there is only one word for a restaurant that has empty tables , yet leaves you waiting at the host stand 10 min to only finally tell you the "the wait list is closed" - AVOIDABLE. Saturday 11/2, 12 noon Clearly poorly managed and un-concerned about customers, this location represents the worse that Denny's has to offer. I don't usually go to many chains so I rarely go to Denny's. But I am missing out. There are not enough stars to express how enjoyable my breakfast was at this Denny's. An old school Grand Slam breakfast with the best pancakes I have had in ten years, AT LEAST. But more importantly the employees were so welcoming and turned a rough travel day into a joy. They don't have many Denny's where I live but I wish this one wasn't 200 miles from my house. It's spectacular. Thank you to yelp for reminding me that I forget the old school diner ambiance. Our waitress was Dejane (I think) and she was so nice and attentive! She was constantly checking on us and refilling our drinks etc. The food was also great! Loud! Music too loud for conversation which means people are speaking even louder than necessary. Not a quiet relaxing experience. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup which could have been hotter but still had excellent flavor. My husband ordered the club sandwich which didn't come until I'd all ready finished my soup. The sandwich was nice, on an interesting bread with seeds, and had chicken, lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Very tasty. Unfortunately, the fries were cold. Don't go here on the weekends, very very busy. We went some time ago on a Sunday to have lunch before I went to work. The wait for a table was not that long, it was approximately 10 to 15 min. The issue that I had was the wait for food. Once we were seated, our server greeted us within 5 min and asked us what we wanted to drink. We already knew what we wanted once she came back with our drinks. While waiting, we waited and waited. We got there some time before 1pm and time was dwindling down. We had more than enough time to eat together before I went to work. But that was not the case, I had to leave out and walk to work and leave with no food to eat. But from what I was the manager did address our concern and assisted my husband after I left. Thank you. read more

Be prepared to wait double the amount of time you are quoted for a carry out order called in. Waited 15 minutes in the parking lot only to walk in the place where only a half dozen tables were waited on, and a waitress out front tells me she'll go get my order from the kitchen. Ten minutes later and with no sight of her, I just left feeling very disappointed. Only six tables with customers and they can't get a carry out order finished in a full 25 minutes? This place is not getting any of my future business, as I drove to the McDs down the road and got my food in two minutes. Good luck trying to survive these bad economic times, Denny's! read more

It's 9:30 and after standing at the hostess desk for about 15 minutes a manager just walked over and shook her head. So I ask what does that mean, "no in here" "you not eaten in here we closed". This is after we checked all updates to see what time they close. 11pm. You won't survive doing this while you have a a few customers in line that I'm sure won't be eating for an hour and half. Was close to our hotel so had it for breakfast once and it was good. Had it for a late night dinner after the ravens game when everything else was closed and it was amazing. So very good. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I've worked in the food service industry for eight years and I'm 23--I don't expect much. This was so horrible that I feel the need to write a review, which I have never done before. Last night, I ordered a vegetarian burger to pick up. When I went to pick up my order, the two waitresses were sitting and talking on the bench by the front door, so I figured they were customers waiting to be seated. After a good minute of me standing there and them continuing their conversation passed, one of them looked at me and said in the most unfriendly voice, "are you picking up an order." "Yes," I replied. Those were the only words exchanged between us as they passed me the order and I walked out. No "is it for Madeline?", "here you go, thanks," or anything. They were both just staring at me rudely the entire time. Neither one of them even hinted at a smile. I felt like I was wrong for coming into their restaurant, then I remembered they were the rude ones. As I walked out, I heard the younger lady joking that "She's drunk." I should have turned around, walked back in, and smacked her, but I have the flu, so I didn't feel up to it. Also, my burger had completely fallen apart and there was butter on my toast, which doesn't usually come on toast when I've ordered it. It's important to mention that these two women were working the night shift, I'd imagine the manager puts friendlier servers on the morning and afternoon shifts. Other than that the whole experience of this Denny's was absolutely horrible, I know they are busy on weekends but management should surely plan for that however we were seated fairly quickly I'd say within 20 minutes but the experience went downhill from there the waitress quickly came in took our drink order and came back within five minutes And took our food order So that part of the experience came pretty quickly I'd say 25 minutes after we stepped foot in the restaurant we had already placed our food orders So I thought it was going to go pretty smooth however it took 45 minutes for them to get our food out and then one of our meals was wrong My daughter had ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they came out as plane my daughter did not want to wait for new pancakes to be made So the waitress decided to bring out a little cup full of chocolate chips she also forgot refills on all our drinks after I asked the 2nd time I asked we did get refilled I'm not a big fan of hearing a whole bunch of excuses I just want the problems fixed I think the most disappointing thing was they didn't take the chocolate chip pancakes off the check or offer any kind of discount being as we had to wait 45 minutes I would not of been so upset to wait 45 minutes if I wouldn't have seen people that were seated after us getting up to leave and pay before us which means our order was just not placed or the kitchen screwed up everything. Update 12-15-18 and had another horrible experience I actually had to request the manager and I ended up leaving and only keeping one meal out of 5. Me and 4 of my kids ordered Santa Fe skillets and they all came out disgusting. The potatoes were literally soggy, the skillets were not sizzling, the eggs were supposed to be over easy but were barely cooked the whole eggs were clear and runny, and the cheddar cheese was barely melted. I asked the server what was going on in the kitchen because these didn't look appetizing at all, she shrugged her shoulders And said I don't no. At this point I was getting kind of irritated so I asked to speak to the manager, I explained to the manager what was going on and she came over and looked at Are Santa Fe skillet and she literally said this is how they're supposed to be made. I explained her that we frequent Denny's and we always order the same thing because we love the Santa Fe skillets and they have never looked this unappetizing. She immediately blamed the waitress instead of trying to correct the situation she said the waitress was the one who is supposed to crisp the skillets so then I asked her why the potatoes look so white like they were barely cook as well is why the eggs were cooked and she just offered to remake them no apology nothing. At this point I was very frustrated so I just decided to leave I asked her to please take the four skillets off of my bill and I would gladly pay for the appetizer sampler my daughter ordered as well as the drinks. I did expect her to comp us for something. Instead all I got was more excuses she's explained to me that she did offer to remake them for me which I understand but basically once you come to my table and just act like it's no big deal that you're making crappy food I'm just going to choose to leave. I paid for the drinks we ordered as well as the appetizers and we left. I'm not sure what's going on with this location but the management as well as the employees just seem to not care. read more

Im not usually a Dennys fan or any other breakfast chain restaurant...all the food taste the same to me. However I went to this location tonight with my fam expecting mediocre food. I got the build a burger with all the fixings(lettuce, tomato,onion,pickle) seasoned fries and a vanilla milkshake. I added bacon,american cheese and extra patty to my sandwich. It was really good as I was eating but I noticed no pickle taste so I asked waitress Hannah for pickles. I was notified that they were out smh and bruh I almost cried lmao. I would have been little happier if cook had told her that from jump. I got jalapenos which is something I love but burn my mouth so good . My son got spaghetti which is just sauce over noodles without meat ..you have to pay extra for meatballs smh. He ate all of it along with a side of grapes. By far the slowest service I've ever experienced. When an order is supposed to be ready at 3:21, but you don't get it until 3:27, that's a bit much in my opinion. I recently visited this location & was rudely greeted by a waiter by the name of Tamia. She dragged her feet coming over to seat us while looking very disinterested. When I asked her about the digital QR code for the menu on the table she pointed at the menu on the other end of the table and said very smartly "the menu is right there" like we were expected to know the menu wasn't digital by the big QR code on the table that says view our menu. Me and boyfriend came into Denny's Sunday morning... we had half poor service. Not only that what He ordered He don't believe that it was cooked properly. He ordered a French toast slam. Eggs over easy... bacon... sausage... and a side of grits. As the day went on he started to feel sick to his stomach. That was all He ate for the day. He started sweating and pooping excessively at work and had to leave. A few hours later he started to vomit uncontrollably. It's now Monday morning and he still feels sick to his stomach.
