Went to have Turkey dinner at your establishment today. The food was hot and pretty decent. The only thing missing was sweet potatoes. Service was excellent: Only one waitress showed up to work today "Kayla" She was AWESOME and handled all the tables with a smile on her face even doing a double. She was so pleasant; though we would have understood had she been a little grumpy. She is an asset to your business. She gave up her holiday with her family to keep the restaurant open. And she made all of our day with her turkey outfit. She deserves some reward for all she did for the customers, and the business. The ambiance was made pleasant because of Kayla. read more

I had exactly half of my order delivered. As I tried to call the restaurant, I got cut off everytime or sent to a line that was loud static. I then selected the option for a new order where I reached a call center. I explained my problem. I was sent to the same static line one time and hung up on the next. I called back insisting on a supervisor where I was offerred the stores #. I have been calling 814.266.4115 only to get answered by loud static after 4 rings. My food was ruined as I spent my time fighting to get my daughters food. I was also too upset to eat after going through all this. Denny i demand a full refund. What a ripoff! read more

Elizabeth waited on us and it was almost like she was on something. She told us that she had messed up the potatoes and someone was fixing them then when our food did come out the potatoes was like water with chunks. She is not polite or anything. Was on phone for 3 days no one would call us back. So today went down and talked with Hanna and ava and they both could not apologize more and fixed what Elizabeth messed up. Foods alright nothing like it used to be. Service sucks due to I went there for breakfast and the server and management where standing around talking. Took them 10min to even give us a menu, my husband and I went to the bathroom omg filthy not even clean there was poop and toilet paper and garbage was over flowing from the day before they didn't even clean them. Service is okay but the noise from the kitchen is bothersome with the yelling and swearing. Food is mediocre. If you sit at some tables be prepared to be lopsided because of the slope of the floor. Bathrooms were clean. For what the new menu prices are you would get a better deal at Chili's. read more

Not bad but not the best either. I have dined at this location on several occasions and have had mixed experiences. First, it is in need of a dire update. When you come in here it seems so dark and dreary. I know it's a chain, but give it some love. One of the other things you will probably notice is the floor and how it slants downwards to the door. I always found that odd. The wait staff are pretty awesome and on their game. They were actually quite entertaining on my last visit and I didn't feel as if I was a bother or vice versa. The food is your typical American diner style food. On one visit it may be the best thing you ate, and then on the next you have to do a double take. This place is worth a look if you just want something simple in this area but not really worth a special trip. read more

Decided not to cook a Thanksgiving meal last year.Two of my best friends had left the planet..... Hard to find a restaurant Open! So, with one friend, decided to try Denny's...no great expectations.... Wow! Such a delicious Turkey dinner! And very nice service on such a busy day! Great food and service! Restaurant wasn't real busy, so the food came out super fast and was delicious. The cinnamon cakes are wonderful.

This is an average Denny's. Not as clean as I'd like. The tables are wiped but the salt shakers etc were dirty, even sticky. The floor wasn't clean. On my last visit, the waitress went home and never told anyone. We sat at our table for 30 mins or so waiting for someone who wasn't even in the building. I have to believe that was a fluke. I have had a couple good visits too. On the upside, the pancakes are great! read more

Horrible..... waited at counter, looking for faster service..... nothing. Not even a "Hello, I'll be right with you". Nothing. I asked the only other patron sitting at the counter if the service was real slow or what the deal was, he just snickered and said he was there for an hour and he just got his food. He said he would not wait...... and he went in there, sat at the counter, same as me, hoping to get faster service. I left..... even as I was leaving, I made sure that they could hear me say that no service I'm not going to sit here and wait I'm out of here. Even then, not a word was said to me. read more

My food obviously sat for a while before bringing it out. The wait staff chats more than they work. Several were complaining about their tips the whole time I was there but maybe if the service was better they would get more tips. I had to ask for coffee to go three times. We went to Denny's for a change of pace. The first thing I noticed was that the place has seen better days. It is in major need of an overhaul. Our booth was quite worn and the carpet had some miles on it. We figured we would get a cheap meal with their 2,4,6,8$ menu. I got eggs, 2 pancakes and bacon. the eggs were good enough but the pancakes were Sahara desert dry and they ration the syrup to you in tiny little shot glasses...It's not hard to make a tasty breakfast. I guess if you stumble in at 2:30 am and are drunk you will not mind these things...This is not to say I am anti Denny's just the one in Johnstown. I have had great food at every other Denny's I have visited. Skip this one there are much better breakfasts in town to be had. Coney Island, Corner Coffee shop and Our Son's come to mind. read more

My husband and I went to this restaurant one day after work to have a quick bite. The lady sat us and said our server would be right with us. Okay. Fair enough. Now, we were sitting in between two other tables who where being waited on by the same man. 20 minutes go by...nothing. No drink order or even an acknowledgment of our existence. I gave him the benefit of the doubt though because I didn't know how he operated; so we waited a few more minutes. At this point it's been about 25 minutes, but I didn't have work in the morning so my husband and I are saying to each other, "Let's see how far this could possibly go." I didn't know it would take an hour and 15 minutes!!! This person has been passing by our table while we had menus and all. Staring at us in the eye and says not a word. Finally I've had enough and put my hand in front of him. Lord have mercy... Then I tell him that we have been waiting for said time and he says, "Oh, sorry, I thought someone was serving you already." Anyway...la de da...he claims he went and talked to the manager (Who NEVER came out to apologize!!!) and we got a free breakfast on our next visit. Service was pretty terrible. The salad and mots sticks came out half an hour after our burgers. Ice tea was awful as well. Burger was tasty enough. Waitress forgot what was in my drink glass three times. Crayon marks all over the wall. All negatives aside it was a satisfying meal, what can you really expect from a Denny's anyway. read more

waited 10 minutes to be seated around 7:00pm Sunday night, The waitress seated us. She was very nice her name was Ta-Niyia, She was also our waitress for our meal. she looked to be running the place by herself! There were other wait staff but they didn't seen to care and were every slow. at good old reliable dennys you get what you want at a price you expect. 2 4 6 8 is a great value. pancakes and eggs are the best options in my opinion. the rest of the menu is good in quality and portion for the money, but i have never been highly impressed at dennys either. i honestly also know a few employees at this location who i am happy to see if my timing is right. nomatter who has served me, i have been satisfied and get the quality of service i expect. read more
