I was greeted with a smile and a good morning as soon as I entered the restaurant. They gave me a menu and told that I could sit anywhere I would like. The server was very friendly and relatively attentive. The dining room is adequately filled with six large larger tables and a number of smaller ones that are perfect for two people. They also have four picnic tables outside. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. Yelp shows that they're open until 3 PM, but the menu shows 7 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday, and the grill is turned off at 1:30 PM. I decided to try their ham and cheese omelette. The menu shows a peace symbol next to the best selling items. The omelette comes with hashbrowns or grits and your choice of toast. The server suggested raisin toast or the biscuit. I typically do not order biscuits because they tend to be dry. Their biscuit was surprisingly good. It was sliced in half and grilled on both sides. It tasted soft and moist after applying butter and strawberry jam. Similar to the biscuit, the ham and cheese omelette was also really good. It was loaded with ham and there was possibly a little more ham than cheese. Overall, I had a positive experience. For my entree, I had their Cajun Alfredo pasta. It is linguine served in a "Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce". It is "served with tasso and smoked sausage", and you can choose to have it with either chicken or wild GA shrimp. In either case, once again, they do not skimp . They have these new-fangled mobile electronic lamps, and the owner came by and noticed that ours wasn't quite working. He replaced it immediately himself. He was very friendly and chatted us up.
