This is the first dennys i have been to in a while. Most of the ones I have been to charge casino prices for half the food they used to serve. This one had casino prices but gave you what you paid for. I must say they are used to large parties. We showed up with like 22 people and they took us on. We all sat together but all paid separate. we had lunch today 1/24/24. Instead of the hamburger I ordered I got I got a mixture of the 2 different toppings?? when waitress brought our meal to table she noticed that mine had spicy fries instead of the regular fries I ordered was that okay? I replied yes if you aren't charging me the extra fee? She said no extra! When we got our bill she char us for the expense Fries!! I brought it to her attention-she had no idea how to correct it! she went for help twice and still didn't correct! I got tired of waiting and took the over charge out of her tip. Great service and quick to seat us. But what made this service top notch was our experience we had with Peggy! Before walking in here, wife and I were feeling a bit down on a personal matter. We sat down, and Peggy was taking our order, but as we were giving her our order, there was something about her, that just felt so genuine. She cracked a joke, and from there we talked to her as if she had known us for years. Made my daughter feel at peace, and gave us such good vibes. She definitely is a whole hearted person. A true gem tbh This was truly a blessing getting to know her. Absolutely the worst place ever ! I order food online at 12:45 am for delivery to the casino I was staying at well the delivery sends you a link to "uber direct" mind you there is no way for you to contact the driver no text no call . My order states it will be delivered at 1:40 and NOTHING 2:18 comes around and it says delivered . In between that time I can see the car on the gps so after it says delivered I walked to the main lobby because it was NEVER got Delivered . So I call the restaurant get transferred to an older lady states her name is PATTY and the manager she said she was going to find out what happen well I never heard back. So I Called the restaurant again a young girl name KATELYN answered she said she would get the manager because I now asked for a refund she puts me on hold gets back on and she does the whole introduction again I once again say I'm on hold to speak to the manager PATTY she says this is patty . First off I'm not dumb so don't try to lie ! I can clearly hear the difference in voices so I tell her you are not please pass me to the actually person I was talking to she then tells me that her manager was busy and then asked what she would be able to do for me so I explained to her I need a refund because my food was never delivered she tells me that I would have to contact Uber to get my food refunded but I didn't place my food through actual Uber eats I made it on their website which sent me a link only for the person that was going to be delivering it. So to clarify I had to ask are you telling me that the person who makes the food which is the company does not get no money off of my order? which means yes you guys would be the one to refund my food. She still gave the run around . She clearly was not listening. I needed a refund on my food not on the delivery charge . So I told her no that is incorrect , I paid a specific amount for the actual food and a specific amount for the delivery charge my bank statement can prove that the people to give me a refund would be Denny's but repeatedly stated it's not. Fast service great food. We came to this Denny's on a Sunday morning. All the other breakfast places in the area had more than an hour wait. This place was just as busy but was seated immediately. There were large parties of 12 and 16 that didn't have to wait long. The manager was working his a$$ off moving chairs, cleaning tables and helping the servers. The wait staff looked like organized chaos. They were all helping each other. Everyone was going above and beyond down to the hostess that checked us out. This was another restaurant and they turned it into a Denny's. It's very appealing and the service was fast and friendly. The food was above average. My husband had a burger and I had the grand slam. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon at 12pm with my family of 5. Got seated and legitimately waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming to take our drink orders. We flagged down two other workers to take our order but all they replied with was, "your server will be right with you". There were only 4 other tables present when we were seated. BRAVO.. let me tell you I do not going to Denny's at all because the quality of the food has gone down, not just at my local Denny's in ca but also the the surrounding county's around the area's. But let me tell you today we decided to get some breakfast and man oh man... the food was really really good, whatever this Denny's is doing will continue to have great business and returning customers. For a Denny's five stars, no doubt. One of the nicest ones I've been in, and definitely the best service I've ever had at a dennys. I almost didn't come because the reviews were pretty low and that's why I'm leaving mine. I will definitely come back. Plus, they have vegetarian options with a beyond burger. HORRIBLE experience. This place is very discriminatory. Came here with a group of 9 on 9/24/23 at 10:30am was told it would be 45min wait so we told them we would take 2 tables we did not need to eat together. We saw 8 other parties seated before us ( tables of 4 ) when I went up to ask was told by a BIG LADY very rudely that our table was "being cleaned off" she was rude told me she was the manager and to sit and wait or leave. My family and i went down for a late night bite to eat, we were greeted by the awesome waitress Melissa. She was a joy to have as a waitress. She is the only one there at night and she runs the restaurant by herself and handles it great. She's very attentive and on top of it all. She is a absolutely wonderful person and fun to have as a waitress. She meets all your needs with a positive and fun attitude. I think she does an amazing job for doing it by herself. She is all around the kind of person you would want as a waitress. The cook on the other hand has a different attitude and could use some extra guidance. read more
