This has become a favorite place for lunch and breakfast. Have come to Billings 4 times this month. Eaten here each time and everything we've had has been exceptional. The staff are freindky welcoming and very helpful. read more

I like this place. It's an old-school classic. During the shelter-in-place, it was a regular spot from which I ordered. For a treat. Now, I can go in person. Hooray for the small businesses still doing their thing. While I'm not much of a person for sweets, I can't seem to help myself here -- those stroopwafles are pretty dang good. Plus. the people working here make you feel like a member of the family. They also have light lunch items if you want to feel less guilty about inhaling stroopwafles. The sandwiches weren't that good; they weren't bad, but not anything outstanding. Stick with the cookies. They sell packages of them so you can always have a treat at home. read more

My family and I moved away around 4 weeks after we found out about this place. Their raspberry danishes were so good I'd always go back up for seconds and thirds. The service was always very good! I remember going there after getting my license, and the family played pool on game pigeon while waiting for our food. Happy happy times read more

Visited for the first time recently and it was a pleasant surprise. Employees were bustling to keep up and move the long line along quickly. Service was super friendly and the food was delicious with many delicious options. If you haven't been, go. You won't be sorry! read more

Carmel Cookie Waffle is a hidden gem. Beautiful is the only way to describe the food. When you eat here, you feel loved and taken care of. The staff is just beyond wonderful. This is a MUST NOT MISS for people visiting billings. We tried the soups of the day and you won't find better soup anywhere in billings. Not to mention the pastries, oh my gosh the pastries. Truly a work of art. Big thank you to the ladies of Carmel Cookie Waffle for blessing us all with their talents. Food is an art that brings people together, and this restaurant is as good as van gough. read more

I've been going since the day they opened 40 years. It's the best place in Billings for breakfast and lunch. Also, pastries are fabulous.

What a great spot. I got the turkey and cheese on French bread with a lemon bar as the side. Extremely nice and helpful staff. We picked up some authentic Dutch mints and stickers as well. Will be making this a regstop when we come through Billings. read more

Best Carmel waffle cookies I've ever had! Food and baked treats are SO good. Lunch combo is perfect for less than $9, comes with soup, pastry, cookie, and drink. Gave only 3 stars cause over half of the time the staff acts as though you're bothering them when you want to order. read more

Their food is ALWAYS delicious. It's fast, friendly and fairly priced. It makes me feel like I stopped in a shop in Holland. Simple, hearty and delicious. read more

The soup and pastries were pretty awesome. The sandwich was ok but did not have all of the things listed on the menu. It was a pretty decent experience. I would suggest getting the deal of day or whatever they call it. It is pretty casual and the staff was very friendly. Only thing I would like improved is the parking but it would be easier if the snow wasn't causing issues. read more

The food is as good as my memories of this establishment. It was my grandfathers favorite and he passed away in 1997. Every time I get my standard salami and cheese on a croissant (I've literally never had anything else) with a cup of daily soup, I think of him. And of course I have to get an almond bar. read more

We had 6 people in our group for breakfast and even the picky ones loved everything we tried - quiche, smoked salmon eggs benedict, and a variety of baked goods. There is also a great variety of European chocolate and other food items for gift ideas or just to try. read more

Best stroopwaffles in the nation! Been on national eats / tv cooking shows. Way better than the ones at Costco! :D

We were shopping close by, and then stopped by for a quick to go lunch for a day special panini. We brought it home. It was so yummy! The best part was everyone that worked there....smiles, friendly and great customer service. Thank you! We will be back! read more

Love!!! Good food , service is wonderful! Family business! Pastries, cheese cakes, cookies delicious! Soups are over the top!

An all-time Billings favorite! If I could I'd eat there every day and have dessert EVERY time! Their baked goods are like nothing else you find in our area, and all are perfect. We live the sunflower nut bread for our sandwiches (order early cuz they run out of it). Chicken salad seems to be my "usual". CCW has the BEST corn chowder I've ever ever ever had. I kind of stalk the place so I can be sure to get it the day it's offered. The only "complaint" I have w CCW is that since their soups are made fresh daily, the flavors/spiciness isn't consistent. I'll ask if one type has bell peppers in it - they say no but some days it has it and some days it doesn't. It's not the servers' fault. I think the ingredients vary. read more

These cookies are a family favorite- I have to ship them all over the country they are that good

If you've just stepped into Caramel Cookie Waffles Corp and you are as overwhelmed as I was on my first visit, just order the lunch special! The lunch special comes with a savory pastry, soup, a caramel cookie waffle, and a drink. The sausage pastry was good, but the tomato basil soup blew it out of the water! Rich and creamy and herb-y, this soup was perfect. I'm not always a "soup person," but I ate every bit of it. The caramel cookie waffles were just as good as all the reviewers say -- just the right amount of sweet with a thick layer of gooey caramel on the inside. This place is popular! The line was long, the seating area was a bit crowded - but ordering was quick and everyone who wanted a seat, got one, it seemed. read more

WHAT A BILLINGS & MONTANA INSTITUTION. Where to begin!! Literally everything is good!! Dearest gentle reader, although the cannabis I consume is medicinal, that nuance does not stop this seasoned author from smoking a medical joint in the rain and pondering the delicacies of years past. I humbly present Lady Whistledown's rural yet randomly fancy Dutch bakery recommendations. Let us begin with the pastry and the expertise that can be tasted in each and every morsel. I spent 13 years in Chicago not not frequenting the local bakeries whenever my pin money would allow it. It is in those 13 years I was taught with the harshest of hands: I had taken the Dutch bakery completely for granted. Taste, texture, bake, ingredients, the lunch pastry sandwiches would put any of our French chefs to shame. Who knew what the Dutch were doing all these years we fought over the French masters? Not I, gentle reader, not I! The banana bread was my greatest pleasure as a child, and I have never stopped craving it after 30 years and 13 years away. Simply, go! There are no poor choices to be found in this treasure of an establishment. read more

I wasted my time and gas this morning trying to visit this business. I looked online and it said it was open, only for me to get there and it was closed. While this isn't a worst case scenario, it was still extremely irritating. If I can't find when you're open online and it be the correct answer, how else am I supposed to know when your establishment is open? Also, every other time I've been there, the employees have all had nasty attitudes so maybe work on that before you charge people a ton for a spoonful of soup and rude service. read more

Wow... So we were on our way to church (we are new in town) and out of nowhere the wifey asks "oooo, what do you think that Carmel cookie waffle place is?" I immediately pull out my phone and hand it to her and she looks it up on my yelp app. Good reviews.... So a week later we finally made it in. Didn't expect to be hit with so many choices! Baked goods, deli style lunch options and oh my word the desserts looked awesome. We just had lunch so we opted to share the Italian pasta salad and a couple brownies (Carmel brownie and a cream cheese brownie). Hands down the best pasta salad I've ever had (see photo) and thebrownies were pretty good as well. We took home some stroopwaffles for dessert after dinner which were amazing. We also bought some bread that we will try later today. The customer service here was fantastic! When we said we were new in town and had no idea what a stroopwaffle was she immediately pulled one out for us to sample while she explained everything else on the menu. We are fans and will be back. If the lunch menu is as good as our dessert and side I will for sure update to five stars. read more

I had their veggie sandwich which is also very tasty. Their other desserts are great too. I just loved their apricot bars. The best part was the customer service.
