Not only did I wait 50 min for my food, when I got it, I live 5 minutes away, it was barely lukewarm. 2 meals took almost an hour, and were not even warm when I got them home! What horrible service. Anyway, this was not the start to my day I was hoping for, Lukewarm soggy food that took almost an hour, probably because they had to let it cool down below the temperature the health department requires for selling food, for some diabolical reasoning I just can't quite grasp... I can't get my time back I spent waiting on this travesty and the memory of a lukewarm burger and fries will haunt my memory till the day I die. We were here an hour ago for my cousin's graduation supper. It was very disappointed and unprofessional service, along with staff's attitude. The girl in the front, who told us that she was in charge and refuse to let us to talk to the manager about the service, she didn't know what was going on and how to manage the staffs at all. We got seated and waited for an hour on our order, but every time we asked they said they don't know and will check for us but never come back. The staffs actually ignored us when we asked them about our order. I waved at the sever and said excuse me to get her attention, she did hear us, looked at us, but then ignored and walked away! VERY RUDE AND RACIST! Finally we decided to give up and walked out to pay for the drinks, the front girl ( from above) gave us attitude because we was not patient enough according to her. We said we waited for almost two hours and no food, so just wanted to pay for our drinks but she kept complaining and mostly likely yelling at us in front of other customers. WORST SERVER EVER! DON'T EAT AT THIS DENNY'S I came here a few times this last month during morning hours. The crowd was minimal, and staff was quick however the place was dirty. I also found a thick curly black hair in my scramble. I had to spit it out and it ruined my appetite. I told the waitress she said she was sorry. When it came for the check the meal was not even discounted! I asked for the manager. The manager who looked like "Gomez" (Adams family) said he didn't know that could have happened... and was not very apologetic. I have to agree with another reviewer, you think it's only Denny's! Well I have to say that for a Denny's this one has their stuff together for the most part. Food is good, consistent. Staff is friendly, accomodating, makes suggestions and is right on top of keeping your coffee cup filled. I have been in on a couple of occasions and night staff is equally as friendly and even customized a few request for me. Only suggestion I have is that they do need to get the stool over by the breakfast area replaced sometime soon. This has been broken for over a yr without replacement so you can only seat three at the breakfast nook. either replace it or get rid of breakfast nook all together and put in some tables. Just stopped in to have breakfest while my car stereo was being worked on. Sat down at the bar and was greeted ever so kindly, drink order was immediately given to me. The star of the show was the head cook in the kitchen, he had orders coming out of there one after another and if special orders weren't caught he fixed them right away. I have never been a huge fan of any Denny's but this brekfest was absolutely spot on. I had the country fried steak breakfast skillet and I would have put that up against any breakfest. Denny's is Denny's, right? You expect a certain level for the money you're spending and the convenience of 24 hours. Except, for my $10, I got a hamburger that was by far the best I've had in any Denny's and better than some restaurants that brag about theirs (Red Robin? Chili's? Habit?). I asked how I would like it and I chose medium, not expecting I truly had a choice. It was perfectly medium. It was also gigantic with loads of toppings (I got the avocado bacon cheeseburger) but still put together so that it stayed together and could be eaten in the hands. It was late (11PM) so the waitress and hostess were one and the same. When I hesitated on the two side choices (fries or seasoned fries) she was quick to make another suggestion that turned out to be great. She managed to take care of the cash register and serve the dozen or so seated tables, and still visit my table more often than what was necessary to keep my coffee and water filled. She saw when I was coming to the end of the meal, and had the check on the table with the customary "Don't rush" and "I can add to it if you would like something else". Maybe during the day it turns into what we've all come to expect in Denny's, but the late-night crew was really on the ball tonight. read more

Worst service ever! The waiter seated us and just threw a bunch of menus on the table. We had to ask for kids menus. We asked twice for forks and napkins. Finally just took them from another table. Salads came with no dressing. We asked for dressing three times. Soup was cold. Grapes were ordered with a kids meal but they were old so they didn't serve them. I can honestly say this was the BEST experience I've ever had at Denny's! Our server, Cindy, was easily the best waitress I've ever had (including 5 star expensive restaurants). She was super bubbly (an impressive trait at 5am), very helpful, and took amazing care of us. The food has definitely improved as well! The dining room was spotless, and you can tell they've been sprucing things up with their decor. My husband and I had stopped going to Denny's because pretty much everything had become rather disappointing, but after this morning's experience, we will definitely be coming here instead of IHOP :-) read more

This location is a joke. They give other Dennys a bad name. The staff ( including the manager on duty ) decided to throw out the oatmeal befor 2:00. So when I ordered some ( 1:30 ish) I was told they were out and they won't make anymore for me. So my " Grand slam " consists of 8 pieces of toast, yogurt ( 50 cents extra ), and two sorry looking slices of bacon. I have given them so many more chances then deserved. Manager of the store Lou, stated we can only order online, website not working. Finally a hour later we processed on online order for delivery but it never get delivered. When we called to speak with Lou again, he states order has been ready for an hour sitting out cold, waiting for delivery. We did not want stale food and requested a refund, he stated we could not get a refund and refered us back to the broken site. Tried calling phone 800 number they were closed. This is certainly my worse experience and we had go in and pick up our food. Went in for breakfast...waited for the food . After 45 minutes was told there had been a large party before us so understandable. However a table that came in after that explanation was served as well as others and we were still waiting so we finally just left and paid for our drinks...was charged for coffee refill. As stated by several other reviewers the wait staff is good, especially Jenny. However, as also stated by several the store is kind of old and dingy and really needs a refurbishment. But what this store really needs is management that doesn't have a cranial rectal insertion problem. The most recent on his part is the change in acceptance of the 'free meal after ten stamps' program with no notice and no effective by date. When asked about it he informed me "I put it up and no consideration to the fact that I had two cards ready to be used. The equivalent of forty meals purchased considering I always have at least one person with me. Just bad customer service IMHO! Won't be back till this store has new management. read more

Denny's is a favorite breakfast place of my hubby's. I think because he grew up in a small town where it was the only option. Anyway, we almost never come here for lunch or dinner but for breakfast they are ok. They have added a lot of healthy options to their menu like turkey sausages and bacon and a nice spinach and egg white omelette. This particular location used to be pretty run down but they recently spruced it up a little. The service is kind of hit or miss, though. And it usually is not too clean. This location is very nice but it could have just been the server, I really need to start remembering names. We were there on a Saturday morning around 9-9:30 for breakfast with the boyfriends mom for her birthday and it was great. It honestly kind of made me change my mind about Dennys. I know there are plenty of breakfast places nowadays but this location knows what it's doing. I got the $4 dollar value slam which I didn't even know existed and it was awesome. 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of a breakfast meat (I got bacon). Got seated right way and ordered their priced right biscuits and gravy meal with a side of sausage and some coffee... I can see why it's cheap! Don't know what they make the sausage out of but they were sad looking and even worse tasting. The biscuits were pasty, the gravy wasn't bad. Ordered poached eggs and half of one of the eggs was missing but nicely cooked otherwise. Haven't been to denny's in a long time and won't be returning, I'll hit IHOP if I'm in the mid for that kind of food.
