutes that the game had started a lof of people who were also soccer fans also started coming in and asking to change the other tvs to watch the Barcelona game, when the first half finished the place was packed. read more

I was a server for a long time so I am usually pretty understanding and don't have crazy expectations for restaurants and service but he made us feel like we were completely unwanted. It was slow and we were polite and patient. He barely wanted to take our order and when I asked for a water he didn't respond and then got one 5 minutes later. Stumbled onto Turn 12 after being unsuccessful at finding somewhere to eat. This was truly a lucky find! While other restaurants had us on a wait list for 30-60 mins, we got seated right away. We had lunch at Turn 12 awhile back and the food is good, but unfortunately the prep area, which I saw when going to the bathroom, is filthy. I also saw what appeared to be mouse poop on a table next to me. I overheard the female manager making rude and inappropriate comments about guests and employees. Service is great, went here for my little brother's birthday and they brought out a free chocolate mousse. You HAVE to get there truffle fries whether it's a starter, or on the side. They're the perfect flavor, and the truffle pieces don't fall off the fry. Workers are very understanding and super friendly. Great ambiance and spacing. read more
