I hadn't eaten here in over 20 years. I was amazed at how great it was. Very large portions very reasonable prices. So much better than Ihop. The customer service is incredible. The restaurant is very clean. All the employees offered to help you. read more

The staff here is always so pleasant and attentive. I have to keep coming back for those pancakes. Not sure what they don't them but they are just so fluffy and tasty. My granddaughters get a kick every time they see the robot bring our food out. It's not posh but definitely clean and comfortable. The staff make you feel welcome and special. read more

Enjoyed a meal here one late evening with family. Food is just like I remembered, especially the hash browns. I think our server's name was Joshua. He was incredibly kind when we asked for our steak to be recooked to our preferred temperature and he makes a great cookies and cream milkshake. The prices are extremely competitive, the restaurant is very clean, comfortable and well managed. I have never been disappointed and will continue to enjoy my visits to the Manassas Va Dennys. Probably the worst meal I have ever had, my steak was over cooked and squishy after I asked for medium rare, my hash browns and eggs were cold in the middle and the water tasted like dirty tap water... I asked my server to take my meal off of the receipt and he walked away saying "ill get my boss" with an attitude... after she gets to my table I explain everything to her about my plate and she sarcastically asks me "this isn't your favorite place is it". Tonight I have a great experience at Dennys. The food was well cooked and seasoned to the taste. My waitress was named Maria, who deliever my meal, was very attentive to serving my drink refills and checking to make sure the food was to my delight. **A top server I would suggest. Rude staff and food takes for ever. The atmosphere is chaotic and unwelcoming the floors are dirty and bathrooms are always a mess.

So this is a 5 star "Denny's" review. I'm not saying that Gordon Ramsay need be concerned about losing a Michelin Star to it. Anyway, my son and I rolled into this place at 11pm on a Saturday night and IT WAS PACKED!!! I mean PACKED!!!!! But the manager gives me a pep-talk as I walk in and says he runs a tight ship and will have me seated in 5 minutes. Three minutes later, we're headed to the table. We were trying to have a really nice dinner with some friends and family after being on locked down due to COVID. Well that didn't go so well due to these people seating us down for about 15 mins and forgetting about us. The manager had asked one of the waiters to take our order and the employee told him he was going home. Another employee came in and he told her more than three times to go and take our orders and she completely ignored him. She decided to come to our table when she saw my family and friends get up to leave. No wonder people are very skeptical about going back to Denny's if this is the "service" we're going to get. Employees are rude. I ordered the seasoned breakfast potatoes and they didn't put any of the seasoning that usually comes on them. They are just plain no salt or pepper either. I brought it to someone that identified themselves as regional manager attention and he said I was lying and made an excuse for the employees rudeness. He said they were busy. I understand but you could have offered an apology but he was just as rude as them. I've always heard it comes from the top down. So perhaps poor customer service is acceptable to them.
