Hello Everyone, I hate that I even have to post anything negative about anyone or anything. However, this is long overdue. Before I get started, I am completely aware results are never guaranteed and they vary person to person. My procedure was done in 2014 at Sono Bello in Beverly Hills. I am a single mom and was a full-time student recently out of the military. I wanted to do something nice for myself because I work so hard and I was starting my new life here in LA. I was 5'8" 128 pounds (now I am 118 pounds). My desire was to remove trouble spots around my abdomen from having a child over 18 years ago. No matter how much I worked out, nothing seems to work. During my consult, I was talked into having lipo and a fat transfer to the butt. I figured why not use the fat (even though I hardly even had any) instead of tossing it. I moved forward and did EVERYTHING I was told pre and post opp. However, I ended with dents in my lower back. Seems as though he used either the wrong sized cannula or was too aggressive when suctioning. I really didn't have any fat in that area so, he should have NOT suctioned that area. After about 3 months post op, I began to question him about it. He stated I was wearing the compression garment wrong and that's what caused the dents. Um, no that's not what caused the dents. I wore the compression garment as instructed 1000000000%. In the line of work I am in, I can't afford to be botched nor NOT entail the basic common sense to implement a surgeon's instruction. I was told to wait it out as sometimes it takes up to 1-2 years for final results. In the meantime, he had the nurse set me up with Venus treatments (totally not worth it). I may have had 20 and it did nothing. Since then, I gave up What would have been nice is if he would have just fixed it for me. That's all I ask and that's not too much from one human to another. This shit cost me a lot of money and as a single parent, it's tough especially to NOT be happy with the investment. If it were my practice, I would assure I do all I can to fix any issues so my patients can be happy. Afterall, they are spending thousands of their hard -earned dollars. Ok, so this is long overdue "butt" I got a BBL from Dr. Dass almost a year ago. I wanted to wait at least til my 6 month post-op and now it's at almost a year however, I feel my review will be at it's upmost potential because I know swelling can be complete 6 months to a year. I remember reading every review prior and every review was so beneficial to my experience. Anywho, I am still pleased. I wasn't "the best" candidate for major results (my words NOT his) meaning; I was/am only 110lbs at 5'2". I didn't have a lot of fat to transfer so knew I wasn't to expect MAJOR ass results, my intent. But I knew anything was better than what I had, for those of you like me, you get it. The things ppl say:'( I had a little bit of love handles, not enough to have the crease but was well aware that that whatever we could transfer would be applied to where I could benefit from it most, which he advised in the spots and I agreed. Today my confidence is changed and I wear things I could have never, like a romper, I love jogger pants, a slinky dress or even shorter shirts that don't cover my bum. For those at work that I didn't tell, they didn't notice, which was great. I didn't wanna walk in like OMG, what did she have done?! But for those that knew, they noticed and it's great. It's natural and what really makes it is my slope. My waist I noticed day one. It was snatched. I had my love handles and lower back, not my abdomen done. My favorite is my 45 degree angle, you'll know it when you get it done. The Recovery: I bartend so I work standing up. So I would have been able to work a week after but I took 2 wks off just because. No you can't sit for 6 wks I think it was but was it worth it? For me, even how subtle, yes. And the surgery is no big deal so don't stress. I was literally walking around the house that day and the next to get a snack or whatever just fine. Was it all worth it? It's the thing you dreamed about for probably over a decade right, so yes. At the end of the day, he changed my shape, not just my butt. I love my shape and he changed my life. The cost, I paid under 10k. For me, that was worth it and it was a trusted job not something sketchy from TJ, F that. This is your body. I hit rock bottom with my self esteem and Dr. Dass gave me life again at 41. I remember he said, "people come in to look like you" meaning, I'm an athletic build and not overweight, but I was insecure and unhappy and it had become to where I didn't want to even date to avoid intimate moments. I was afraid he wouldn't be able to take me honestly, and I didn't want implants. I lost a cpl pounds cuz I only ate salads mostly to just be healthy with all the nutrients after surgery but even if you think you don't have enough fat, get a consultation at least like me. It might change your life. NOTE: Even though you're excited for your new body, don't go shopping for bottoms until your swelling has gone down like 4 or 5 months. read more

I had my tummy tuck and BBL surgery almost 4 months ago. I love my results. He completely changed my entire body shape. I had so much loose skin and flat butt that I wasn't expecting the results I got. My shape is beautiful, not over done at all. I had researched ad finally decided to have a consultation with Dennis Dass. I really loved his work but my visit was so disappointing. He told me I'd need a tummy tuck and I was 145 lbs, no stretch marks from a child I had 27 yrs ago and already had a nice shape. He was rude and when I told him I wanted my belly fat to be gone and transferred to my buttocks, he said "oh so you are trying to get both ha" well that's the point. His financial chick came back with like 16k and me being scared. I was schiokcued. Seems like he only wants certain age types and girls for his image instead of doing what I pay for. I had an consultation appointment with Dr Dass for BBL in April. I flew from the Bay Area to see him. Due to the flight and rental car delay, I arrived about 45min late. I still wanted to consult with him so I waited. An hour passed by, he got delayed from the last patient. Okay fine, I was late and he was late too. But I had to run to my next appointment, so I told front desk that I may not have time to see Dr Dass this time. Their response: "no problem, we'll hold your spot for you for now" in front of other patients and shut off my question of fee refund. After confirming our schedules didn't work, I called in to ask for a refund, and they refused. Granted, I was late, so was he? I waited as well. My time isn't valuable ? I travelled all the way? He had many patients on that day so he wasn't idle because I was late. Dr Dass, in this situation you should've refunded in all fairness. As soon as I know he insisted taking the $100 fees, I took him off my shortlist. This speaks volume about the character of the practice, seems they care about money more than people. I am sure $100 isn't a big deal to a famous BH plastic surgeon. In my opinion the $100 should only be for the purpose of commitment, ie, if no show, you can have that $100 rightfully. It confirmed my observation that his clinic feels very commercialized. Despite that I ended up paying a few more visits to LA for the bbl consultation, I never considered going to his clinic again. Sometimes it's not about money, it's about the attitude toward money. In the end, I went to another highly reputable surgeon, who not only 1) charges no fees on consultation 2) gives you a $200 certificate for medical facial 3) whose schedule was one month further filled out than Dr Dass 4) the clinic is so low key, not as fancy as all doctors in Beverly Hill, humble to a point that if it did not write "Plastic Surgery" I'd think it's just a normal hospital. (And it has all kinds of clients, I've seen handsome athletes getting their skincare from there LOL.) 5) has equally press coverage as Dass but humble like above. People, you can judge by yourself, but to me how far out their schedule filled indicates popularity, and the way the clinic treat people tells you would trust more.
