We ended up there right at opening on a Saturday morning. It seems to be Denny's model to only staff a waitress and a cook in the AM, which can be demanding as the place filled up. Our waitress handled the crowd and we got our food quickly and it was delicious. Remember to tip your waitress well when she's running the whole front on house on her own. read more

Can't rate the food because we never got to that point. I stood there waiting 15 minutes to place a to go order. Meanwhile the one person working just stared at me not acknowledging once that I was there, until a man walked in behind me who she then preceded to seat and wait on. All while ignoring me still and not placing my to go order. She then went to every other table and filled drinks. I walked out and when I called to let them know it wasn't appreciated I was told that they didn't have a to go person working. Horrible work ethic and no customer service. read more

I'm giving this Denny's a three because it was an interesting experience and the cooks did a great job. But I would really like to give it a zero for the managers attitude and the miserable servers. The place was busy when we arrived with many people waiting. My BF asked the hostess how long the wait was and she replied, "When a table opens up." I hadn't heard the comment or I would have simply left. Instead I noticed the bar seating was open so we sat there. We got a first hand look at how this place is run. We found out the rude hostess was in fact the manager. She is obviously not well liked by the staff as the servers were exchanging obnoxious comments about her and some were directing their comments to her. One server was talking extremely loud for all to hear and making sarcastic comments letting us all know how much she hates her job and the other employees. The cooks were in the kitchen pumping out the food like crazy. It looked like they were a finely oiled machine and they all seemed to work well together. Our food came out quick and was good. Our server was friendly, too, despite the negativity and disdain from the 4 other servers and the manager. The manager should be fired immediately. How she is allowed to talk to customers and employees is disgusting. read more

Worst service ever!! A dog would be treated better! Told it was a twenty minute wait for 2 and restaurant was not even half full. Asked if we could sit at counter was told no. While we waited they seated two single people at counter and couple that came in after us by 5-10 min in a booth! Then someone else came in and the waitress knew him and seated him right away!! The food is always good. I always get one of their "Breakfast Slams" when I go in. They did take away the one Slam that would come with a coffee and orange juice. Other than that, most of the time we go in we get decent service but the last time we waited for everything. It took a while for the lady to come over to take the order and get our refills. It wasn't very busy inside. The reason for the 4 star is because most of the time that we go inside we get helped fast but not the last time. read more

The kids have the day off school. I'm sick and the baby has RSV. I was trying to do something special be cause I feel bad for the kids. I really couldnafford it, but used Uber eats to order Dennys. The burger patties were unedible. Every bit had hard bits of what I'm assuming is cartilage? And it was just fat. Didn't even take right. We had to pull the patties out and just buns and toppings. About halfway through my meal I excuse myself to the restroom. I come back to the waitress cleaning my table thinking I was done. Asking what the general manager could do about it... couldn't even come out and talk to me in person about the situation. Had to relay through his help he was only going to give me a 20% discount. The only reason they got two stars is the waitress and the other front of house manager I assume we're really great about the situation.. he offered to remake me another complete meal to go... and threw in another 25% off on top of it. Ordered an All American Scramble for take out. Asked to get a side of additional Hearty Sausages. When I got home I had the additional Sausages at double the side price and the All American did not have the Bacon or Sausages that were supposed to come with it. Tried to call them to inform them of their error and lack of attention to detail - no good, their phone was off the hook for the next 3 hours that I tried to call. Denny's is not so great that I would go back again. Went there fro some menu items, but never again. Attention to detail is greatly lacking. This not being the first time something was not quite right. They dont even have a regular senior discount. Need to show an AARP card. read more

We got seated right away was surprised cause they can have only half the the guest in to eat. The booth we was taken was like 4 ft away and omg the people at that were they thought everyone in the want to here about there life come on people we waited like 20 min for coffee then another 10 for the waitress and 30 for our food which cold mind you only got one cup of coffee until we was ready to leave she asked if we wanted to take a cup with us it's like wow I couldn't believe it and boy howdy she was loud mouth waitress and I mean loud we will never go there again and to say the cleanliness isn't good either so you do have choice Perkins is right across the road and I wish I could give 0 stars read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service here. The last two times I dined here were awful. The kitchen staff were fighting with the waiting staff and when I went this last time our waitress was very rude and she could be audibly heard calling the kitchen staff smart asses. If you had asked me how I scored this place just a week ago I would have gave them a solid 4. But last night happened and you folks are lucky you even get 2. I have been looking forward to ordering a Fit Slam for months now and last night was my time to do it. We ordered my daughter's meal (complete with substitutions and additions), husband ordered (no substitutions just choices) come to me and I tell her Fit Slam. No additional info. I hear her demanding wheat toast from the cook, hey it could be somebody else's. Then she places the plates and I think she got hubby and daughter's orders correct. Then comes mine. WTH is this?!!! There is no hashbrowns on the Fit Slam, and what is this shriveled up pork bacon? Inform her this isn't my order and she proceeds to argue with me. Tells me that things have changed on the menu, I insist she looks at the menu. What do you want. Ummm, I want my turkey bacon and my English muffins!!!! She will have to talk to the cook who is also the manager. You do that. In the meantime the other waitress comes over with wheat toast wanting to know who it belongs to, nobody at my table. Our waitress tries to tell me that I ordered wheat toast. Ummm, no I didn't. That would never happen, I hate wheat toast/bread!!! Then I have to remind her that I'm supposed to have a fruit cup, which I had questioned her about earlier (before even ordering). Best part is that she kept trying to say that messed up my order, said that she is new (no kidding) and that the manager is supposed to know what is on the menu. Sure explains why they were so slow last night. They've run everybody else off! They didn't even comp us for my utterly screwed up order. When our food finally came it had been 45 minutes. The salad I ordered was wilted and the cucumbers on it were literally covered in mold on the sides, it was disgusting. The Service Is Abysmally Slow I've had faster root canals. It took 25 minutes to be seated even though there were tables that had been bussed and cleaned. Went for breakfast. Wasn't busy at all. We got seated pretty quickly. A few people came in after us and ordered after us and got their meals before us. We waited 30 minutes to get our meals. Food wasn't even warm at that point. The water also had what looked like, little bugs in them. Almost like gnats. Service wasn't good. Good or bad, Denny's is usually consistent. The food is normally the same from one location to the other with the only variable being the service. I wasn't too impressed with this particular Denny's. Slower than average to be seated and most of the wait staff and customers were pretty sketchy looking. I had a ham & cheese omelette, which is kind of tough to screw up. It was ok overall, but the ham was tough, like it had been cooked way earlier in the day (we got there around 9:30 am). My girlfriend had eggs and sausage, and she seemed to like it. I love Denny's. It may not be the artisanal handcrafted food but it's always solid. And a lot of times you're looking for something familiar and solid. And Denny's delivers. I ordered the Hearty Skillet Breakfast early one morning. The food was at my table in about 5 minutes no joke. I was prepared for a extremely undercooked meal. The entire dish was cooked perfectly. The cook obviously went to culinary school because I never had such a awesome meal in 5 minutes from Denny's in my life. Coffee wasn't bad either. Our server wasn't the best because she took forever to greet us and take our order. She did sort of redeem herself because she offered a really good special and the food was great. I ordered the independence special egg bacon potatoes and blueberry pancakes topped with strawberries. These were some of the best pancakes I've had in a long time. The skillet was delicious. The service was horrible. The waitress came back one time to ask if I needed a refill of coffee. Then came back and asked if I was finished I said yes, she asked if I needed a box I said no thank you and she says ok and walks away leaving the dishes. Comes back with the check and smiles, " Ill be your cashier when your ready" and leaves again without clearing the table or asking if I need coffee or anything else. It was really busy. I thought it was strange no one was at the counter to greeters as we walked in. In fact, they had a sing in sheet we could check in with the number of our party. We did get called to be seated after a 10 minute wait. We waited about 10 additional minutes to put in our drink order. We finally put in our food order after about 20 minutes. All together from the moment we got seated to the food arriving at our table was about 50 minutes! They did have a packed house but our server was friendly and did the best she could with a backed up kitchen. All in all, it was decent. Everyone who has ever been to a Denny's knows what to expect as far as the food. The food here was as good as I have had at any Denny's. What set this one apart was the phenomenal service. We had a large number of family members and needed a quite place to discuss the arrangements for my mother in laws funeral and some food. They opened a closed area for us and never forgot we were there. Excellent service that made a tough time a bit more bearable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. read more

However, the member of the wait staff who found it completely appropriate to speak loudly on how disgusted he is by "guidos," "midgets," and "queers" really ruined the taste of the food. The fact that no one stepped in until I mentioned this to management also left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I'd recommend that, if your money is queer or queer friendly, you avoid this place.
