Holy slow service!!! Probably the worst Denny's I've ever been to. What's even crazier is that there are only 10 active tables, and 4 waitresses...it took over 40 min to get our food. I've been here many times. Service is always prompt, servers smile and are polite and food is always good. They work very hard for their money especially Sunday mornings. Wow! Please don't forget to tip your server. Since the food is so inexpensive no reason not to leave 20%. ;-) read more

If you want to be promptly seated and totally ignored for 20 minutes, than this is the restaurant for you. I went in for dinner, I was promptly seated, read my menu, placed it on the table, and was totally ignored. One waiter was bussing tables right next to me, and didn't even notice. The waitress was chatting up a storm holding a baby and didn't even acknowledge me. After 20 minutes, I got up, told the hostess "See ya", and stormed out the door. On my way out I heard her tell a co-worker that nobody took my order. She went to the waiter who was bussing tables, pointed to where I was seated, and all he did was shrug his shoulders. Unbelievable! Bypass this place at all costs! By the way, there was only 6 occupied tables, so it wasn't that busy to at least get a glass of water! read more

We went there for my birthday in a group of four. The breakfast we ordered was excellent and so was the service from both Sammy and Carrie, plus I received a discount for my birthday. It was awesome and I would highly recommend Denny's. read more

Terrible quality food! I ordered a steak and it came out with blood all over it. What did they do? Grill a live cow. Would not recommend if you want to eat your steak. Not barf all over it. Also, food takes to long to come out and staff seem really bored of what they are doing. read more

Our breakfast today was horrible. My Santa Fe skillet looked pathetic. The sausage looked like it came from Purina. My wife's bacon was extra greasy. She didn't get any syrup with her pancakes. No coffee refills. All for $24 bucks. It's not the first time we got lousy service and nasty food. Last time I complained I got nothing but a shrug and a smirk from the kids at the front register. My 2 teenage children attempted to go here last night for dinner together. They had stopped somewhere else first (Twist and Shout - who were lovely to them but closing) and got 2 milkshakes. Then on to Denny's to eat. The woman who greeted them VERY rudely and condescendingly said, "You're trying to bring something in from somewhere else, that isn't happening." My kids had cash and know to tip AT LEAST 20%. They were also planning to purchase 2 dinners including beverages. Instead, they left and went elsewhere. Denny's menu is varied and very good. The addition of mimosas is great! Last night (July 2) the service was poor and our server needed several requests before bringing us what we needed. What was especially annoying was the staff being very loud and boisterous behind the counter and in the kitchen. They must have thought customers couldn't hear them! Not a pleasant dining experience. We complained to the manager, who unfortunately was the loudest offender, but they did try to keep it down a bit after that. Not very professional for a restaurant to have the staff louder than the customers. read more

Sat down and waited 10 minutes before we saw anyone to get a drink order. Then we ordered and didn't see anyone for another hour. We ended up getting up telling the manager how long we had been waiting fir eggs and pancakes in a empty restaurant and then left. I see no reason to ever go back. Disappointed. It's been a while since I've been to Denny's, and now I kind of remember why. We arrived hoping to have some pie for National Pie Day, Mentioning the reason we were there to the hostess before she even status. I wasn't aware Denny's doesn't have pie anymore, and even though the hostess knew why we were there, she neglected to tell us that they don't have pie before seating us. We had seven people and could only sit in booths due to Covid so we were given two booths while waiting on a couple more people to arrive. As we were sitting there the same person that gave us the two booths seated someone else in the second booth, still waiting for the remainder of our party. We decided to make it national dessert day, ordering lava cake and apple crisp à la mode. 25 minutes after ordering The waitress came out and told us that they had just put in the apple crisp to bake, and it would be 30 minutes. Needless to say we left without pie, without dessert and extremely disappointed. Thank goodness for McDonald's and their small pies! We were able to celebrate National Pie Day! read more

New Years Eve my mother and I about 11pm and were treated by a very friendly staff. I had the chicken fried steak sizzling skillet and was impressed by the amount and quality of the dish. The highlight of the meal, however, was the coffee. It was almost perfect. I have not had a better cup of coffee in a very long time. Definitely will try again before I fly home. read more

So this review is about customer service. (The food is Denny's food so it doesn't really change up much.) My dad, daughter and I ate here a few days ago and had Amelia as our server. Omg! Hands down best personality and server I've ever had at ANY restaurant ever!!!! She was witty, playful and polite all at the same time. She made us feel so comfortable and we laughed so hard! While paying for the check, the girl at the register (her name was Cassandra or something clos to that) was also very funny and awesome! Normally most people just tip their server, but we tipped Amelia AND Cassandra because they were both so awesome! If there's any way they could get a raise or bonus or promotion, they need it! Breakfast is excellent and service. I do not recommend coming for dinner as they are always out of food such as Halibut, rice, turkey bacon. This is very recent as I understand they are under new ownership. A restaurant should not run out of food. The place is filthy. I sat facing my husband in the back and you could see all kinds of food stains on wallpaper, went to use the bathroom and it was very dirty. Dust all over, urine stains on the stall and you could see it doesn't really get much cleaning. I'm surprised because most of the Denny's I've ever been to are real clean. I'd be scared to look in the kitchen! While their grits were good and we had a sweet waitress; I was too distracted by the food on the wall. We ate, left and won't be back. read more

I have been to this restaurant before, and usually it's pretty good. We went this morning at about 10:30 or so for breakfast. We were put on a waiting list, and we waited for about 10 minutes. No big deal. We got seated and our waiter came over fit right away. We already knew what we wanted so we placed our order. Everything came out in a timely manner. I had the all you can eat pancakes, and they were pretty good. My husband had the senior chicken fried steak. He also had chicken and noodle soup and a salad with it. His soup had absolutely no noodles in it, and very very few chicken pieces in it. His salad was good, but his steak and gravy was very very salty. He could not finish it. But here was the real kicker. The waiter came back and it was about to hand us our ticket, without even asking if we wanted anything more nor did he refill our coffee and sodas. He started to handle the ticket, but I asked him if I could have one more pancake. So he went back and supposedly ordered another pancake. The restaurant was busy, but there were still several tables that were empty, and none of the waiters seem to have a sense of urgency about getting their job done. In fact our waiters stood up by the door between the register and the kitchen. Another waitress spent a lot of her time visiting with her friends at the table next to us okay, so obviously it wasn't that busy. I finally asked my waiter as I approached the cash register if I could have my receipt. As he shuffled through his receipts oh, he noticed that I was supposed to have another pancake. That's when he asked if I still wanted it. I said no and he said well I guess I have to go back and stop them from making it. Well this was at least 20 minutes after I ordered it. Still we did not get asked if we wanted any refills or if we wanted anything else for that matter. The cashier realize that I was not really happy and asked if she should get the manager. I said no as I don't want the waiter to lose his job. But I did tell the waitress that I usually tip up to 20%, but I was not giving this waiter anything. So we paid our bill and out the door we went. What I go back? Yes but not on a Sunday morning! read more

If you like walking into a sauna of breakfast grease, you've come to the right place. I get its known for breakfast but I didn't want to go on the rest of my day smelling like grease. Turn up the air please. Food was ok. Pancake puppies came out burnt and dry. Server handed us a kiddie cup that was displayed above server station ledge that was exposed to a layer of dust and grease from the vent above. I cleaned it myself with a baby wipe. (Wipes to the rescue) I never got a chance to ask for napkins since the server never checked on us during our meal. (Wipes to the rescue again) It was not busy at all. Maybe 7 tables. Tables felt sticky, booth was dingy, and carpet... been there for 20 yrs maybe??? No excuse for the service we received. I should charge them for the amount of wipes I used. I go to this Dennys often with my sister. I almost always get the senior chedder eggs with bacon and sausage and pancakes. I almost never finished the meal it is so big, but they are always friendly and I take whats left home in a little box. The people are always friendly and the atmosphere is generally quiet even when crowded. The prices are very reasonable and they come up with new items often. Their cinnamon roll pancakes are to die for! Thanks to all at Dennys for being professional and having such great personalities. read more

Service here has always been spotty over the years. Sometimes it's GREAT and sometimes it horrible. You just never know what to expect, so I don't go that often. My husband and I went last weekend because it was 11pm and nothing else was open. There was only 1 waitress there that I could tell and after she asked for our drink order, she proceeded to work on making a shake for another table. She was struggling with making the shake because it was too thick. In the meantime, 10 minutes goes by and we still didn't get our sodas nor give our food order because she never came back. There were only 2 other tables with people at them --- 1 waiting for the shake and the other eating. While we keep waiting, a couple comes in for a take out order. They wait a while and finally she goes to take their order. By then it's about 20 minutes since we gave our drink order and never got the drinks and never got to give our food order. And she's taking a take out order from people who came in WAY after us. We left and didn't eat. I can't say I'll never be back because I love their club sandwiches and sometimes the service is good. But they are way down on our list of places to go and would probably only go if other places are closed for the night. read more

Moons over my hammy was tasteless and there was more egg than bread. Ham was burnt. Hash browns were hard and burnt. Waiter came back after and said toaster got on fire to order something else. Ordered broccoli soup which was good and as soon as I finished it they brought out club sandwich.. had to put sandwich pieces in order since it was just thrown on plate. Well. It USED to be good. I guess they lost their cooks and waitstaff when they did the renovation - because now - service and food are subpar. The renovation sucks...the seats are hard and uncomfortable, and given their demographic (elderly) - hard to get out of. I had written to their HQS and told them that there was a Chinese restaurant nearby that had raised booths, and that Denny's might want to look at doing that in their reno - but they chose to ignore it - never even responded. We went back twice after the reno - assuming that the first visit we might just have gotten unlucky with the cook - but after the 2nd bad experience - we were done. read more

We Came here to eat on my moms birthday we spend around $80 something. They never come to our table refill our water. The workers just sand there talking to each other. And Usually you get a Grand Slam for free or discount on your birthday. One of my friend told who works here. But we didn't order a Grand Slam and we are still able to get the discount but they wouldn't offer to us I asked to speak with their manager the server said manager is busy right now. And I was still waiting for like five minutes talking to managers. Never show up! His is not how you do business! Anyway We would never come back to this place again. read more

I called in a 16 person order at around midnight on Saturday for work. I needed it to be done accurately, finished on time and named. Gabriel went above and beyond the call of duty. Because the to-go boxes are black, he had to painstakingly write out each name and order on a piece of paper and staple them to each box. He could have left me to fend for myself but Gabriel took the initiative to do this and it was so helpful. I couldn't be more grateful for his hard work. Thank you for making my job easier! read more
