I am trying to remember how long I have been eating breakfast at Denny's. I will be conservative and say 50 years. I have eaten so many Grand Slams they must be a part of me. For most of my life it was two over easy, all sausage and pancakes. Now I am allergic to raw eggs so it is two scrambled, all sausage and pancakes. They call what I get a senior slam now (I'm 81 y/o) for some reason. Other meals are good there too, it's just that my habit is to stop there for breakfast. Only reason why I'm giving them a 5 star review is because our waitress Stacey was the best.! She constantly came over. She was nice and friendly with GREAT customer service.! She was the only waitress working hard and constantly checking up on her table. I'm glad she was our waitress and not those other lazy ones that were just talking. Stacey if you ever read this: you are the best.! Keep working hard.! You go girl .! Get it .! And if the manager ever reads this she needs to be recognized for her hard work.! read more

There were bugs in the salad! The food was over cook! The pancakes were black! The waiter Joe sucked, when we asked for things he would take about 5 minutes or more to bring it to our table. For example I asked him for lemon when we got our drinks and I didn't get my lemon until I was done with my food! read more

They brought us in and set us down. Then just left us there. No one offered to get us a drink or anything. They set down another couple in the table next to us and took their order right away. Finally we just got up and left. We went to IHOP 1 mile away. They were awesome ! read more

So we stayed next store at the Clarion and went to dinner here . Food was ok, service was slow waiter was nice , and the person who took our credit card to pay for the bill charged the wrong bill to credit card . Big inconvenience since it was 2 am . Horrible service other tables that got there after us were getting their food first I asked for refill of coffee to a waitress walking around cause ours never came to check on us but never got it finally I called our waitress so she could get us coffee and took her about 5minutes to come back told her I didn't want any we just wanted boxes so we could leave I'll continue to go to Denny's on dogwood so much better service read more

Food was perfect, but there's literally 7 tables here with 5 waitresses and 2 male supervisors??? I still waited long enough that I got up walked with my mug to the drink station and poured my own coffee... Guess they only take care of their assigned tables here, go figure. read more

I went here by myself the other day because I was craving a cup of hot tea and salad..I'll start off by stating that I use to work at a restaurant so I know what should be expected of the host and waitress/server...when I arrived, there was no, "Hi, welcome," she just stared at me so I said "table for 1, please." She sat me down, table still had crumbs, wiped it with my napkin, no biggie.. waitress comes, no, "hello, may I start you off with anything to drink?", just, "are you ready to order?" and I'm thinking like "no, lady, I just sat down." But that's whatevs (I have A LOT of patients for people). I ordered my tea, they gave me honey packets and a Lipton ice tea bag, a cup and hot water...first of all, the honey packets were a sticky mess secondly, I spent 3 spankin dollars on a LIPTON tea bag and water wtf... anyways, I finally ordered my salad, one that was nearly $10..wait 15 mins and get this small, and I mean SMALL bowl of salad, looked nothing like the picture-speed up- get my check and realized she put down the wrong salad (which was very unfortunate for me because I was reeally looking forward to that salad) and she didn't tell me that i pay up front. No one was at the front for the 5 mins I sat there, waiting for someone to take my payment, so I walk to the front, wait a couple minute and couldn't help but think, "damn, I could literally just walk up out this b****," but I'm not like that. If i could rate at zero stars I would. I most definitely agree with the other comments on the bad service at this particular Dennys. Not only was the service bad but the waitress there wouldn't stop flirting with me while I was there with my girlfriend. When I made it clear that her behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and that I was not interested, the service got worse, which I didn't think was possible. That Denny's is in danger of a massive sexual harassment lawsuit if they chose to continue that form of customer service. She identified herself as Stacy. She kinda looks like MImi from the Drew Carey show. I think she was under the influence of something. I will not revisit that place nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Very slow service. Not crowded. People are neither very nice, nor very rude. On the lower average of the Denny's I've been at.

I'm sitting here, waiting for my food, which is taking forever, thirsty, because the water i asked for 10 minutes ago never got here, and my coffee cup has been empty for almost as long. The wife and I went to this Dennys to get breakfast. Usually I get pretty good service here but the morning crew on 02/02/15 was bad! We stepped in and waited to get seated. Boy did we wait. Customer service was non existing. We got looks from the staff but seemed like no one wanted help us. The place wasn't packed so I don't understand why some of the other servers we're just standing around the far end of the bar. Got upset and left. I usually have a pleasant experience at Denny's but today was just terrible. First off my breakfast order was wrong and the person who brought us the food went and told the waitress. The waitress never came to see what the problem was and instead I had to ask for the manager. After explaining the issue to the manager the manager didn't bother to fix it. Instead they took the food and left the pancakes and was just for the pancakes. I guess I won't be coming back to this locations would have left a zero star rating if I could. read more

This is the review for the Denny's on Ocotillo Drive. The one next to the Amigo Room Bar and/or club. This is a competent Denny's. I haven't had problems there but I have heard some real horror stories about stuff being served cold. Overall, its a freaking Denn'ys so don't expect anything more. read more

I have been waiting for my food and I noticed that the waitress, has forgotten about us. Three per table right off we ordered 10 pancake puppies and its been 15 minutes and nothing. Three of us and only two sets of utensils were brpught to the table. My roommate ordered coffee and there was only one packaged sugar and Corina our waitress never came back to see if we had all of the accessories at our table. My son went looking for any server and asked for more coffee, sugar and utensil. When Corina came back all she did was pour more coffe into the cup which by now was semi-cold, wow couldn't get a fresh brewed coffee. Well food arrived everyrhing was okay except for my son"s food it looked like they cheated him out on the sandwich. One thing my Ice tea was very plain. When we first walked in, waited to be seated. The waitress was fine, but although not very busy, there were unclean tables everywhere. The a/c ducts leaking right over us with what appeared to be tiny pieces of ceiling tiles falling to the table. If not that, it could've been the cobwebs floating down. Overall, this place was filthy! Blinds, ledges etc. Disgusting. Salt and pepper not filled, no sweetners. All the while, the larger girl in the front that was wearing a light blue shirt(she knows who she is) and was acting hostess, had the personality of a corpse. When my husband went to pay, she only asked if he was going to add a tip to the card. Not so much as "how was your meal? Was everything ok?" Oh, and wouldn't dare to ask for eye contact, a smile, or any kind of salutation. I am now entertaining the thought, by her clothing and large ring of keys, that she may be a manager. Could it be? If people are simply passing through and stopping for a meal, I would certainly recommend passing the Dennys off the highway on imperial. We walked in and noticed plenty of food including 2 burgers that caught our eye just sitting on the counter, waiting to be served. Our server came to take our order, stating that she would bring us our appetizers first then our meals. We waited 45 minutes. No appetizers. No meal. It wasn't packed. The server didn't make one attempt to come by and check up on us. There were no huge parties. We walked out and saw the same food, including the 2 burgers, still on the counter. Hostess saw and looked embarrassed. Overall, really poor service. Don't bother coming here. read more

Worst service ever! Decided to sit in the bar area that way we could enjoy a drink while we eat. Took her 20 mins to acknowledge us once she did took another 20 just to bring us our drinks... mind you it was dead! That's not the worst part the 20 mins we waited for the drinks it was 3 sprites 1 coke.... still took an additional 20 for the alcohol beverages.... she finally decided to bring us menus.... once we finally received our food she never brought us silverware.... we had to get it ourselves. It's Denny's. Exactly what you'd expect-- nothing's really fresh and all cook-by-numbers. Service gets the job done, but that's about it.

Well my husband and I go to Dennys at least every 2 weeks. Today I got a coupon from them which states BUY ONE ENTREE AND GET ONE FREE in BIG BOLD letters. Underneath in parenthesis it said that breakfast was from 6AM to 11AM. Well we ordered two entrees and two beverages but the cash register would not accept it. The cashier went to the 'manager' and told us the coupon was only for breakfast from 6AM to 11AM. Whoever wrote this coupon needs to be more specific. Considering this is a 24 hour restaurant that limitation for breakfast is a bad decision. We went at their slowest time around 2 to 3 PM which is when a smart business would want more customers not to bunch them up in the morning. This Dennys is usually very busy at that time. read more
