Really cool place with very friendly and helpful staff! Food and beer were great! Highly recommend!

Gotta give some love to a Montana sandwich shop. Especially a friendly and creative one, the French bread clubfoots are their flagship. Bread is great, ingredients fresh, plenty of great combinations to choose from. They have original sauces and I'd say most aren't that great, watered down. What stops me from coming more often is that they really skimp on the meat. Mostly bread and lettuce.

Clean restaurant, friendly and quick service, epic sandwiches. This location is up to franchise standards and is a breath of fresh air amongst less desirable alternatives. My Beastie with blue horsey was outstanding!

Look ma, I'm a vegetarian. I thought I ordered a Ruben.

Not much of a fan. Had a specialty sandwich, was supposed to be a Ruben. It was mostly lettuce with a tiny amount of meat, no sauerkraut. I did like the bread. The place is cute, I like the set up.

We've eaten here a few times. It's never been remarkable, not even recommendable, but it's nice to have something different now and then. The flavor combinations are sometimes odd, with toppings such as cream cheese, salsa, horseradish, and alfalfa sprouts, coming together in one sandwich. The dressings are watery and do little to save the meal from general boredom. However, as okay as it was, it's now off the list entirely. Tonight we ordered a So Crates salad that was almost exclusively lettuce, and not very fresh lettuce at that, a Chernobyl Melt Down, which tasted of fish, even after the sprouts were removed as a possibility, a Rancho Deluxe, which came with at least one moldy pickle, Naoxchos with hardly any toppings, two Turkey Melts with bacon, and Pizza Wheels, which all went uneaten after discovering the pickle. With the plethora of sandwich shops in Billings, there's absolutely no reason to eat here, unless you're into fuzzy vegetables, then this is probably one of the only places you'll want to go.

Stopped in for lunch today, always enjoy the Ox. Clean, good service and good food. Had the Philly Melt with the blue horsey sauce, very tasty. One of our regular lunch stops when in Billings.

Weird for over 25 minutes for a DoorDash. It took my 10 just to get to the restaurant. Poor service and rude staff.

If I had to list all the things I least expected to find inside a hardware store, it'd be a deli…read morecafe. Well, I guess I can check that off my list of "never would I ever". But, since this [Ace] hardware store used to be a grocery store, I guess it isn't that far out of the realm of possibility. Evergreen cafe is a small shop serving sandwiches, charcuterie trays, Wilcoxson's ice cream and the specialty of one of the owners: Kombucha. The brewmaster and his wife decided to open this small shop to do something different. Well, I guess a leap from engineer to kombucha brewmaster isn't what I would have expected, but from one science to another -- good for them. Each day you can stop in for a $5 grab and go box containing a half sandwich, maybe some chips, or vegetables, or a small serving of a salad of some kind. The salads are also available in containers for adding something to your at-home meals. There are at least two or three different kinds available at any time, and I've seen chicken, curry chicken, chicken apple, veggie, pasta salads. Of course, you can have a sandwich made there with your choice of meat (or egg), and cheese and you'll certainly not be disappointed in the serving size. So far, though, the charcuterie trays have been a winner for me. There are several different kinds, whatever she feels like putting into the particular tray along with the vegetables. Sometimes fruit, sometimes crackers, or different meats but they're made fresh every morning and she guaranteed each tray would contain at least a pound of something -- good for a small party -- or a couple of days of lunches or snacks. The kombucha is available in about four or five flavors. It doesn't have the sharp tang of some kinds, and the flavors are more muted, but they're still good. This time of year the cherry is must-try. Social distancing is handled well, here. There are a few tables, spaced far enough apart to meet the requirements, and that makes it easy to sit and enjoy your sandwich and perhaps chat with friends.

Stella's understands their clients as one must run the gauntlet of one-pound sweet rolls and several other tasty treats highlighted in the showcase. the way to your table. Families are the norm here with mainly mom's and their young families anxiously awaiting to eat. We started with an order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and smothered with sausage gravy. A homerun! The large pancake with Huckleberry syrup and an egg was done well, too. Food here is for the hearty crowd of hard workers, labors and hungry families. The portions are quite generous and done well. Stella's is a true gem with the Billing's breakfast crowd. Each morning as we drove by, a crowd had already formed. If you are looking for a good, solid and hearty breakfast, get to Stella's Kitchen. Just about the time you think it cannot get any worse, welcome to FIREHOUSE SUBS, on King Ave,…read moreBillings Mt. We thought it was a great idea to go and get a few sandwiches yesterday so we stopped at FIREHOUSE SUBS. One large Italian, One large meatball and the worst of them all, a large NEW YORK STEAMER ( Pastrami, well it was supposed to be ) I asked for all them to be on white bread and of course one was on wheat bread ( the worse wheat bread I have ever tasted ) When you enter the place there is a great big wall or "Blinder" on your right that is were someone is making sandwiches, all you can see is the tops of there heads as I am guessing 'someone does not want you to see what they are doing in the sub assembly line'. The Large Italian was as flavorless as they come, and the Pastrami had nothing on it, i did see what could be mayo? The meatball looked decent and of the 3 was not as bad as the other two, 65 percent all bread and very little meat of any kind....mystery or otherwise. The restaurant is well lit and has all that "Firehouse" vibe, but I have to say if you served a sandwich of this nature to a firefighter with mostly bread I would guess they would not be happy! I certainly was not. They did offer us a refund on the New York Steamer but I told the female employee I would take a sandwich instead....this time we will eat in!!! Why would you put so little of the meat on a "sandwich", I got two good mouth fulls of just bread.....absolutely disappointing and a total rip off in my opinion. John J. Nazarian
