I am an entertainment tour bus driver, and I had two hours before dropping my band at the Billings airport. I needed to find a restaurant that had a wide variety of food and could easily accommodate a party of 10. When I found Perkins on the map, I knew exactly where we were going for breakfast and didn't have to look any further! Perkins, we love you!

Ok....reminds me of Friendlys back east. More seating than staff. I think the average age of the people eating there is 75. Is that because it's close to the Goodwill????? Anyway....huge menu and good service. The food was pretty good. The omelettes are tiny. My wife got one and was done in 4 bites!!! It was free pie Monday so that was nice. I don't plan on eating there again because I'm not usually in Billings.

I had a delightful breakfast here I stopped in for nostalgia's sake, as I had eaten here a number of times as a kid back in 1990. My server was awesome, and we had a great time chatting. The breakfast was stellar and the coffee was good. But what meant most was my server, and how special she made me feel, and how much care she put into making sure I had a great meal and experience.

Food was really good. Had the California Benedict and it was excellent. Would have been 4 stars but for the hair in the food. That kind of distracted from the meal even though I moved the hair to the edge.

Perkins is like an upscale Denny's, not much more of an upscale but a little bit more. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are not bad. If you are hungry and looking for something to hold you over. This is a good place to eat. The place wasn't very crowded for the lunchtime rush. I will say this, their pot roast melt was very good and had great flavor and the meat was tender. You also have to get some dessert from their in-store bakery. Very fresh and good as well. Not very impressed but also not disappointed.

Friendly and steady but not overly busy. For fans of Perkins, if your experience is consistent with mine, then you will not be disappointed. Food was spot on and server was awesome.

The food is just awful. The servers are really nice, but even the scrambled eggs were terrible.

Good place for breakfast. The potato pancakes are the best I've had since moving to billings last year.

They painted, renovated a bit, but have not gotten new signage yet-so the old Log Cabin sign is still up. The owner and his friend run things at this cafe and they are so friendly and helpful. The menu is approachable, affordable, and creative. They voiced that the goal was to have an affordable and healthy option in Billings for families. And that it is! They try to source all ingredients locally, they make their own breads and sweets, and partner with local citizens who grow greens, veggies, etc. Their hours are not set yet as they are just starting up but I know they are open for lunches on week days and brunch on Saturday starting at 10AM. I had the croissant French toast which is soaked in vanilla cream overnight (SO GOOD) and my husband had eggs with avocado toast (4 thick slices with generous amounts of avocado) and the side of potatoes was amazing-rosemary flavored and crispy. These meals were about $7 each. It was a deal. We will definitely be returning! The owners kids and wife came by as we were finishing and it was hard to pull our daughter away from playing with his crew, who generously shared their toys with her. This is a gem and I hope they thrive in Billings!

Our food was good and we both finished our sandwiches. No complaints, but possibly lacked in the flavor department being a bit on the blander side. We also bought and tried a dessert and baguette that we both enjoyed. As a Billings native, the menu might be a smaller version of what you would see at the Field house, but a more relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly be returning.
