First off this restaurant could use a through'll cleaning. Walls are dirty, booths have dirty seating, the men's bathroom was dirty and needs cleaning, the serving area had food orders stacked on top of each other, the overall food prep area was quite messy! The food we order was greasy and not very tasty. I cannot recommend this restaurant for dining. A good cleaning is needed! I got a stomach ache from my food. The service was good though! read more

This location in Green Valley, Az, has new management and is no longer honoring discounts to AARP or Military. They want you to sign up for a "rewards" program and you get a free cup of coffee. Most of the people that live in Green Valley are elderly or retired Military. We immediately left and took our business elsewhere. Denny's in Tucson still honors discounts. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Denny's. From the moment we were seated, the experience was unacceptable. It took approximately an hour just to receive our drinks, and our server, Julie, appeared completely inattentive to our table. After waiting so long, I eventually had to go to the counter myself to retrieve our drinks because they never made it to the table. Throughout the visit, no drink refills were offered, and Julie's attitude gave the impression that she simply did not care about the customer experience. The food situation was even worse. After waiting roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes for our meal, the wings arrived burnt and tasted old. The fries were covered with such an excessive amount of salt and pepper that the seasoning was literally falling off of them. When I finally got Julie's attention to explain the issue with the fries, she did something I have never experienced at any restaurant. She reached onto my plate, took one of my fries, and ate it in front of me to test it herself. I found this extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. When it came time to pay, I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager about my experience. Julie told me that she was the supervisor/manager, although I am not convinced that was actually the case. Regardless, she continued to display a poor attitude and showed no concern for resolving the issues or addressing my complaints. When I asked for her name, she identified herself as Julie. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had. I am requesting that corporate review this situation, investigate the service provided during this visit, and contact me regarding the outcome. Customers should not have to wait nearly two hours for food, retrieve their own drinks, receive poor-quality food, or have a server eat food directly from their plate. I would appreciate a response from corporate regarding this matter. read more

We go to Denny's at least every other week. Best hamburgers in Green Valley and absolutely delicious coffee ( which I drink black!) I have read the reviews here and amazed at some comments. Most of the time the staff is wonderful, but sometimes they get rushed. We may have to wait a few minutes for our orders. It depends upon how many people are in the restaurant. If we order something that is not up to par, we send it back! They always graciously bring another order, e.g. no salt on french fries. They may err but they always graciously do it over again. You can make substitutions. Cool it critics. You are not at the French Laundry, if you even know what that is..Best pancakes ever! read more

We have gone to this Green Valley Denny's on a regular basis, at least once a week, for the past 25 years! The food and coffee is always delicious, but the people working there are like family to us! Pamela and Julia have been wonderful serving us over all those years. Sharon was our last server, and she is just as fantastic! John is the current manager and far exceeds any others. We see him working and stepping in wherever he can help. We highly recommend this Denny's to anyone looking for a great experience! read more

I've always liked Denny's for a morning meal. In my opinion it rates a higher score then posted. I come in the door and someone always says "Hi", it kind of makes my day. I have a little favorite seat in the front in which I can observe the people coming in and out of the restaurant. My favorite order is from the "Senior Menu", Chicken Fried Steak with two sides. On 10/30/2024, I came in and found my favorite seat and settled in for a nice breakfast. It was kind of crowded with the noon rush but my server, Bernadett S. was right there with hot coffee and flavored creamer, my favorite. I made my order and waited for a relatively short period when it was served. Oh no, I had received cottage potatoes instead of mashed potatoes with gravy. A wonderful lady saw my dilemma and asked if everything was alright? I told her about the potatoes and she was gracious enough to say "I'll take care of that". Wow so fast. Her name is Virginia S. and she is a manager stepping in for the vacationing manager, John. We stopped here on our way to Rita Ranch because it was one of the only places still open after a cross country meet in Rio Rico. We entered the restaurant and waited and waited to be seated. There were no other visible customers. After awhile, we heard a loud hacking noise from the back and decided maybe this wasn't the best idea after all. We went outside to our truck and saw three employees outside who looked like they were taking a smoke break but also looked surprised to see us. This Dennys is at a very great location, as it is always very busy. The food is typically good, typical diner food. However, I'm absolutely appalled by the attitude of your manager, Angela.
