I might be a queso snob at this point, but being from Texas, unfortunately, the queso missed the mark in terms of flavor and consistency. I also tried a cookie that had so many different components to it, and it was tasty. I believe they also specialize in sodas, but I'm not a big soda drinker, so, I didn't try them They staff was very friendly and efficient. The person at checkout made great small talk, and was just kind. Also, the meal was prepared in no time at all One this I did like was that this restaurant cares about sustainability. I enjoyed my conversation with them while I was waiting for my order to go. The Reuben was excellent. I had the ordinal sauce and a honey mustard, both on the side so I could try it both ways. I couldn't tell which I liked better. The chili was stellar too. The seating area had a homey feeling. The bar chairs, chairs, and booths are comfortable. Overall this is an excellent choice. Both are decent size, juicy and the toppings enhance but don't hide the flavors. It's the shakes that have my curiosity piqued -- the Essence of Goat is a blend of huckleberry and Goat cheese. The tiny pieces of that sharp cheese was a great balance to the sweetness of the huckleberry and ice cream. (The ice cream is Wilcoxson's of course, a local Montana ice cream. ) The roasted garlic and salted caramel shake was interesting but didn't wow me as much as I expected. The coffee on both visits was horrible: watery and tasted of chemicals. When BW finally opened the store and I had the chance to try again, I found myself back "in like" with this coffee. It was perfectly brewed. There's a drive-thru here if that's your preference, but the inside is cute and has some humorous things on some of the walls just to keep things interesting. What's more, the food is just as good. From the egg bowl to the light buffalo sandwich, it's all been good. The employees seem to know the menu inside and out because none of us in line were able to ask a question about a particular menu item that they couldn't answer immediately and even with patience. It's pretty impressive. If you go, try to do it in an off time because this place is crazy busy at lunch and during breakfast hours. Go for the coffee; try the food -- it'll be worth it.
