Poor service,cold food my father and I been there twice,had order mixed up,cold French toast,mention to the hostess she comment the cook isn't very bright and sucks ,so she proceed to tell the manager,then shocked me starts bickering with the cook,1min later he walks out the kitchen out the front door,that's when we checked out ,then we came back give it a second chance walked in ,once again didn't get helped so we table ourselves ,we just sat down ,then my father got up after 15min asked for a coffee and waitress looked at him and ignored him and went to another table to help another couple who just walked in ,I don't understand how hard it is to be a dennys hostess but I guess common courtesy isn't one !!!!!! Came really late with my close friends this morning at 3/4am. Our server Emilio was super rad! He was very nice, checked up on us and he was just really sweet guy. He has awesome customer service and i'm bummed i haven't dealt with him before! Thanks Emilio, you kick ass and the fact you still had a smile at the crack of dawn..you're hands down you're the coolest. Of my experiences here, I have not been through the same as previously mentioned reviews, so I can't say it's anything beyond what I've personally experienced while dining there. I never come to a Denny's expecting much. I got my average service served with my average meal. One of the worst dennys ever. Came in with my 2 and 4 year old and got seated then watched as both servers went in the back three different time for three minutes. Needless to say it took them another five minutes to come and finally get our orders. Yes grand total of 14 minutes before our orders. When ordered we waited five more minutes before we got our drinks. It seems the servers dont really have a sense of time or children. They need to over haul the whole denny's. Not to mention the entrance from the street has the biggest pothole turned to sinkhole I have ever seen. I'm giving this Denny's 4 stars because is 10x better then the one on University in Riverside. The waitress was nice and friendly, and they didn't try to scam us like the other Denny's. I got the $4 make your own wrap that comes w/ 2 tacos of fried or grilled chicken with your choice of 3 sauces, BBQ, Chipotle, or Buffalo, and a side of either chips and salsa or fries. I think that's a great deal for $4 !! For the bbq and buffalo get the fried chicken (for better taste) I normally get grilled chicken with chipotle because it's not so heavy in the tummy :D One thing I did notice was, a Denny's in Las Vegas choppes the chicken smaller so it fits in your taco better. This Denny's was a lil more sloppy so there's a giant piece of chicken in your taco. I came to Denny's and got exactly what I came for. I know this isn't a high end restaurant, I'm not looking for Chardonnay and some veal. The service isn't perfect but c'mon... IT'S A CHAIN. read more

Well first of all I went in a few weeks ago with my husband and we ordered hot chocolate when I went to drink it I noticed something floating and it was a opened empty sugar packet And the food took at least 30 mins.... so I decided to give them another try and use their online ordering online ordering went smooth but then they call me and say they don't have a chef until 6 in the morning and I can't get her refund until after 6 when the manager comes in and I would have to go into the store to get my refund which is totally inconvenient because I had to work. The service was good & everything- but I definitely got racially profiled there. We ordered & ate & left the bill on the table & as we were walking out, the manager (I wish I would have caught his name) stopped us & asked who was going to pay for the meal. I haven't been to Denny's in years. This morning I decided to have a waffle.... I see this site near the store I went to and decided to come in and order my waffle to go. Sitting at the bar area, I'm watching this staff flow through this place like a, "Well oiled, very efficient machine"! With all the customers coming and going it's amazing to watch them be courteous, professional and friendly not only to the customers but to each other as well. The only good thing I can say is the food was decent. Other than that the night shift service was awful and beware of the homeless in the area. My car was broken into while in the diner. The manager named Kristen was so unhelpful and after already feeling violated she was "too busy" to do anything to help and I had to wait almost an hour for shift change to get a manager who actually showed me some humanity. Ordered the cake batter milkshake and the AYCE pancakes. I've had this same order at other locations. The shake was very thick and to my surprise, the AYCE pancakes were the thickest at any location I've been to thus far. Service was outstanding. Unfortunately we went to Dennys on the way to go grocery shopping this morning to save time. Took WAY too long for a party of 2 ordering off the standard menu. When we FINALLY received our food the hash browns were cold and ALMOST browned. My club sandwich was SUPPOSED to have avacado. It didn't. Went into this Denny's on a Saturday evening, server was GREAT my Burger was SOAKED in grease and the buns were too small for the burger. Honestly don't recommend the burgers, didn't have seasoning (didn't taste like anything) and grease was way too much. I have never been charged for dressing at Denny's or anywhere else to be completely honest. I don't mind being charged, I would've just liked to know. It's DENNY'S, what can I say? I get a moons over my hammy and i'm happy; sometimes it greasy, sometimes i like it that way; the point is, it's an American staple that is worth the bailout should it ever come to that. Service here is hit or miss, they are better when they are busy, or maybe it's just their lack of attention makes more sense when they are. Weird to hear I'm sure, but the wings are amazing at Denny's. I like mine a particular way and when they get them right it is the bestest! Also the server ( on my receipt it says Cindy) is very kind and attentive. There was a time we came and didn't get the wings the particular way I wanted and she could tell I wasn't happy with them and got them fixed to her best ability to my standard. I appreciate service like that, the effort really showed and she sincerely apologised. We also enjoy the moons over my hammy with red onion and tomato added with a side salad, really ties everything together. Me and my grandmother are currently at Denny's and right from the start I new it wasn't gonna he good because they weren't even acknowledging us. They took a while to get us seated when we were the only ones waiting, and there was plenty of room to sit. They sat us down and took forever to come and ask us what we wanted to eat we literally had to yell and wave our hands for someone to notice us. I just don't know what happened to this place. I mean we used to come here all the time and the staff knew us and everything was dandy but not anymore. Now it is pretty much a dump, the new manager is terrible, the waitresses are forgetful, and terrible at customer service. She messed up all five of our orders and by the time my food got to me most of it was cold. It was a terrible experience overall and after all the anti-customer service and forgetfulness the manager actually asked "ME" how my experience was. Well don't worry I let her know. Now, I am tired of people like Dan T. whom I have never met in my life telling yelpers useless information like "Pretty much a standard Denny's" that is BS guys. I don't think Dan knows what standard means but I can assure you that this is not a standard among Denny's nor any establishment I have ever been to. So I think I might write a letter because I have so much free time to talk about how bad my experience was at this particular diner. Well if you're smart you will avoid this Denny's and just go to the one on Alabama.
