Irresponsible/dangerous Nice guys but after they finished and pulled my car out I saw the manager go to close my hood. He broke the (admittedly flimsy) hood prop but instead of trying to take a few seconds to reattach it he immediately just threw it loose into the compartment and closed the hood. This could be very dangerous if the metal prop touched the positive and negative leads on the battery. I took 20 seconds to fix it and I won't be coming back ever. A day after i drove off this JL location, my car started jerking. I got down the road, the exhaust started smoking. I got it checked out by a friend of mine, and they said either the wrong oil was used or, they overflew the my oil tank, thus flooding my engine. I have been there in the past and they were decent, honestly, but I have tried calling them numerous times over the past few days and never got through, and instead consistently got a message the "the person you are trying to reach has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet," so I'm not sure what is going on -- out of business, on the line constantly with no voicemail or holding function for customers, etc .... In case the number I had was wrong, I looked on their national site, yelp, and other sites to check the number and it looks correct. Great shop. I came in because my car was running rough, and noticed I was 1000 miles overdue for an oil change. They got me in quick and diagnosed the rough running (exhaust). Everyone was super helpful, knew their stuff and not pushy at all. Vacuumed the inside rug and cleaned the windshield. What more can you ask for? read more

Will NOT be returning... The cost of a "signature service" oil change was $69 - for the CHEAPEST option in synthetic oil. They never even asked me about the regular oil option, which I have been using in my car since I bought it. Now I have to go synthetic for the remainder of the life of my vehicle. Thanks for that... In these days when synthetics protect engines better than ever, they still told me to come back in 3000 miles for another oil change. I don't think so. Now, reading through the website, I understand that they only "check" the antifreeze / coolant levels in your vehicle. They don't actually top that one off. They are QUICK to ask you about a coolant flush, which in retrospect I should have paid the $80 for, as they apparently never checked my coolant. Less than 24 hours after leaving their location, and less than 50 miles driven with no signs of any leak or failure, my car overheated on the highway. Thanks guys... I appreciate the world class effort. I think I'll take my business back to Midas or Sonny's Simoniz Car Wash & Oil Change in Nashua. read more

I chose this location because of the favorable reviews that I read here on Yelp. I wasn't disappointed with the service or the speed, as I was only there for 10 minutes, but I definitely felt like the job was rushed. I was under the impression that the Signature Service Oil Change would require a bit more care. For one thing, the windows weren't cleaned properly and only a haphazard job was done. Sure, Jiffy lube isn't a car wash, but I expect a higher level of service. They informed me that the cost was higher because my Prius requires a more premium oil (which only needs to be changed every 10,000 miles or 1 year, whichever happens first) and this didn't surprise me. I was still able to use my coupon and save some money. Overall, they did the job -- but that's all they did. Maybe that's every Jiffy Lube. I just hoped that it wouldn't be an assembly line and that's what it turned out to be. read more

This place is the best. Came in for an oil change. Was out of there in 15 minutes. Price - $35. AND there's a window where you can watch them do the work. And when I told them my brake light came on once, they checked my parking brake and brake fluid. read more

Unprofessional. I often do my own oil changes, but thought I would give them some business as I had a hectic weekend coming and they've historically done a decent job. Not this time. Their upfront "quality inspection" guy got visibly angry when I turned down all of the upsell offers. I nicely cut him off about 1/2 of the way through the upsell routine and said I just wanted an oil change. At that point, he pointed to the oil change sticker from the window and sputtered "you haven't changed the oil in 20,000 miles, so you need to get the car repaired and we can't be responsible for the service". Sticker was from three oil changes ago, and I'd done three on my own since. We always use the onboard Honda Maintenance Minder which showed we were right on time (last oil change was 7,500 miles ago), and he should've seen that when he started the car. In any event, I had a coupon, and because it said I had to present it at the time of service, I tried to tell him that, and he grunted "Whatever" and gestured me to the waiting area. A very nice guy then checked me out, and said my car would be ready in "less than 5 minutes." Fifteen minutes later I was still waiting, and noticed that two people who arrived after me (and bought a bunch of the upsells) were already on their way. Then I noticed a different worker starting to take the cabin air filter out of my car and beginning another "quality inspection." When I showed him my already paid receipt, he apologized and said the previous quality inspector (Mr Angry) didn't tell him my car was done before leaving his shift. They were quite nice about it, but still caused a big delay, as they had to figure out what had been done and what hadn't. I would give this place one star, but for the fact that all of the other workers there do seem to be sincere and are trying. I do recommend you send Mr. Angry to get some professionalism training, though. read more

I was very surprised with the wonderful service I had today. Everyone was very nice, and the manager helped me out so much. I was able to stay in my car because my daughter was in the back seat, and they were just so nice. I loved how they showed me my engine and cabin filter and that it needed to be replaced. It was speedy service and so much better than going to the dealership like I normally do. I'll definitely be going back. With my toddler, this made my day so much less stressful. read more

Today was a special delight because they fixed my internal lights... everything was dim and difficult to read at night, but now all the pretty labels (radio, speedometer, temperature thingamajigs) are bright and clear! I really liked the customer service I got here when I went in today for a oil change and a headlight bulb replacement. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to fit me in because of their shorter Sunday hours, but my car was worked on within minutes of me getting there, and the cost was very reasonable. I brought my car here for an oil change and they did not reattach the safety plate that covers the oil pan properly. It fell loose while I was driving and started to rattle, they were not nice about it when I called them and did not take responsibility to correct it. I took it elsewhere and they confirmed that they had forgotten to replace the screw. I will not patronize this place. My worst fear is that my engine could get fried if they forget to replace the oil they drain and have me leave without oil in the car. Is it any wonder you see these kinds of places waving flags and such to get people to pull in for oil changes during slow times...and then they offer you a menu for oils like a drink menu with different types of oil, some of which can be very costly. I don't know what it is about this Jiffy Lube but I have never been let down. I got my first oil change here after 3,000 miles of owning my 2007 Mazdaspeed3 back in 2010 and have been going there ever since. Mind you, I got this car while I was in school up in New Hampshire. I still made the trip down to get my oil changed etc. here rather than anywhere up north. Of course I did a few other things on the trip, but getting my oil changed and car serviced here was a top priority of the two hour journey. Now I live in Middleton, MA and work in Waltham. I fly over to Bedford after work every 3,000 miles to get there in time before the 7:00pm closing. Great customer service, very professional, you can actually trust them with your car. ***BEWARE**** This location takes advantage of women. My girlfriend will not be returning to this place. They charged $40 for an oil change and fluid checks. They only changed her oil and she ran out of coolant less than an hour after. The system was short 3/4 of a gallon with nothing in the over flow (which they claim they checked but clearly had not). I called to tell them to inform them they forgot to perform the check, and that I would like them to make it right. I made phone calls to them for 4 days attempting to get an resolution. Both people from the actual Jiffy Lube Location were less than pleasant to deal with and the corporate office was pleasant but useless.The manager on Duty did nothing. What I have experienced at this Jiffy Lube is hard to make up. Because I suspected that they didn't change my oil last time (because the color of the oil was dark after the oil change service), I went back to the shop this time after putting marks on the oil filter. I went home after receiving and paying for the service. I checked the oil, it was dark, not new oil. I checked the oil filter, and yes the filter still have the marks I put on it. So they didn't change oil nor the filter. But they charged me for the service. I went back to the shop, spoke with so call the manager in charge. And he said if you have a Jiffy lube filter, the the filter was changed. I told him about the marks I put on the filter. He then crawled under the car and came out to say. You are right, the filter wasn't changed........ So the next time you go there for service, make sure you know you received what you paid for. These people can't be trusted. read more

Went in for oil change. These criminals told me that the transmission fluid was "black" and needed to be changed. Of course this was an outright lie. I guess they sized me up as someone who was incapable of checking this kind of thing. Jiffy Lube is apparently a criminal organization, and its continued existence is what economists call a "market failure". I don't understand how they can continue to exist. read more

I was blown away with the service.There are some really good people out there: I typically shop local and avoid large chains when possible. I was desperate and went to Jiffy Lube in Bedford (MA) to see my check engine light. I want to publicly recognize Jesús, the manager there, for his time and kindness. Not only did he do the diagnostic of checking the light for free (most places charge at least $99 for that). He ended up fixing the issue ( a simple fix) for free! He didn't have to do any of that and could have totally taken advantage of my gender and assume I had no idea what was needed. So, if you are stuck, go there! ( Thank you, Jesus.
