Clean, straightforward, not too big, and ready to sell. Additionally, when buying a vehicle from an auto dealer, the customer has a singular advocate via the sales person whom they have been dealt. When you go here, ask specifically for TYSON MURTA! I have purchased several vehicles and RV's over the years from many dealers and he is one of the finest auto sales people I've ever worked with. Every car salesperson has the unfortunate struggle of not only having to rightfully look out for his family and his employer, but also to make sure that the customer he/she is serving isn't taken advantage of. Tyson is a guy who clearly still has his character and integrity well intact. This translates to a person who can do his job well while still trying to do the best he can for his customer. During the process of finding our vehicle and determining the costs associated with such a purchase, I never felt manipulated or lied to by Tyson in any way. I imagine this may also have to do somewhat with the management, by extension, but I can only speak to my experience with Tyson. The finance manager who dealt with us at the close of the sale was direct and reasonable as well, but my experience with him was limited. We now have a vehicle which we really feel suits our family's needs. The price was extremely fair and the quality of the vehicle was excellent (we purchased a new/used). Tyson even took care of us AFTER the sale, making sure all of our needs were met even after the close. We are grateful to him and to Lash Chevrolet for an all around excellent experience!

My son and I went to Lash to purchase a used car, a 2015 Honda FIT…read more In fairness to Lash, the car was a used Honda FIT with 60,000 mi. It was mislabeled as an EXL but owning a FIT myself, I could see it was an EX. But the price was right. We were not anticipating any problems. . We took it on an extended test drive and something was off with the electronic display. Among other things, you couldnt see the gas gauge. Restarting the car did not reset anything. We were assured that it would be fixed either by the Lash service department or taken to a Honda dealership. That was written in the contract as an exception to an "as is" purchase. But Honda makes very reliable cars so we were okay with "as is" provided the electronic display got fixed. And it did...for about 3 days in mostly undriveable weather. Then the problem reappeared. I urged my son to immediately contact our salesperson and the dealership. And he did many times, by phone, text and email. Crickets. Everyone was always "off"or away. After all, it was in the written contract that THIS problem would be fixed. But they had his money. Now me, I would have driven the car to the dealership and camped out with Lash's unresponsiveness. But my son is an adult who prefers to avoid confrontations. Long and the short is my very positive initial experience with Lash has changed to a very negative experience. They should have fixed what they said they would when the problem almost immediately returned.

Here's the story: We tried to call the service department numerous times throughout the two days without luck. No one picked up the phone after the operator transferred the call to the service department and the calls eventually (after 6 or more rings) went to voice mail. We received no call backs nor any text messages on maintenance status. That was strange. We drove to the dealership on 8-27 and the service gal said they didn't get to the truck yet and it's still in the parking lot and if you want to take it--here are the keys. My husband around the lot looking for the truck .....to no avail. It was only after I made my presence known in the sales room--quite loudly in fact-- did a sales guy run into the service department and excitedly ask if my husband was there to pick up his truck and only then was another gal dispatched to locate our truck and deliver it to the service door. We are giving this dealership one star because of their disregard for keeping the customer informed on maintenance status and then how they treated the customer when he came to pick up the vehicle. No apologies. No 'let us make it right for you', no car wash --just here are the keys and good luck finding the vehicle. This is customer obsession? Other dealerships can eat this dealer alive on this aspect alone. And we bought this truck brand new from these folks.

Do not buy a car from this dealership owner group!…read more I wish I could give 0 stars because I would. I went in to this dealership on 3/9/2024 to look at a vehicle for sale. After getting an offer, I decided to wait and try and do a private sale on my car instead of the trade-in offer that they gave me. Rick, the salesman contacted me regularly through the rest of March asking how the process was going (he wanted the sale). On 4/5/2024 at 5:25 pm, he sent me a text with a new price on the vehicle. When I called the next day, I discovered that Rick was off work that day and the guy I spoke with said that the price was actually $6k higher than what Rick sent me. When I mentioned that I received this text, the guy said that it didn't matter what Rick sent me. This is clear evidence of a bait-and-switch sales tactic. In fact, this "deal" was worse than what I was offered back in March. This is actually my second bad experience from this dealership owner group. 10+ years ago, I had a bad experience with their service department. I thought I would give them another chance. Boy, was I wrong!

My last experience went like this: I took my car in for an estimate. I was told there was no way to get an accurate estimate without taking the bumper off to look for deeper damage. I was told to sign a form so that they could put me on the schedule for an estimate. I should have read the form. Basically, the form said that I would be responsible for costs. Buried in the form, it stated that I would be responsible for daily storage fees as well (Kceps storage fee is $75/day whereas most dealership's storage fee is $25/day). I figured all of it would be covered by insurance anyways since I was not at fault in the accident. Once I signed the form, the receptionist scheduled me for the estimate. A few days later I got the estimate emailed to me. I then called to ask if I could pick up my car since the estimate was ready. I figured I would bring it back in a few days for repair if I decided to go through with repairs (vs taking the insurance payout to buy a different car). I needed to head out of town because I needed to help care for my mom after her surgery. I needed my car to get there. The insurance company at fault would not cover a rental car because my car was drivable. I was sent a copy of my bill for the estimate and told I could pick it up once they put the bumper back on. The bill stated that I would owe $1050.80 for the estimate to pick up my car. At this point I was in shock that I could not pick up my car from getting an estimate without paying $1050.80 for an accident where I wasn't at fault . I had my partner call and talk to them. He was able to get the cost of the estimate down to $487. I paid, picked up my car, and drove out of town to my mom for her surgery. Later, the insurance stated estimates should be free, and that they would not cover the cost of the estimate. At this point I feel like someone took advantage of me. I have asked several people. They all think it is strange that I was charged for an estimate. Apparently this is not normal and estimates are no-charge at other body shops. I am not sure if there is anything I can do (other than a charge back that leaves me with extreme guilt). I was not at fault in the accident per the police report. The insurance is willing to pay for repairs but not an estimate because estimates should not cost anything. Well, it did cost $487 and now I feel stuck with these charges that I shouldn't have had to pay. I do plan to have the car repaired. But now I am confused. I was told that I would have to repay the $487 to have my car repaired at Kceps in addition to the other costs. I really feel wronged. I am not at fault, so why am I paying almost $1000. In addition to this, both my insurance and the insurance of the person at fault, stated that Kceps estimates include a lot of "unnecessary fluff." Per my insurance, they charge 3x the amount a car dealership would charge for the same repairs and storage. I am not educated on this and cannot comment otherwise. But if I choose not to repair the car, I will only get about half of Kceps estimate. Per my insurance adjuster: "this bill has a lot of fluff. They are way overcharging for everything."
