First time to be here. The server is the best. He made sure that we're accommodated well. This is not a busy place as well. The food was okay. Typical Denny's food but I'm just happy with the service. Because of that we gave him 25% tip. read more

It was my first time at this location, and my dad's second. He recommended stopping here because he really enjoyed the food the first time he visited a couple of weeks before. A few of the staff were quite obviously uninterested in being there. Our server was very friendly, but when I finally came around to placing my order (we were starving and couldn't settle on what we wanted...the menu looked too delicious!), she failed to mention that they were out of a few of the important ingredients needed for my salad. So after committing to my meal choice, it came to me without avocado (the whole reason I ordered the salad), and they replaced it with added potato crunchy strings? It was VERY disappointing. My dad enjoyed his Extreme Skillet, of which I had to eat some of his just to fill myself because my salad was incredibly lacking. The chicken was minimal, the cherry tomatoes were itty-bitty, the avocado was missing, and the only thing I had a lot of were the weird crunchy potato string things. We explained that had I known they were out of those ingredients (avocado and my dressing choice), I would have ordered another meal all together. The server admitted her mistake and asked the manager to correct the issue, which they offered 20% off our bill. We appreciated the gesture, of course. It was simply very frustrating to have had such a disappointing meal that was entirely avoidable. I'd likely try the place again, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to visit there. read more

We were seated at the table and waited for over 15 mins for a waiter or waitress. We let one of the waiters working there to help us but we were ignored. read more

This place is incompetent .. we eat here often and they always mess up the order. This is like the 5th time no bacon on a bacon cheese burger.. so frustrating. read more

This is the first Denny's I've been to in years and this one is smaller than I remember them being. The servers were all extremely friendly despite a busy, Labor Day weekend crowd. The food was brought out quickly and tasted good. I felt sorry for our server who it seemed had been required to "sell" us on providing charitable donations or ordering ice cream (after a breakfast no less). It was a good value though at $2 for 2 decent sized pancakes. read more

We went there with more two families and they ignore us for more than 10 minutes, until I ask if they could help us and the guy said he was helping by order. I still don't know order of what because we were waiting to eat and he was just helping the people that are paying. So resuming all the thing. When I ask how long its the wait he said 25 minutes. and later on 45 minutes. So I think just because we have kids he didn't want us there. We lost around 15 to 20 minutes waiting to be seat and end up going to another place because we didn't seat at all after wait so long. This place treat better older people that don't have kids. read more

Clean and modern. Really appreciate their is a power outlet at each table. The young man at the counter was polite. Whopper was good, frys cold. read more

Slow service. Soggy bread, burnt hash browns, forgotten ketchup, alternative undercooked hash browns, undercooked scrambled eggs, dirty bathrooms. Will not return. read more

This Denny's location is the best. From the hostess seating us with lightning fast efficiency, to the enthusiastic waitress bringing us our world class cuisine. Nothing better than this Denny's in all of camp verde, in fact, the entire world. read more

Worse service, hosts tossed menu on table definitely showing no wanting in being at work, server not once wiped the table nor checked if my meal was as u ordered. Had to get our own utensils off of another table. Decided to walk out and grab a bite at taco bell right next door, which I would like to add was clean floors and all. Do not recommend to anyone. read more

Service was horrible. The waitress forgot to turn in our order! Then when we finally got our food and finished eating she never came back with the check. People around us were calling at her for more coffee and drinks. We finally went to the check out and waited. Never eating here again. Wasted 1 hr. read more

Friendly staff, place looks at bit worn down. "Flag of Heroes" up, that's nice. Free WiFi. Sitting at the counter, the waitress is complaining about the food warmer not working. Cook is slow. read more

Nice place for just coffee or a meal. Their breakfast menus are varied and delicious.

If I could rate them a 0 star I would. Service was poor. We waited over 40 minutes to get our food and when we received the food it was covered in grease. The pancakes looked as if someone had ate them and placed it back on the plate. Servers response "well would you like the manager to make them". The food was disgusting. read more

Food was good. However...orders were never completely delivered, no followup to check on how things were, repeated requests necessary for a carryout box, had to wait in line to pay the bill while a cashier counted her till, no signs or other information about possible discounts, no friendly remarks from restaurant staff while finally paying bill. Recap: food, yes. Restaurant staff, no. read more

The food we got was pretty good. The attendant was very courteous and patient. read more

This place has no consistent our last visit was nice this time the restaurant was very dirty. Tables and floor were a mess. It was not busy no excuses to have a place look that way. The bathrooms were worse makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. No smiles on any employee faces unless they were talking among them selves. Manager walked through service area twice changing out the cash drawer maybe a glance in the dinning room would have been a good idea. Service was nothing special read more

Very nice people. Seated me quick did everything quickly and perfect and all the service look like they actually love there job. They all smiling, making convos and quick with there job as well read more

Stopped here for breakfast on he way to the Grand Canyon. The food was just okay, nothing exciting. Bacon, ham and eggs were good, French toast not so much. Our server was very friendly and the best part of the experience. The bathrooms were dirty and in desperate need of attention. read more

My family, a few friends and I are frequent and satisfied customers. Most of the time it is good, fast and friendly service. The most frustrating thing to me is, they are very frequently out of what was ordered. Today I ordered my Thanksgiving dinner and they were out of cranberries and cream corn. Not enjoyable for me to not have cranberries with it. With the frequency of this occurring, it appears to me that a better job could be done on the ordering. read more

0 stars!!! Terrible service and rude workers!!! Tonight my husband my cousin and I decided to stop at this Denny's to get some desert.. We walked in and sat down we told the sever we only wanted some deserts.. So we were sitting there for 15 mins waiting for them to take our order and nobody helped us so we decided to leave as we were waking out both of the servers were standing there doing nothing actually one was on her phone So we walked by they didn't say a word to us the girl still on her phone.. So I decide to go back inside and I asked to talk to the manager so the sever says oh she just got her all she what end was dessert!! I said what?? I just got there?? We have been sitting here for 15 min and body took our order!! And she keep going on and on about how we had just got there and her excuse was they had a big order!! Okay I get it she had a big order but was she cooking that big order? No!! It would've taken het less than a minute to take our order.. But no they rather be on their phone and my cousin told her you know what all of us have jobs we have to be professional and not be in our phones when we're working and she tries to defend the girl by saying she had just got there like no she was already there when we got there So my husband walks In and she still saying the same thing!! So I told my husband lets go and as I'm walking out I hear my husband say I'm never coming back here and her reply was than don't come back that made my husband even more mad like how rude and unprofessional can you be?? Finally the "manager" comes out asking what was going and we told him and he goes that should've never happened and apologized and offered us free food we said we didn't anything.. You can totally tell this manager has no control over these people cuz they obviously do whatever they want.. I told him you know what us costumers are the ones giving you work our money you pay checks come from us.. We don't have to be treated like this!! And we walked out!! Ohh yeah and there was another group of people there and told us they weren't satisfy with the service.. The Employes there are careless, rude, lazy and unprofessional!! Honesty I don't know how this place stays open!! Worst experience ever!! Here's a tip for you employes.. When you work at a place like this you have to be nice and humble!! Leave you're problems at home don't take it out on other people that are there to have a nice time.. If you don't like serving people than why are you working there?? And for the owner you should really have a talk with your workers or bring people who actually want to work!!! read more

Hair in my food, rude waitress almost yelling at us and throwing plates at us, why work here if you hate your job.

So... my first time at this Denny's while going to Sedona from Scottsdale... some Denny's can be a hit and miss. This was DEFINITELY a MISS!!! At a good, clean and friendly Denny's, the food is always good. I go for the "Moon Over My Hammy" breakfast sándwich. They can't screw it up. My wife and daughter are not fans of Denny's. So my experience at the Denny's located at 1630 W State Route 260, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. I don't know if they were having a bad day or what, but when we walked in and to the hostess podium... We stayed there for about ten minutes. The staff walked back and forth, servers look at us but continued their routine. No greeting, or be there shortly etc. Very awkward for us. I just finally said, can we just sit at the counter to a redneck lady... sorry, but the entire staff were rednecks. They were very loud as they talked to each other and just going about their own things.... BUT NOT ATTENDING US. No customer service whatsoever. The lady said yes you can sit there. As we walked to the counter... we saw fries on the ground, napkins and essentially not a very clean restaurant. We made it to the counter seat, no one else sitting at the counter. But it was dirty, sticky, menus just thrown on the counter from previous customers or so. My wife was immediately disgusted. I am a man and a Retired Marine, I can bear more then my wife, but I was getting to my limits trying to let them right their wrong... We sat down, and again, no greeting, acknowledgement, Coffee or anything... more awkwardness. I looked to the the other counter, were they receive food and prep station for pancakes. I saw powder sugar all over the counter, the pancake topping area, the cover was left opened. Some bananas peeled and left out and turning a dark color already. I looked to the kitchen and saw only one cook. The poor cook, redneck too, looked like a zombie, the outer eyes were red, he looked frail and VERY TIRED! He was looking a at a ticket, and mouthing as he was trying to read the ticket. I looked at my wife, and being married for 35+ years, she didn't have to say much more! I said, let's leave Honey! She said what about your "Moon Over My Hammy... what a sweetheart... I said, I can get it some other day. She said ok. We walked out... no acknowledgement coming in and no acknowledgement going out! That Denny's yelled ECOLI with 24 hrs bathroom visits... NO THANKS! Too bad, they had no self pride, Uniforms disheveled, dirty and no company PRIDE! I am going to see if iHop can start making "Moon Over My Hammy!" Only my opinion, and hope not to offend anyone. read more

Absolutely disgusting...place should be closed or overhauled entirely including but not limited to all staff, including cook who could not even make biscuits. The first set was raw the second pasty and all other food on plate was just thrown in microwave...disgusting. Then the bathrooms they were the nastiest I have ever seen. Feces and urine everywhere and the sinks were brown and no it was not rust stains. The smell of sewage was so strong. The waitresses rude. I wish I could have never had the displeasure of eating at such a disgusting place. I am only giving this one star because it will not let me pick none. read more

Amazing service every time, no matter the order. Wait times can be longer than normal due to them being understaffed, but its worth the wait for perfectly cooked food and clean tables. Lots of people normally, so expect mildly high amounts of noise, and speak loudly to the waiter as the noise can mute you. read more

Service is slow. Finally seated ourselves. Food is good - the same at all Denny's. Pushing the vacuum by your table while eating is unacceptable. read more
