AMBER was our waitress and WOW, her personality is just stellar, she was attentive, professional, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I were taken care of. There were some issues with the coffee cups and not having any clean so she didn't allow for us to continue waiting and brought us fresh coffee in To-go cups! That was a smart move! Our coffee was also a bit on the weak side and she gladly made a new pot! I mean, it really just made for a pleasant experience and I would recommend her to anyone dining at this Denny's! This is my pit stop on my way to Vegas. I avoid the Denny's in Barstow, as their prices seem higher. My BFF and I leave the OC early to beat the traffic, and by the time we hit this Denny's, its time for a break and breakfast. Service is ok, but they haven't messed up my food and that's more important. The staff is friendly, and its freeway accessible. Bonus for me is when I flip a U-turn to get back on the freeway, there's a Sbux across the street for my "road" pick me up. read more

Really hard for them to get your order right, If your ordering online they definitely don't pay attention to Special comments. They give you pancakes no syrup, they give you pancakes syrup, but no butter, you ask for nachos they forget the sour cream. You write scrambled eggs they give you sunny side up. read more

Being starving and a bit upset from such a long drive and moving because of the military, my wife and I were already having a rough day, but we had really amazing service from a waitress/hostess I believe was named Ana Oregon. She was very kind and made sure all the food was on point. The food itself was good, like any other Denny's but what stood out the most to me was the service from her. On Thursday 8/25/22, my wife and I arrived at 6:00am. The night cook was walking out, and the hostess (young kid) said the day cook had not yet arrived. The kid added, "He's always at least 20 minutes late", oh and I can't seat you until the cook gets here. I asked "can't we drink coffee until the cook arrives ?" The kid replied, "no". So there are NO STANDARDS at Denny's restaurant. Employees do as they wish without consequences. This is exactly why this same restaurant almost closed a few years back. People got tired of the "DON'T give a shit" attitude displayed by all the employees here. I'm sure they will close this time around, AND THEY DESERVE IT !!!, EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM , especially the owner who obviously couldn't care any less. IS THERE ANYONE WHO CARES HERE ??? Last time I ate at this location, the wait time for everything was ridiculous. It took the waitress 15+ minutes to ask for our drinks. The crackers that came with the soup looked really old, the skillet was only mildly warm. She forgot the bread that she CHARGED us for, we had to ask another waitress for it. Decided to give it another chance. Ordered a chocolate milkshake (heavenly), a strawberry lemonade (great), two burgers, and a side of bacon cheddar tots (6/10). Stopped in on a whim, wanted more than fast food breakfast. Appreciated that me being alone I was offered the counter to sit at as there was no waiting. Normally I'm there with people and get a table. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and my food came out fast, exactly as it had been ordered. Having spent many years in the restaurant industry myself, I tend to be hyper critical. I look around and notice cleanliness and staff attitudes. On this morning, staff was super cheerful, then I happened to hear the manager complimenting the cooks in back, and at another time a server. This goes a long way in my opinion, it affects how food is cooked and staff interacts with customers. So what made me take to Yelp to review this location? I've had my share of crap experiences at Denny's around the country, I mean get corporate involved crap experiences. I've had a bad experience at THIS location quite a long time ago and want to acknowledge their obvious efforts to make the customer experience better. I don't know if it was just because I was starving but the pancakes were extra delicious for some reason. Only slightly negative observation that took this to a 4 star over 5 star review, sitting at the counter you have a view of the expediting station, I watched a piece of broccolli just sit there and be walked past over 20 times, and the order view screen and touch pad were grimy.
