Here is what I thought about the experience. Ambiance: 4 STARS It's a cute and charming small town restaurant. The restaurant feels like an open large comfortable space. It's clean, with a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The decor is simple, but fun with the signs that say funny things. Service 4.5 STARS Noah was my waiter and he was great. He was friendly, helpful and polite. He took very good care of me and my friend. The food came out quickly and was served hot. Food: I have to do a separate break down. Somethings were great and other items were not so great. Salads 5 STARS Salmon 2.5 STARS Veggies 3.5 STARS Mashed Potatoes 3.5 STARS Sliders 2.5 STARS The Lemon Grilled Shrimp Salad was heavenly. The salad dressing was delicious. The shrimp were grilled perfectly and seasoned to perfection. It had fresh lettuce and vegetables. I highly recommend it. The Strawberry Spinach Salad was another winner. The salad dressing was scrumptious. It was a Cabernet vinaigrette. The nuts, cranberries and feta cheese complimented the strawberries and spinach perfectly. The salmon was blackened and looked great presentation wise. It was salty though and I had to send it back. The veggies and potatoes were good though. The sliders were a bit of a disappointment. This is listed as a favorite. They were so overcooked and dry. There was no seasoning or flavor. The onions were barely on the burger. I should have said extra onions. I should have sent it back, but chalked it up. So what I will say is order salads here it's better than the real food. I would definitely give them another chance for other proteins though. Drinks were decent, but I really didn't taste any alcohol in my drink. The prickly pear margarita looked great. Overall a good experience and I loved the small town charm. Everyone was friendly and I left full and almost satisfied. I definitely will be back again as I'm already planning another trip.

In my opinion, The Clinkscale has the best breakfast tacos I have ever tasted. Everything tastes fresh, and I like their coffee, too. Their other menu items look great as well, so I will have to try another food item the next time I am in Jerome. I like how the atmosphere makes you feel like you are taking a trip back in time, as the building has been around for a while. The best part about The Clinkscale, however, is the service. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and more than happy to offer suggestions. I remember when my family and I went up there a few years back, and our server, Jeff, made us feel right at home. The other staff members are also great, as they make everyone feel welcome within the establishment. I have been back there a couple of times since then, and I have had a wonderful experience each time. Next time I am in Jerome, I look forward to visiting again and encourage anyone in the area to stop by and check it out.

Presentation was blah but taste is what mattered. The beef gyro came in a nice hearty pita that stayed together. The meat portion was generous. There was a bit more lettuce than I'd prefer but it was fresh. I'd opt for additional red onion next time and the cucumber sauce was creamy and just really good. No overpowering flavors. We couldn't have felt more welcome or had better dining experiences on both visits. WINE: Manzanita has a decent selection of wines by the glass and bottle. It's not the largest, but there's something to pair with all dishes. Both times we had a fantastic bottle of Zinfandel from Geyserville, CA, which paired great with our meat entrées. The bottle price is very reasonable, as we used to be members of that winery and know what they charge. FOOD: Outstanding gourmet game specialties and German delights.
