    Cheese Pastry

Carmel Cookie Waffle is a hidden gem. Beautiful is the only way to describe the food. When you eat here, you feel loved and taken care of. The staff is just beyond wonderful. This is a MUST NOT MISS for people visiting billings. We tried the soups of the day and you won't find better soup anywhere in billings. Not to mention the pastries, oh my gosh the pastries. Truly a work of art. Big thank you to the ladies of Carmel Cookie Waffle for blessing us all with their talents. Food is an art that brings people together, and this restaurant is as good as van gough.

I've been going since the day they opened 40 years. It's the best place in Billings for breakfast and lunch. Also, pastries are fabulous.

I always order scrambled eggs dry. When we finally got our order(Emma kept asking about our meal which the cook bit her head off). The pancakes were cold, the butter wouldn't even melt! My dry scrambled eggs were in a 3" square brown and the inside was almost raw. I couldn't eat them. So no pancakes, the eggs were bad. The bacon was good and the water was great. My husband also was served cold pancakes, his bacon, lemp and undercooked. Needless to say, we will not be going back there. The cook should be fired! He was so rude to all the waitresses and the food sucked. The bill was almost $50.00 for a breakfast we couldn't eat. I would give it 0 but the greeter and Emma were fabulous! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Worker arrived to work and was horribly sick but still kept to work. Our waitress was very nice but was not somewhere we will return.

Seasoned very strongly and matched well with the au jus. Fries were crispy and delicious as well. One of my employees ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf. I didn't try that but did take a few of his brussel sprouts - easily the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Rich and buttery but still with a nice crunch from the char. So good! Other guy ordered the Sockeye and it looked perfect (he ate the whole plate so I know it was!) Vibe was cool also. Dark woods, cool lighting, comfortable seating. Our sides were potatoes augratin loaded, green beans, and creamed spinach. I chose the Caesar salad and the hubby chose the gumbo. It was all really good. We ended taking left over steak, green beans, and creamed spinach back to the hotel. For all of that food, including an alcoholic beverage, the total really wasn't that bad. The note on the bottom of the bill cracked me up. I would go back again if we came back into town.
