Geoff is honest and knowledgeable with very fair pricing. He will take the time to explain all the work that needs to be done and what things you should look out for in the future. I took my BMW to him for cooling system repairs, but he can repair all brands of autos. On older vehicles, like mine, he will find additional work that needs to be done, but he has good judgement and will communicate optional work that needs to be done. Auto repair is not an exact science and most people do not understand that complications can come up with any repair job, so do not let any negative reviews you see here concern you. Under MA state law 940 CMR 5.05 (3), Before beginning any work, a repair shop must give you a written estimate listing the specific repairs to be made. The estimate must list the specific parts, labor, and cost of the repairs, unless the charges are posted where they may readily be seen. This written estimate must be signed by you. I brought my car in to have the power steering hose replaced. Geoff told me that he would have the car diagnosed and give me the estimate. This never occured, and after leaving him a voicemail asking for an update, he called me back hours later saying work is completed. I went to the shop to pick up the car and he tells me that he replaced the linkage system and a sway bar bushing, repairs that were never discussed and doubled the amount of money I was expecting to pay. When I told him that he was supposed to give me an estimate and I could not pay this in full, he began cursing me out and berating me. I asked if he can just bill me and I would pay him half and half or something, he told me that I'm not leaving with my car and he doesnt run a charity. I've been using mechanics since I'm 16 and have never had a problem getting a bill and paying it off. I'm in the military and everyone know we get paid every 2 weeks. As a service member, I am completely disgusted that there are people like this that I defend. I hope he takes down his American flag that he has in the shop. DO NOT USE THIS GUY read more

I can't say enough good things about Jeff. He's fast, his prices are reasonable, and he is just a really nice person. He's diagnosed problems no one else has been able to and given me honest answers about what work is necessary, instead of trying to sell me a more expensive service. Never again will I even think about using, recommending, or stepping foot in this repair shop. The owner Geoff or Jeff is the most dishonest mechanic I have ever met. He has no business running any type of business. If you have a BMW or any type of vehicle definitely go elsewhere to have repairs done. He doesn't even deserve one star. read more

Geoff does wonderful work at reasonable prices. I have had multiple cars repaired there over the years and he has always tried to save me as much as possible. He feels bad whenever I have an expensive repair. He is known for taking on challenging repairs on all kinds of vehicles. Like me, he especially likes the older BMW's. read more

This shop took advantage of my other half and wasted our time. The owner was inconsiderate and brushed off my other halfs repair needs and broke promises, even after my other half was kind enough to commute to the shop and provide a free part that the owner needed. Overall the service was terrible and rude. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place. read more

I took my car to Jeff for a transmission problem. He changed the transmission fluid for me and put in a new bushing on the motor mount, effectively fixing all the issues on my car (transmission, exhaust, and continually loose belts) at once for a very low price. Don't go here! I dropped my car off here and was never given an oral or written estimate, which is a state law. The mechanic just did the work and I end up with a bill 3 times what i was expecting.
